It's great, except for intrusive ad's for free version. They are ineffective, drive users away and non-intrusive ad's get more clicks. Not buying app that has intrusive ad's. I used Text Fairy, but it needs to know the language, when only the text characters need to be scanned. It also had feature that I'd give 5 stars for: scanning a page from book that's curved, let's you define corners and transform to rectangle for easy scanning.

The app is easy to use. It does a very good job of converting the text in the image to text that is editable. But if the text on the original document is in separate columns the converted text does not remain in its corresponding line or row.

Some numbers has been scanned as letter and some letters has been scanned as number. Also there are some missed/changed symbol. But for overall, its good. You just need to recheck the text to make sure there's no incorrect spelling.

In general it doesn't have ads that aren't just random. But more like compensation for what youve scanned which is cool. I'm okay with apps doing this but if the add are just aggressive it's just annoying.

Nice app. Very easy to use. It doesn't copy the same format of text as the image and there are some errors with the words and spellings when you copy but it's more convenient compared with other text scanner apps.

Works better than any OCR scanner I've ever used on desktops and laptops. Mistakes in reading photos of text are minimal so it avoids the need to waste hours correcting garbage results. It's a great app to keep. So useful and convenient. Five-stars from me have to be fair.

For an advanced OCR it had more than its fair share of mistakes. "g" was mistaken as 9, o, & 0. o, O, & 0 (zero) were all over the map. Had to check every one and more than half were wrong. To be fair I must say that the bold zero in the scan did look more like the uppercase letter O. Documents scanned were the Nutrition Facts on the side or back of cracker boxes. Lighting was bright with no reflected light flares.

Used this to scan my son's homework to help him more easily find answers (looking for specific text keywords) and this helped tremendously. For some reason my eyes were able to find the words much easier typed out than on his homework sheet, possibly due to font. Thanks!!!

You have to sign up for a two-day free trial to try it out at all, but when I tried to cancel I realized there is nowhere on the app to do so! Now I've been charged more than €20 for something I don't want. Definitely felt like an intentional scam.

Having tried other similar apps, have found this app most reliable in converting photo to text. Even with faint picture it can accurately come up with the correct text. Thank you the developer of this great app.

It works well. You'll need to edit the text a little for proper grammar more often than not. Only reason I'm giving a middle of the road rating is because while it's a good app, the 3 day trial is completely unorthodox and you'll be changed before you know it. So if you're like me and need a app for scanning text off images in order to copy/paste into other documents, this is a great app. I suggest cropping the image for best results.

I got the app for obvious reasons, I opted for the 3 day trial. I thought that I would buy the app since my first scan was a success. Then when I tried to access the choice menu, it is not there. The email feature has the Send To field blank. Fix the email feature and allow a speed up to buy the app and I may just buy it. As it is I have already cancelled my subscription.

So far so great! Just downloaded this, and minus a few repeated phrases, it is awesome. I use it by taking a photo of text, scanning it, then pasting into a translating app et voilà, I have my translation. I just downloaded another app that is supposed to translate within, and it is flush woth issues, AND they want to charge a usage fee. This is an easy choice on which one I am keeping.

I don't know what else this could do better. the deciphering of the printed text is second to none. it's impeccable. and the fact that you can select the areas that you want to scan us fantastic. then it converts it to text which you can send via email, WhatsApp, whatever app you want. I'm a teacher and this literally helps me scan material from books in under 10 seconds. what more can you want?

A good app although if some people want to make a review that's where the problem is.They probably or truly don't know much about how to make review or how good an app can be.I hardly use this app unless I don't use it at all.Unless this app is good enough, using it is always optional or almost optional.What I say is good although it is not always useful enough in every way.It is useful but then again it is barely useful at times. At least it is good to say something and not be worried for me..

This app among others is quite unique, it's text quality very high, accuracy is most preferred among others. Am still exploring it's compatibility with other apps i use. Great work. Samuel

It's just so wonderful... As a teacher who prepares lesson notes in soft copy, it makes my work so very easy and fast. 👍

It has ads, however I would expect that for a free app someone designed, and they designed well. Scans text accurately considering my hand writing.

works great. only issue I see is sometimes the i is changed to a |. and I have to look thru it to make sure it didn't mess up because I convert this into speech afterwards.

Was very helpful in my presentation. Can skip premium adds easily. ( better than any other apps ).

Best text scanner... maybe only app that scans my Bengali language. Pop up reminder to buy full version is kinda annoying.

Not a bad App at all, it has extracted text from images that I didn't think was possible. It's a very clever program and has helped me to translate quite a few Japanese games articles. Once all the Japanese text was extracted, I simply tidied all the characters into full sentences (of course, ending at all the full stops), and then copied the text over into a few different translation tools like the obvious Google Translate, and Yandex and chose the best translation per sentence and paragraph.

The free trial is a lie. They charged me immediately from the start. I wouldn't have minded paying for the entire year if the app correctly scanned my documents, but the app couldn't differentiate between some letters and therefore scrambling the document. I have contacted the developer and and waiting for a response.

It's a good app. But it has its limitations. The major one is it can scan only vertically. If you put to scan in horizontal, it will scan but the scanned messages will not be in order. Take the other Text to scan app Textfairy. It does the job with picture perfect. This app developer need to update this limitation. Otherwise it's a decent app..

It's the best among all, in it's category. But the gui can be made sharper and modern as like the other two popular others' guis.
