PalmOS: PalmDoc aka Aportis DOC converter supports uncompressed/compressed text documents and Weasel zTXT files. Proprietary iSilo format is NOT supported.
Google DRIVE: you must authorize your Google Play Services account and allow "Text Extractor" to access your Google Drive folder.
Dropbox: you must authorize your Dropbox account and allow "Text Extractor" to access it's private folder.

It was confused. Didn't check any of the epub files then says it'll converter but of course there's a blank then it stupidly freezes.
Thanks a lot really worthy app to extract all text from many format file in few seconds dont waste time with other apps try this works exactly.
Works extreamly well. Was able to email a pdf from noteablity on my work tablet to my cell phone and convert it to txt format so i could open it with a nomad/survey pro
Well I've had to change to 5 stars again due to the fact I 4got how I processed mhtml for 'Xtractor' compatibility. It does work...well...what I'm Xtracting anyway.

The info is collected for what purpose? I don't trust this. **** Apps should be required to IDENTIFY when a login is required so users won't waste their time if they are uncomfortable with being tracked by Google (and whataver 3rd party Google decides to sell your data to). ***** Waste of Time *****

No ads because it wants to monetize your private information which it does by forcing users to sign in through google.

I didn't like it, you can't find the thing you wanna get extracted into text and you don't have an option to use your device Cam
- Its easy to use - Convert a long text to many different format as result, but the result itself depend on source of the text - If the source doesnt have the "page break" so the result is no "page break" either - What you see is what you get

I just installed. Let me ask. Why are you in such a hurry for a review? Too bad the app closes unless you go to play store and review!
Before you can do anything, Text Extractor App says "You must agree all permissions". These give access to your Google Drive. It then insists you must answer the question "Do you like it". If you answer 'no', the app closes. If you say 'yes', it takes you to Google Play so you can rate it. Given that at that point, I haven't even tried it or wanted to save anything, the permissions are unnecessary. The demand for rating is inappropriate and threatening. I'll be uninstalling.
