Very glitchy. If you move around the map it stops working. The radar map somtimes will not open and have a grey screen. Map does not auto refresh must close app and re open to get current real time data.
I installed this app and the radar was extremely slow to load. I would hate to rely on this radar during a severe weather outbreak. Also went to the Alerts tab and was going to set my alerts, NOTHING! The page is blank and does not load. I will try once more, if nothing still, will be uninstalling.
This weather app seems to be one of the more accurate weather apps out of the several I have. My brother swears by it and I can see why. It's definitely a great weather app to have in your arsenal. It may not be as fancy as some of them but sometimes accuracy can be a lot more beneficial when you are in a pinch. I believe it's one you will enjoy.
Doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S9. Have a new S22 now. This app is still slow to load, very glitchy and the ads are constantly in the way of content.
This app is my go to for live updates and radar. The person who does the live videos is a literal life saver during severe weather. However, due to my firewall, I have to go off wifi in order to access which is annoying.
I go by 2 radars and this one seems to be a little more on point.... the only thing that is missing is that I wish you can put a marker where you are at... that would make it more easier to see what all is coming your way... I follow you on Facebook... I love it... thank you for having something like this on hand....
Only wants to show San Antonio! I would like see the weather where a live, but the map keeps reloading and goes right back to San Antonio. Will stick with desktop version.
Disappointingly, most features did not work on my Android device, including the radar. The ads, however, were ubiquitous. In my opinion as a software engineer, this app is poorly designed and not yet ready for release to the Android market.
Really slow to load data, which is bad when there are severe weather alerts. Pops up alerts that are nowhere close and alerts that aren't emergencies.
This app is way too glitchy and buggy. It rarely loads correctly and normally brings up a blank radar.
It used to be good now it wont load and if you try to interact with the map it goes wonky and wont resize properly or at all. Guess I will have to download a different app.
Just installed recently. So far very helpful, especially considering the numerous storms we have had. Still getting accustomed to this app, but will happily say it is easy to use. I expect you can look for a small donation soon. Thanks.
I really enjoy and trust TSC. I look to them for current accurate weather, warnings, updates and exciting narrative, photos and videos.
Screens are all blank. App is useless. New phone fully updated running Android 12. Uninstalled.
All I got was a splash page with logo. App never loaded. uninstalled and looking for something else.
This app used to be good. Now, it's infested with ads, it's hard to comprehend & it's not easy to navigate. They should definitely revamp this app because it was once great & so many people rely on it!
About to Uninstall app.. raider screen is blank on one of the most active weather days in months. (Samsung)
I like this app, it's more accurate and they have a better understanding of the climate in the area, for forecast models, and they don't hype possible situations up.
radar won't load at all. maybe peak use right now....because is a storm...and that's when people would use this. totally unreliable!
I am fiercely 'Texas-loyal' and REALLY want this to be the best weather app out there for us. It needs some tweaks and upgrades, so I hope you're paying attention to all the reviews. Yeah I know, the Alamo wasn't built in a day, either. Please consider the need for GPS as the first area for radar (for obvious reasons). Also, we need to be able to adjust the transparency of the radar. I personally have the need to check other cities and many cannot be pinpointed unless it's a sunny, Bluebell kind of day. Additionally, I have a large screen on my phone and some selections are still obscured. The ads can easily be confused with valid 'weather' information and that comes across as incredibly deceitful. Adjust those to running across the bottom of the screen and allow Texans the option of paying for an ad-free version (for a REASONABLE fee). My thanks for your consideration from "Deep in the Heart of Texas"!
