This is an excellent app to use it's quite easy and simple it's quite better than using the walk-in option that people have it's much easier than going inside the bank and actually having to give the bank teller your information everything is at your fingertips and easy access as well as bank deposit information and requesting loan options it's much simpler than having to talk to them on the phone which you have to use it's much better than having to wait 15 to 20 minutes to speak to a customer
Since Texell's latest "fix" I've been unable to download my files to my management software, Quicken. I've called at least 5 times and I have not received a return call from tech support. The folks that answer the phones are useless with this problem. I've also complained numerous times that their auto answering service is not working and their "elevator music is too LOUD but still no response
I finally managed to get logged in after making a new account with new login credentials. But now the mobile deposit doesn't work anymore. It used to, but when I needed to make a mobile check deposit due to their branches closing for the winter storm, it no longer worked. I used to love this bank and would tell friends and family to use it, but I'll be switching banks this week. I've had enough problems with this one in the last year.
Texell locks you out of your account, so you can't pay bills on app or online through their services. I came through some bad unfortunate events, which made me late on payments..so they preceded instead of me having ease of access to this account; make it more difficult to pay what I owe by locking me out of my account on all devices. Great bank, but the thinking process on how money is being paid back to them is a bit of an inconvenience.
I can no longer access the mobile app because my phone is rooted as of the newest update today 7/8/21. That's an instant revocation to one star. Remove that junk immediately! What I do with my phone is none of your business. Dev response: That's an awful "security feature" because you're limiting a large portion of your userbase and now I can't deposit checks as a legally blind individual. You need to remove it as rooted devices do not cause security issues. Wasn't an isue BEFORE I updated.
App works well. I'm on Samsung Galaxy S9. Before that it was an S8 which it worked well too. It would've been 5 stars but there's no search feature for the accounts. So if you're looking for a particular transaction, you basically have to look through whole of your account for it.
I love Texell, they are amazing. I found them when buying a car, they gave me a fantastic interest rate. They also have helped me with improving my credit ratings. My ONLY grumble about Texell is that they do not have a branch in Copperas Cove. I hope they consider opening one in the near future. 11/1/21... Still wishing and dreaming of a Cove Branch.
it worked when I had it, it was handy, but when it updated, it was hard to use. Needs to decrease the text size. I can only see less than 3rd of what I'm doing. (Etc) I use Samsung tab. I try to go through chrome to get to it, but it still was to big.
We love our bank/credit union/financial institution. We have been members here for over 20 years. They have been Good to us and Good for us. We also love the new options, features and multi-functionality. But best of all, the Security. The sites are protected, they are very secure. Thank you Texell, the Texell families and Texell partners! Thank you.
the app often just doesn't work, loading is very long and it crashes often. very low quality, very much so needs a update.
Absolutely the work bank we have ever had service with. You can not deposit money at the atm. There is no way to contact and actual person unless you go to the bank. And once you get there be prepared to wait for the slowest bankers I've ever seen!
Not a tech person but I'm doing ok with one of a very few apps I've installed. You might even be great.
This app needs a better way to input your birthday. It takes entirely to long to get to correct year. But other than that is very useful.
Used to have fingerprint security validation on my Google Pixel. New Pixel 4 doesn't have fingerprint scanner, and facial recognition apparently isn't Incorporated in app.
The app is always up and working and that means a lot to me other financial institutes I have been with it was always some kind of problem and if I forget my password or my username I get assistance quickly if I run into forgetting my own security questions they are very helpful and you better have your credentials they make it very hard if somebody else is trying to get your information I give him a 1 to 10 they are definitely a ten
I wanted to deposit 2 checks for the exact same amount. One went through fine. The other stopped progressing at the submit button. Ill call tomorrow to see if needs to be redeposited.
It doesn't let you do a lot of things. You have to go to the website to do major stuff. The app is pretty basic. It's good for checking balances and you can pay Texell bills on it but that's it.
Few options, no outside transfers, no acct MGMT options. Basically you can check your balance and transaction history. Nothing more.
Great App it would be a true 5 star if I could just pay from an external account through the app and not have to go online. Other than that, it is great and easy to use.
Super convenient being that I don't always want to go to the bank. I can Mobile deposit and check my account and transfer money awesome app to have!
I purchased a phone online from a company that turned out to be a survey company for points. There was a 59.99 deduction from my account. I was not aware of the company's proposal but thought I was purchasing a used Samsung phone. The bank would not take any responsibility for the fraudulent transaction nor would they assist in reporting to the proper authorities. Beware the company is called the opionion survey group. They debit your account for 59.99 and you do not receive the purchased item.
I love the app. It allows me to check my balance, make tranfers, as well as view pending deposits. I dont know what I would do without it.
The new format is frustrating and not as easy to read. Easy to get accounts mixed up.
I love the convenience of the app. I just wish I could view pending items. But only available on desktop view.
Have been using since July 2018 and it works better than ever. I like how secure texell keeps our info as well. Still great app and easier to use than other bank/CU apps.

The app is great! The actual credit union, not so much. I'm in the process of changing to a better bank so I don't have to wait until they feel like making my direct deposit available to me. I've paid 2 overdraft fees because they held my direct deposit in "pending " status, while they allowed charges to pass through just an hour before they made my "pending " deposit available.
