Can make one touch widgets on the desktop that will enable and continue to run when the screen is turned off, making it one of the only actually useful flashlight apps you can get.
Don't see any reason for this to have been un-bundled from the main app. Had to install two extra plugins to get back to having the same functionality I was enjoying before update.
Separate app & widgets when the widget depends on the app to work. Also, doesn't work as a Lock Screen widget.
It's a flashlight app, you shouldn't need plugins. You should have left it as it was before.
This used to be the best app. Now it's buggy - the widget keeps disappearing randomly. Not to mention it installs as two separate pieces. Please fix it.
Interestingly, the bulb on the widget lights up when you press the widget to turn on flashlight. Great features of this widget: when pressed, flashlight turns on without having to go into the app. Love it.
A widget represents anything, these small widgets refer to lights of various sizes, and are most useful especially in countries like mine that often have power outages. A very good idea indeed.
Was worried these widget icons are gone, happy they are still present.
Why have plug-ins to what's supposed to be a lightweight flashlight app? I had to download this just to get the flashlight widget I preferred back on my screen, and it opens a notification while on that I can't disable when the main app's notification is disabled
The widget was perfect - the latest update made it worse
After years of being the best suddenly everything changes. What the heck for. Multiple downkoads and the widget changed action to open the app instead of just turning on the light. Ffs no more chances
Sometimes on touching these widgets the flash light doesn't get on. It has late response. Or we have switched off the lights again and then I have to make it starts again.
No explanation as to why this got changed into 2 apps from 1. I'm guessing it's to make more downloads.
This widget still opens the app... I miss the old widget for the previous version. Don't like having to download each feature when all I ever used was the flashlight to begin with. I understand the writers explanation, but those with the old app shouldn't have been forced to update.
I agree with quite a few other people. Downloading parts seperately is ridiculous. The old app was better. And I can't set it to vibrate when it's turned on through the widget.
What was the point of messing with the widget? It was perfect before the update. This is just pointless. Used to be able to have the instant on widget on my lock screen, now the only option is the widget that just opens the app. Change it back guys, come on
Been using this for years not too happy with the changes a step back if you ask me
The apps work great still the same but that was really unnecessary
Please make it as it was before the last update
Now it disappears and has to be reinstalled regularly.
Excellent supr bubar app download this app
Seriously, what exactly is the point of this? Why make it separate?
Man, why did you need to do that for? Fire whoever suggested it. Undo damage = everyone wins.
Very bad decision of dev
And the point is?
There is no match
The response time between button press and light toggle is much longer than with the full app's built-in widgets. 5 to 10 seconds is far too long to wait for light when you need it. Also, sometimes it just doesn't turn on, or the widget turns invisible. Some as the Tiny Flashlight plug-ins are worth downloading. This is not one of them.
This app always gave me the most out of my flashlightin all of my phones, but having to D/L a 2nd app for The same function is redundant & ridiculous. My 5 star rating drops you down to a 2-star & an uninstall. Bad update, however you are talented, so I do wish you the best in the future!
There are many imposter apps, I only use the original Tiny Flashlight. My favorite feature is the light can be default on when the app icon is tapped, no 2nd tap needed to turn on light when the app opens. I only use the TF: classic widget for Tiny Flashlight. I like the TF widget icon because it looks like a flashlight unlike the widget for Tiny Flashlight. TF widget can be turned on/off from the homescreen without the app opening, TF widget turns the light on/off quicker than the app.
