Great app in it's day, but no longer compatible with new android. I've used it with Tasker and Power Toggles. If either crashed I could always turn LED off from notification screen. Would gladly download and pay if this ever got updated.
I'm giving this 5 stars because it has served me well for a few years. Now I'm on a much newer phone and, sadly, it isn't compatible with the new Android. Oh well. To the developer, if you ever do an update, I will reinstall. And for what it's worth, thanks for a great app..
5 stars, been using for 6+ years, but now i have updated Android and it does not run on 8.0. Please update so i can use it for 6 more years!
Please update the app!! I miss having the flashing screen function!!
Love this app. Just touch the icon on your phones desktop & voila your cameras light comes on. Touch it again and it's off.
Update this app already! Used to be the best flash light app but doesn't work on Android pie. Been a year now, pretty lame!
This app has worked for over a decade, until Android 11. Now it won't launch. So long I guess.
Crashes on Android 8. Can't even open it.
Nice icon. Cool name. Android should not be this cranky with a torch app...;-)
Used to use this on my LG G3, no longer needed on my current phone (LG G8X)
Won't even open on Moto G4+, Android 7.0, Athene.
It lights up and I can see in a bigger area
Not work on redmi note 9
Was okay for a while. Would lock up sometimes.
Was great until it was abandoned
I have used this app on several different phones and this is the first one that it didn't work. Samsung showcase galaxy s phone. I have also emailed the developer about it a week ago and have heard nothing in return. I used to swear by this but no longer. Still no response from the devolper about the issue that I am having. If you are having problems with it do not expect a reply because it is obvious they do not care.
Have HTC One X and all I had to do was change the compatibility to "Standard+" in the advanced menu and everything works perfect. One touch widget function makes this the best flashlight I have found on the market. No ads, instant on, and simple to use. Thank you so much for this app.
Morse code, manual light code, strobe, pulse, screen light with auto brightness adjustion and of course the light with system integration meaning that it can be referred by other apps. Simple but versatile it does frees you from AD's because after using it you WILL feel thankful towards authors and consider donating them
I really like this flash light and how it works. But if possible I would like the light (camera one) to have the ability (option) to shut off once the app is closed. And could you please make the flashlight turn on faster, it takes awhile and if you need the light on quickly than you are kind of out of luck. So if possible can you make those changes. Please and thank you.
I used to have an HTC Desire (bravo) and this was my favorite LED flashlight app. It doesn't like my Galaxy S3, however, and tends to bog it down so much it ends up crashing. Tried stock rom and CM 10.1 to no avail. 4 stars because I used to install it as the very first app on my old phone.
Does what I need it to but I have a few issues on my Galaxy S5. Crashes when I enter the settings menu (so I cannot even view it or change stuff) , when light is off, notification remains to say it is still on which is annoying. There was also no epilepsy warning within the product which could have been problematic as I accidentally triggered strobe mode when first opening the app and moving between modes.
I love this app. A few main reasons why is 1 because I can actually lock my phone while the light is on and the light will stay on. 2 Is because I have seizures and with most of these apps there are very sensitive to turn on while caring ur phone down the street at night walking ur dog and having to carry your phone. This App allows me to be able to lock my phone while the light stays on and the setting are not so easy to turn on the stob. Thank you for such a great app.
Does what it should. A tap turn it on, another turn it off. It doesn't open an app nor does need weird permitions. Works great on Moto G XT1032 4.4.2. Unlike other simple widgets, this let you customize the icon and have some compatibility modes for certain devices. Also have screen flashlight but I dont really use it.
This app has everything I could possibly need in a flashlight app (widget included) and from a solid developer as well. HOWEVER, my one issue is that there is a lag turning on the LED when I push the button. By default, it was a 2 second delay, but I changed the LED function from Auto (Standard+) to Standard and managed to trim it down to a 1 second delay. No lag would be far preferred, and make this app perfect. Tested on my Galaxy S5.
Had to drop a star because the version from the App Store doesn't work for me. If it's giving you trouble too just install it from their website (v3.0.1 worked for me). This is a simple and elegant flashlight app and I've never seen one better. The hold-to-use flashlight and morse code modes are great.
I have gone though several other led flashlight apps, as this is a function I use a lot on my phone, but I have always found something that bothered me about the interface or the widget with the other ones. But I finally settled on this one because it is exactly what I'm looking for: perfectly functional, multiple features (strobe, siren, Morse), well-designed interface inside the app, and a working customizable 1x1 widget. In my opinion, this is definitely the best flashlight app for Android.
I use it daily as a light, but last winter it actually prevented a multiple car pile up. A car had gone in the swamp at the bottom of a hill just beyond an ice covered blind curve. Anyone going down the hill joined the pile up. I stood at the top and used the police lights on this app to get cars to stop. Keep it on your phone. You never know when you'll need it
seemed to work great...... until....... my phone (note8) updated to android 9 (pie). now I'll have to wait for an update, hopefully soon for next time I try to use my phone for a flashlight. not that I use it too much but when I do I like having the "power button" right there on my home screen, no dropping menus to turn on and off. kinda annoyed on the timeout it had though. maybe make it configurable/disableable (I'll have to look later, maybe it was and i never looked).
