Passed 822/900 on SY0-501. The paid version of this app was a major part of that success. There were a number of issues with the questions, but the sheer amount of repetition this app gives you is fantastic.
~$10 for the full version. Might seem like a lot until it lets you crush a $300 test! Good questions, covered probably more than the Security+ test did and I was very happy with the results. Definitely not something to get the day before, but if you have a few weeks to grind through their 1800 questions, do it.
I have read two different CompTIA 501 sec+ books and I have taken my CompTIA Sec+ certification and passed. I would not attribute my success to this app. Though this app does have some good questions. The rest are poorly implemented and the choices are off. Stuff also presented in this app are in neither of the two books nor the certification. I have done questions since passing. I read the questions. I know the answer as I read, I look for that choice in multi choice, and it's not there.
Superb app, I spent the extra $10 for the pro edition before I used the free much, sorry for not being able to give that an adequate review. Only using this app and Professor Messer's youtube series for the exam got me to pass in 3 days. If you're cramming, which you obviously are, use this app. If you've got more than a day use the youtube series as well.
Informational. I think it's helpful for studying. Just not so sure that some of the content is actually for the new SYO-601 exam. Although, I could be wrong. Regardless, it's great! I'll definitely continue to use it.
Great study guide! I used this and Professor Messer's video guide to pass the exam. This app is a must have, definitely buy the full version. It'll help you pass.
Questions are good with "choose more than one options" but when I'm doing practice and flip my phone over to a side, the app forgets my test and crashes.
Great app for learning; lots of explanation with each answer, and nice flashcards. Only docked 1 star for limited question bank and a limit of 40 questions on the practice test.
Really nice review tool. Handy for learning/revising bitesize chunks of information and the question feedback makes wrong answers informative. App is simple, clear and uncluttered.
Great questions so far! Only problem is I switched to the dark theme mid quiz and lost my practice test. Trying to continue my progress says test not found.
Fantastic app. This isn't the "God Mode" of Security+ prep Apps, but it's definitely a starter. Just enough questions to grasp what you're learning,whether you wrong or right the answers always going to be explained. Lovely app! I've passed Magyu Bytes for N+ a year ago and I just passed Sec+ today with help of this App and Exam Cram..Darril Gibson as well(big recommend)
Great Study Material. Limited number of questions. Found one bug in flash card section. Thinking about upgrading.
Great test bank that has been QA'd before release so there are no confusing statements. Love the answer explanation for each option...not just the correct answer.
Like the flashcards. The questions seem slightly more difficult than anticipated having taken the A+ and network+ exams
Not bad initially only has 40 questions. I quickly memoruzed those. I like the flash card feature.

The app is a little buggy and a small amount of questions are marked wrong even though my answer was correct (the question's explanation even agreed with my choice). There also seems to be an issue with the question randomization. With that said, this app is a game changer. I took the Security+ 501 three times and finally passed yesterday (I bought the app on my 3rd go). The content is all encompassing so do yourself a favor and pick this up with Darrel Gibson's book. This is all you'll need.
