TETRIS ® Blitz: 2016 Edition

I really like the game but it keeps crashing and I lose the power ups and finishers that I had equipped. I've had these problems on two different handsets running different versions of Android. It's infuriating and such a shame because I really like the game and am finally starting to get (reasonably) good at it. EDIT: That problem got sorted.

The info for this app specifically states that there are in-app purchases but no ads. Yet, while trying to play, I was constantly interrupted by adds. On top of that, it won't just get out of the way and simply let you play. It's almost always tossing some sort of pop-up in your way to adverty useless extra features.

It's all about the rather dull power ups. The swipe controls are very slow, and the touch controls always give terrible placement options and you have to cycle for too long to get the right one. There is no option for controller. Only 1 next piece preview. Forget infinite t-spin set ups, forget centre well stacking, forget any of the strategy that makes tetris great. It's buy (single use) power ups or get out. On top of that, it's full of annoying full screen and banner ads.

It's pretty addictive when you get into it, however I've had to knock off a star because I've used the same account across 3 phones and played this on all 3, yet haven't ever been able to play battles because of a bug that seems to have only affected me where an arrow appears but nothing else. So when that gets fixed, it goes up to 5. Please see this EA, I've submitted bug reports and stuff but nothing has been done. H E L P

Im not a fan of touch screen controls or games in general, bit surprisingly this works very well. Good graphics, excellent controls and sfx. Unfortunately, the game bears little resemblance to actual modern multiplayer tetris, and more to simply buying and executing powerups. It relys more on purchasing and accumulating items than skill. The offical Tetris game is excellent and more like modern tetris, but doesnt seem to have a decent multiplayer or fb invite mode. Can we get some middle ground?

It's really sad that this brilliant game has to end in April, I've had this ever since it first went onto the play store in 2013, and played it across multiple gadgets just to progress even higher on my level and money earnings I've loved doing daily challenges, completing leaderboards and just doing "that" everyday non stop there's no game to me better than "Tetris Blitz" but I thank you very much for this game to exist on the play store at the very start 😀

One of the best games I played. I've been playing Tetris in different platforms since I was a kid, then I found this game. Tetris Blitz is very unique for its 2-minute fast paced game. The power-ups and finishers made the game more fantastic than other puzzle type games. I've started playing Tetris Blitz in 2015. It's really sad that this game will no longer be available from April 21, 2020. I loved this game.

I love this game , since the time I was a little kid, it's been 20+ odd years, everything was good when I first installed this game but in the normal play mode the time line of 2 minutes is annoying, this is not what this game was about, keeping everything else as same just if you could remove the 2 minute timer in just the normal play mode , I would give 5 stars, because I would love to test my skills on how many lines I can make .. hope the developers understand my emotions with this game .. that was the very initial concept when this game was started. Wasn't it ??. 2 minutes ruins everything, uninstalling until the 2 minutes is removed in normal play mode

The game is alright, but lately when ever I play the challenges I struggle so I have to keep returning and as I wont buy more coins I keep clicking on the watch a video for a free extra go if was working fine untill recently when now it will play the video using up my data and wont give me an extra go no matter what I try.

Tetris is a classic game and I'll be sad to see it go in April. There aren't too many ads and no pressure to purchase coins or power ups etc. I like the different modes too!

Omg why are you deleting this game from Google Play!????? 😭💔 I love this game, I've been playing it since I was a kid! I do have some feedback though... Please give us more finishers and power ups for free and better daily login rewards! Also, 6x multiplier daily challenge is really difficult, I only get 4x at most. Battle results should be instant, we shouldn't have to wait for the other player to respond.

The game was nice. Now Spooky Trail dont give points as in the past. I upgrade two times this power up, and it stop to do the same. Now a power up without any upgrades give me points as Spooky Trail. Grats

Crazy visual heavy jazz up of Tetris that looks and sounds great but only really makes you seem like you're doing better with crazy power ups. To be fair the original game is still my favourite way of playing.

After the latest update, you can't get enough score. Even after upgrading the power ups I am getting a very lower score than before using the same power ups. The update has made getting good score difficult and has made the game less enjoyable than before.

It has been wonderful playing this game for years . I just can't believe it wouldn't be available anymore . Tetris has been always my love and this app made it more exciting with power ups . Thank you team for amazing experience ❤️

Absolutely awful. How did they get this officially licensed? This is nothing like Tetris. You just tap where you want to place, no skill involved to make hard placements. There is also no skill involved but rather about how expensive power ups you will buy. Only EA could ruin Tetris this bad. Make a game about spending the most money to be good in Tetris. Wait for someone else to get a license and make a game you pay to buy without in app purchases. This is not tetris, its trash.

so i'm editing my rating because i left the game with coins only to return and see 0 coins remaining & i will have to purchase coins. this is unbelievable. i have reached level 103 & now have no coins which i accumulated over time. that is too much so now i will be uninstalling this app. very disappointing.

Overall gameplay is classic and has a twist of power ups bur due to a bug in recent updates the game crashes 1 time in like 2 minutes. Not fun then😠.

Amazing, really fun game, the boosters, and finishers are fantastic... great game, plus the challenge of attaining maximum score in just 2 mins..

Face paced, but I couldn't keep up due to its terrible controls. A button control mode would be great.

Useless. Linked it to my Facebook account (as promoted) and lost all my purchases. EA Game didn't want to know and told me to contact Google, which I did and they refused to refund me. Too many bugs. Don't spend in app on this game!!

Game is interesting and you ger easily hooked. it's sad that almost no one plays it, so I'm first on the leaderboard after just ten minutes of playing. If more people would play it'd be 5 star.

I'm a bit disappointed that sometimes my score doesn't update in the leaderboard even if I scored high. Alsp, can't login to Google Play to save my progress.

Loved the Tetris Blitz, however the new update is lagging on my mobile... always stuck on and can't pass on facebook log.in authorization... once you click a button it takes several seconds before it responds.

The game is good except not always a level playing field in battles and tournaments. Players should be competing with same level of power ups as having higher power ups can be an unfair advantage.
