App still doesn't receive notifications, Ive waited patiently for updates but none of them has fixed the issues. Calls can't properly come through unless the app is open 24/7 eating battery, previously It was able to save missed calls an texts and when you open the app they are visible, now NO notifications are received... Unless you Make a phone call First, which wastes all your minutes! 🤯 I'm so disappointed as this was such an Awesome app at one point, 6yrs ago to be exact.😨
I just started using this program over another one that basically died on me, and this one is working great. I think you get 10 minutes to start with, then they offer, 4 different plans starting 1.99 for 100 minutes with 1000 minutes being 19.99 which is reasonable enough for the great quality conversations. Super for an extra line. I'll recommend it.
This app is horrible in use. Not one call ever made in it has been clear enough to understand the other party. No matter the network that your using, it's trash. I only use this app for texting because I dislike Facebook so much. I also feel it's a travesty that I have to pay or watch a video to accrue minutes in order to make calls. That really defeats the purpose of having an app like this in the first place. I only have access to 500 letters so I have to end this, but I could rant for days.
love the concept of the app and the fact you don't need a working phone number to use it. now the down side of it's really busy you can't make a free call and sometimes the texts get delayed.
Been using for years. ❤️ I can't pay to reserve my number, as I'm on a budget. Plus, my luck, I'd likely lose my number due to lapse of payment anyway. Anywho, why the review now, after a good 6 years (literally) of enjoying this handy-dandy, at times life saving, app? Well, recently, after having lost my number a handful of times in the past, I received the dreaded notification, yet again. When I went to get a new number...magic, my # was still there, available and waiting for me. Yay! TY TF! ❤
It's very liable, when going through tough times. This app I have recommended to a lot of my friends and family members. Never had any issues with connection with everyone. If I am not able to pay the phone bill, this Text Free is my go to. Thanks for everything 💯💯💯
Better than any other free text and calling app. It is also super easy to get more credits if you run out and it doesn't cost anything but a few minutes of you're time. I know this app has been saving me since my phone service has been interrupted. Only thing I would change is when the random ads pop up you should get credits for those too, not just the ones you watch for actual credits, because you still have to sit and watch them too.
After downloading the app it will not let me create a account, and I cannot use the app. While going through setting up a login name I entered my email address that is used with Google, after entering my Gmail address the app asks me to enter a valid email address When choosing a phone number, since I do not recognize the list of phone numbers I put my personal cell number and the app tells me my phone number is not valid. This has truly been a waist of time.
Was working great...still can text but can't recieve or make a phone call...tried everything that they suggested.. my internet service is very strong yet I still can't make or recieve a call...prior to the last 2 months it worked flawlessly...would have been 5 stars if the phone calls worked
This app gets no stars, I haven't the best of luck with your app, two I think I know my own information, but again went I sign in, it tells me invalid information with my account, when I use my phone to make a call it always has a poor signal. Or no signal at all. And yet nothing is done.
it says email format incorrect, doesn't give an example of how to correctly format the email and there is not other way to write an email, I've never had any issues anywhere writing it that one specific way so how would this one app need it different than every other place in the world? stupid and useless.
Seemed good at first. Then "mysteriously" after writing out two long texts the conversations were deleted once i hit send. I could attach the hyperlink i wanted but the text written out before i pasted the hyperlink was deleted. No thanks. Bye
This is best app I use as my second number before until suddenly just crashed down and I'm not be able to login anymore and whenever I tried to login then it always stop and say nothing, I'm ready to give it a good star if they can find a solution to it for me and let it be good as it used to be
This app is great for texting I literally have thousands of text saved since I use It as a second line for my business. When I log on to my account on a new device it transfers all of the text messages automatically.... All of them! Which is great. The phone time mins runs out quick. But I usually have the purchased package and that gives me unlimited call time for 4.99$. a month.
Very useful app for those without cell service. That said, the app updates itself relatively often with no indication what it's doing. Demographic for the ads indicate a sketchy developer. Use at your own risk (assuming you have a choice). You probably do not have a choice. It serves its purpose.
App keeps crashing. Can't text without all the ads taking over. Can't even complete one text without problems.
Garbage always glitches out and close it self bunch of ads everywhere that interfere with basic functions so you can't even use it to communicate all around just junk
It comes in handy when you need another phone or haven't payed your bills. Be careful when using public wifi. I found web version works best.
I don't know who "Susie Weitznkmp" is and neither does anyone I call; however, that is what is displayed as my caller id name and there is no where to change it. Not cool at all.
Started out with some glitches but they were quickly taken care of. Now I use my textfree Wi-Fi calling instead of my Mobile data on my cell phone! Service coverage seems better than Verizon!
Back in my days it took two quarters to make a phone call; technology has sure come a long way now there's Textfree wi-fi it's better than that.
Voice don't work and getting late texts and needs to get better pay for it and wonder if I went to wrong app bought premium account for service
Text Free Voice is a great wifi calling and texting app, Ive had very little trouble using it and the trouble i did have was minor and simply rebooting my phone and or uninstalling and reinstalling the app has always fixed the issue. Love this app it's pulled me through rough times more than once.
This app never works like it should. I had it a while ago and it works better And faster then. It takes _for ever to open, then it won't connect so I can't text. If 8t does let me text it will not go through. And error message every time I try to make a call
I do have a update. I am now finding the app flawless. The difference between now and 3 years ago is now my wifi connection is 5gz. Not the 2.4 my my prior modem provided.. posted 2019: Application barely works. I try to make a call, I pull up the dial pad, it says the quality is excellent, but the call fails to go out.
I've been using this app for about a month now and just using it on an old phone I no longer can use for the network I'm with. Using it just for text works great for me and the out of date android I saved
Not too much not too little just what I need. Phone bills are practically useless anyways with Facebook messenger. Only the older generation use paid phones. Everyone talks on messenger anyways
Awesome for text but I have trouble with voice. It leaves me a message saying my Wi-Fi connection isn't strong enough. Could this be my VPN interfering with Wi-Fi?
The vibration and ringing is absolutely obnoxious. It uses your phones ring tone settings, not notification settings. So any time you get a text with the sound on it makes noise. If your vibration it on it makes an extremely long dramatic vibration vs your standard one. The only way to stop it is to disable notifications entirely, or to turn your phone sounds and vibrations off and miss any incoming calls
