…but works anyway once the program loads. How weird is that? It's *very* annoying because it often causes Translate to fail to load properly, leading to three notices on screen (two TTS crashes and one "this program is not responding" one for Translate itself). Strangely enough, as I'm writing this on the Play market, it has a big yellow box on this page saying "This app is incompatible with your Showcase" - o rly, how'd I get it on here, then? o_0

Pressing Menu key in TTS settings doesn't do anything on my i5800. Apparantly it doesn't work for many others. Please post some solution

Since it can't reroute speech data from any app I ever tried, with or without support for ttse. This is pretty much useless. Stuck with google English

For everyone who is wondering what this app does, it is and extended app that is linked to google translate. It reads the translated text outloud.

Its a must for certain apps and works great. Only complaint I have is it would be awesome if I had voice choices. The voice it uses is annoying.

Works like a charm w Google Translate. Not sure if the option for additional voices is under the TTSext app...

Froze X twice. Hope nothing broke internally by taking battery out to restart. In other words, terrible.

Youns are retards its not text to speechas in sms to speech you use it in connection with other apps eg :google translate or gps navigation

Installed 3 times,all 3 times i tried it it either force closed or sent me to settings menu..had to restart phone to uninstall, piece of crap...

It freezes my i1 every time i open it. I tried removing the sd and placing it back, it didn't work. Uninstalling.

Hey to remove an app,search app remover. This app removes so fast. And im wondering also how to use this. Smh.

Makes the DX useless. Your idea of unmounting the SD card doesn't work either. Try fixing the problem instead of ignoring it.

i like the app but doesnt always read the text & should either read the #or name of a incomin call & doesnt. fix problems app would b perfect

It doesn't allow you to press menu to see all apps running tts as stated above.

did not work at all on spica. Always have to reattach battery evrytime I try to run the app. Not recommended. Uninstall

Works brilliantly in Google Translate - it's not designed to stand alone, don't rate it low for that. Change settings to get really authentic sound.

Terrible! Froze my phone as soon as I installed it. Couldn't even turn my phone off, I had to remove battery! Not happy with it at all.

hell haha, I guess that female should sound bit better... it sounds like robot - got worst than old sam from windows xp.. removed.

Note to all this does work but not on its own you must add it to Google translate. Perfect on x10 2.1

It doesn't work at all and the speech is very poor and hard to understand. Don't add, isn't worth it

This is not a stand alone app, this helps other apps wirk right, had u read the description, u'd know that. Captivate. Makes other apps work GREAT!

It just stayed on the setting.. i tryed a million time but it stayed on that screen. Will never get it again.. it is crappy

This application is good. For people who ask It is use for adding tts speak engine such as svox,pico so you can change your tts speak engine.

It is important to load 1 program at a time. this program froze my droid x. not recommended

I had to reinstall in order to use my other apps. Alyssa, this is a background app that runs in background supports tts recognition. Very useful.
