Textra Emoji - iOS Style
Provides all the (Unicode 8) latest 1600+ emojis including diversity (skin tone) for Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop & Marshmallow phones.
You access the emojis using the + icon to the left of the message field in the conversation. Long hold on a 'human skin emoji' (for example a hand gesture) to see diversity (skin tone color) options.
IMPORTANT: These emoji are ONLY available in Textra and not system wide (e.g. keyboard app).

It works very well, though it lacks the newest emojis. To everyone saying "It doesn't open" etc. this is a PLUGIN for the Textra app, not a standalone. If you haven't read the description, don't write a review! Thank you so much Textra developers, and keep up the good work.
This app plug in was great when I first installed it but when I reset my phone and had apps reinstalled when it booted back up, the plug-in was not operating at all. I have the boxes where the ios emojis would be but they're just boxes... I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both but it hasn't done anything to help...
It's very cool add_on for Textra app. Some people are rating it low, please note that it's not an independent app. It works very smoothly within the Textra messaging app and has nothing to do with your keyboard otherwise.
Pretty good but the gif function was very low res. Other than that I thought it was very useful. I liked the ability to pin people and give people different colors.
The best texting app. I've been using it for years now. I love the amount of customization available, and since I have friends with iPhones it's nice to be able to use the same emojis.
This is an Add-on for ๐ฅ ((TEXTRA SMS.))๐๐ผ ๐ฅ(You DON'T open it.) After you download it ๐ฅ(OPEN TEXTRA SMS), push the 3 dots top right, go into settings and change which emoji style you want to use. Then when you text someone you will send and receive emoji in the style you chose. (Left 1 star temporarily) 5 star app!!
Great App! Been using for years. When to update app today and shocked to see 3-Star avg Reviews suddenly!! Reading the reviews, people don't understand that this is an Emoji Plug-in for TEXTRA -The Text app that replaces Google Messages! Why aren't people reading the app description. I feel really bad reading all these rude reviews to the Dev when I immediately bought pro ages ago because it's the best native SMS app I've found. Switching from iPhone to Android, I appreciate this plug-in so much
I've been using this for years and absolutely love it, but lately the food and drink emojis are all mixed up. When I tap on one emoji it prints a different one in the text line.
This app is rubbish it doesn't work at all once I installed it, the only option there was uninstall also on the home screen it didn't come up so I uninstalled it. I don't recommend this app its just a waste of storage
i love this app :) i like the way iOS emojis look, but i can't afford an iPhone so i always come running back to this app. i gave this 4 stars because there have been recent emojis added such as the white heart, the yawning emoji, and the flamingo emoji, but this app doesn't have them :/ i was wondering if there is any way you guys could add them because that would be amazing and very helpfulโบ๏ธ!! thank you guys, and i love your app!!๐
Its awesome, to be able to use the apple emojis instead of my samsung ones. Although I think u should update it as soon as u can with the new apple emojis. The ones with hearts, puppy dog eyes, etc. Thx for this app I was looking for this for a long time and this is the only app that I found that works
I used to love this emoji keyboard but here recently when I click on it inside my textra app, it doesn't pop up at all. I've reinstalled multiple times to no avail I've even restarted my phone but nothing works.
when i installed it the only option available was "uninstall" no "open" nor anything. so i went to my home screen, also no appiarence. that usually happens with scam apps. not this time, no๐คก
Can someone please tell me why I'm able to install the app on my Android LG V10 but am not allowed to 'open' said app? I go to settings and check permissions it's grayed out and says 'not requested'. Update: I have been using it for a while now and it was showing me all of the emojis in iOS style but now after the Textra update it's only the blob Android style emojis.
Wonderful to have as an android user. It would be nice to have the emoji updates after apple releases new ones. Overall very happy and have been using it for many years.
I love this plug in! It allows me to send and receive emojis like my friends who have iPhone do. I hope you guy update this plug in soon because there are a lot more new IOS emojis that aren't on the plug in that I would like to use!
For everyone confused, the iOS emojis appear with an app called textra. It's a messaging app that allows you to completely customize your experience. From your bubble colors, to your emojis. You're welcome.
The app is good I don't know why people give 1 star for this all you need the app textra sms for this and then you go at the three dots then settings then costumize look then go to the emoji style and select ios emoji,it's easy.๐๐๐๐๐ Edit : And btw I'm not a bot.
It would have been better if we could see if the person is typing and if the person your texting saw the message. and if we could have like the NEWEST ios emojis but overall its a great app๐คท๐ป.
Can someone help me ? I read a review saying after the 'add on' for TEXTRA SMS shows , u tap on the three dots and go to settings and change the emoji style but i don't know how to do it . Please someone help :/
This does not yet have the Unicode 11 emojis. So, when my wife sends me newer emojis from her iPhone, they don't show up in Textra. I know my phone supports them because they show up in the stock messaging app.
Shoutout to the braindead dude that complained about not being able to open an add-on app for Textra. The Emojis are added to the Textra app, and are used there once this is downloaded. Y'all might as well remove that review since it's useless
Ignore the reviewers that cant open, it's not an app ๐. You enable this in the textra customization settings in the textra app after it is installed. People need to read and get a clue before leaving poor reviews.
I see only "uninstall" i can't see it in my menu and i cant see "open" when i am in play google store. If there were 0 stars i will give them to this app. WHERE the hell is this app, how can i open it, when i don't see it on my menu. I am not suppose to search everywhere in my phone for it. Not 1 star, 0 stars. I put 1 because they don't have 0. Not OK bro, no!
I was a little hesitant about the low rating, but decided to try it out. Y'all are trippin'! I'm not an emoji dude or an iOs fan, but this ADDON to Textra is fire. Follow the directions. Great job!
This add-on works great with my Moto Z (including long-press for skin tones). On my Samsung Galaxy S7 though, long-press for skin tone doesn't work and many emojis are missing (I've even changed to Gboard keyboard because that's what my Moto Z uses). The good news is that it does display all emojis I receive from an iPhone.
