Scenario of use:A "friend" gives you an micro sd card with a movie and UTF8 subtitles, but your TV is old and supports only ANSI.Instead of opening the PC you put the sd in your smartphone start the program select the file and that's it.Put it back on TV and enjoy your subtitled movie.

I think some reviews are little too harsh. The UI is functional (although I would prefer if it showed the folders of internal storage in alphabetical order, instead of what appears to be a random order, but that is a minor nitpick), fast and the app does what it promises. I was able to convert an ANSI-encoded file into UFS-8 with no issues.

Interface is awful, but the worst is range of supported encodings. Uninstalled.
