Text Editor & File Manager

This looks like it could be really good, but 2 things prevent me giving 5 stars. 1) SD Card support does not work on my phone. 2) I cannot find any help or even a social media user group to understand how to use all the features. An email address (which to be fair I have not tried yet) is all we have. Otherwise best Android text editor I have found so far.

Was my favorite, now it's useless! This was my go to file viewing and editing app. Now, after the "update" over half the screen is cluttered with a hex view of the file. Worse yet, no way to turn it off! How do I get back to the previous 10star version?

Excellent app for android, but for some reason on my Samsung Galaxy S10e it is really slow and constantly freezes. It still works but it is really time consuming. Hopefully the developers can fix this bug so it is much quicker to navigate.

SO versatile. how does this not have any reviews yet this is the best hex editor on the playstore that i don't have to pay for??? i sound like a bot rn but this is actually exactly what i was looking for, ill update if there's any bugs i find EDIT: sometimes it will flicker a bit but it doesn't make anything harder to use and tbh might not be related to the actual app, plus it's only the text

Very fantastic. In contrary to other editing apps such as for Samsung files, and other file managing apps, this one is capable of editing misc files, and other unspecified data stored in your device. I experienced minor issues, such as slow loading of scanning and deleting of files. Nonetheless, It has helped me in cleaning up my storage. This is such a great app. Thank you developers!

Oh my gosh this is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a file manager akin to old phones, but new phones have only Google files, and this is even more than I bargained for! I would gladly donate to keep this app on the playstore!

Simple and full of feature, but need more improvement like showing notification when copy/move file in notification center and always on button when copy/move file.

Hello, I have been using this file manager for almost a year. It has been my daily driver for projects that involves some code editing. However I have been facing an annoying bug in NNN text edit recently: Sometimes when I type a character after using backspace, cursor randomly moves to previous line that it was before and appends it there. edit: The issue only happened with "OpenBoard" AOSP Keyboard. Seems like it wasn't caused by NMM

Finally i found an app that correctly edit a file text unlike others app that mess up my edit and consume my time but this app is the one that i will use from now on "NO MORE (DOCUMENT MANAGER) I HATE IT" and i rate this app 5 because its great and this app don't take to much storage , I really recommend this app to use when your editing something Good app though keep it up💜💜

Excellent file manager, but has permissions problems with the SD card on certain versions of Android. Can't move, edit, or modify SD card even with storage permissions without reinstalling between updates. Internal storage works fine though.

This is a powerful and thorough piece of work by someone who's really trying to contribute instead of milking people for money. The one thing that stops me from giving it five stars is the ugly low-contrast color scheme which seems impossible to customize. As an app it seems to have almost everything I want, but it hurts my eyes to use, and in low light I'm practically forced to use excessive brightness.

I always using this manager it's simple but i rate this 4 star because of the "move" example i have a "100" file in "download folder" file name is "example.txt" but i copy the 100 file and paste it to other folder because i need to edit the file after i edit the file I'll use "move" to "replace" my edited file in the "download folder" but it always error have pop up message pls fix :)

It was working quite well but then the reformat option for Astyle quit working. I haven't heard back from the developer

Phenomenal experiece over the years. Minor bumps here and there from my stupidity but this little tool outdoes my base file manager from two devices. Thank you.

Amazing file explorer, however I do have a few nitpicks. First, the photos menu shows all photos on the device like they are in one folder, instead of sorting them by folders. Adding an option to do so would be wonderful. Also, you cant take any actions from within the image viewer (things like delete and share etc), which is annoying.. Otherwise, great job l, keep up the good work! EDIT: dark mode bug fixed, +1 star, keep working on it! :)

I'd have given the text editor 4 or 5 stars until last night's update. But now, if I spend more than a few minutes away from the application, it closes one of two windows and resets the cursor in the other - erasing unsaved changes in the process. This is appalling behaviour for a text editor. Also, there's no way to turn off the intrusive auto-completion. If this program, as it was, had enabled cut and paste, I'd have relied on it even more. Now I need to replace it.

i'm new to this app, been using it for about a month and love it for file management. As a rooted user I find it quite capable, and especially love its text and hex editors. I use it as a code editor. Two things I would like to see added are the ability to remount system or any file system as r/w if i cliçk on a file there to operate on, and would also like to see in the detail listing - user:group ownership and permissions without having to menu/properties. this is a best app nonetheless!

I wasn't expecting a full blown file explorer to come be a part this app. It handles better and has more features than Google's. The text editor itself is also just as high quality. Edit: Okay I've been playing around with the file manager and it's easily one of the most powerful and user friendly file managers on Android. I love it. Devs please give us a way to donate to you.

This is awesome! I've been missing many of this apps features on mobile for a long time -- thank you! Text editor is only available from a file manager on my Android 10, while the shortcut feature on my Android 9 made it easy to add that to the home screen itself. The editor alone would probably do very well though.

I found that at the end of a text file, it will copy the last 54 characters and append it to the end. Making changes to the end of the file does not make the text disappear. In other words, I think there's an issue with saving the file. Speaking of which, it can be annoying trying to make sure the file explorer portion of the app is open and running just so I can save what I'm editing. Not sure if it's related, but it seems fishy.

Very good job but need more development. I missed the possiblity of open Google Drive and, even when the app has a highlight for asm it does not open a file with asm extension. I think the app should try to identify the content of the file but if it fail then the file should be open it as text to let you at least use the editor feature with no highlight. I will not uninstall this app waiting for an upgrade, I liked it.

Best text editor on the app store. Surprisingly rare to find one that actually, simply, works.

This is the most powerful Text Editor for android I've ever seen, Really a powerful Text Editor, but sometimes it doesn't load syntax for some large javascript files and other languages. I hope you fix this issue and improve the Text Editor for reading even the larger file and make it faster while editing and opening the large txt files and adding the word warping ability. Thanks

Definitely one of the well-hidden gems, fast and functional. Some flaws: 1. It flashes white on launch in dark mode; 2. When it has an intent to open a dir in /data it fails to recognize this as directory. I also really wish scrolling wouldn't hide the tab and path bars

Notepadmm is now a very good text and code editor, and viewer for all sorts of files. Unix 8 char tabs show properly, thanks for adding Pascal syntax, and I really appreciate the 'Open Readonly' option as I view many more files than I edit. All up, very encouraging updates, thanks! Can you promote notepadmm in pick lists of apps for text or all files, to save scrolling? Also getting confident with file manager safety. Only other wish now is more distinctive logos. Will tell my friends :-)

Best app to edit codes, codes of games, and even nice file explorer. It had met my expectations. I wanted to edit coding of game and it was awesome and easy...!! It can edit coding of some apps and games, where you cannot do it with your local file explorer! After coding I really enjoyed the game a lot and lot.!! It's all because of this app!! Thanks a lot for this amazing app ' MAOK'!!!

Allows editing of txt files anywhere, including SD card, which I think is great. The dark theme is really nice. I wish the autosave would trigger when I exit the app or a note, and I think the back button should take the user to the file manager, instead of exiting the app.
