Textra Emoji - Android Pie Style
Provides 2900+ of the latest (Unicode 11) emojis including diversity (skin tone) on any Android phone.
You access the Android Pie emoji using the + icon to the left of the message field in the conversation. Long hold on a 'human skin emoji' (for example a hand gesture) to see diversity (skin tone color) options.
IMPORTANT: These Android Pie emoji are ONLY available in Textra and not system wide (e.g. your keyboard app).

Nice. So far i like it better than the 3 other top rated text message apps. The one thing i cannot find in any of them is the feature to auto reply that i am driving and cannot reply when a text arrives while i am behind the wheel.
Download on every phone I own. Have convinced family members to do the same. Paid to remove ads also. Wish it had an archive feature for I want to keep old convos, but dont want to clutter the list. Why three stars. I know it is a feature that has been heavily requested too. Picked this over Pulse SMS.
Love this app and how many. Great features it has esp the delay before you send messages feature among many, many other awesome others. My best app by far!
Great addon for nice sms client .. I like how it is fast and developed .. PS : the top critcal review down with one star with guy complaining that he cant open it.. it is an add on dummy , you need main app to be integrated to :p
I'm with everyone else... I have textra... But I don't have "diversity" in my emojis... 🤷😡 Update: I stand corrected! You have to hold the face down and then pick your diversified colored skin!
Ugh,i hate this app it didn't even showed up in my screen like i installed it way to many times and nothing showed up i don't even wanna give this a one star this app deserves ZERO STAR!!!!!!
Some messeges just show that they are delivered but not delivered to the other receipient even if both receipient are using textra
After i installed it, no "open" button and the app isn't showing on my home screen. Then how could i use this??? Ughh
they don't show up. it does not work you will not see different emojis they will just look like the original with the app

like that emojis have several ethnic groups but why does it not have this selection for the family or group emojis only caucacian?

Been using Textra Pro for several years. It has so many more features than Google Messages. I originally found the app because of Dark Mode and stayed for the features. Blacklist is super awesome and useful. They're really good at responding to issues with the support feature. I can't imagine changing apps unless they decide to stop supporting it.
