I've noticed an improvement since the last time I commented which is difficult to control being slow and buggy, I know that there's a drop down menu, however to seek where you stop last time with the last unfinished episode you've watch seems lacking... I am an avid fan of abs cbn shows so I hope there will be more improvement with the navigation and ease of use...
When the app works, it works wonderfully, but it breaks when you use the seek function. I use the TV app more, and if you're watching something with subtitles, you won't see them if you rewind EVEN ONCE. It would've been okay if you can understand the language, but the GMMTV exclusive (which I watch the most) are in Thai. If you fast forward and an ad break happens, it resets back to the beginning, so it becomes a frustrating experience. The app has potential, but it needs refinement.
I Love ABS-CBN and all of the contents in this app. But this app is not it. The UI is trash, the description of each films are hard to read, the episodes are hard to scroll, there is no double tap feature that forwards or backwards a film. Video player is trash, it doesn't fully occupy my phone's screen, making it quite unbearable to use. There are also NO brightness and volume scroll options, and no video quality option. There are no film rankings, which is available in other streaming apps.
Too many ads. After 2 ads, it will be followed by another 2 ads. Watching a movie here in free subscription is not at all relaxing. The ads will show every 10 minutes then the movie will load for years. Putting ads is fine, but too it's too much. I suggest you settle for 2 ads when u open the movie and if required 2 ads again in the middle or in the end, but no more than that. It's frustrating to watch. U want us to buy subscription yet the trial is not inviting at all.
The old iWant app is better. This app is trash. It looks like the web version. It's not easy to fast forward and rewind episodes here. The iWant app is still here on the playstore. Why not go back to the old UI? THAT WAS BETTER. THIS SI TRASH. Same with the TV app. I used to use the rewind and ff button on my remote, but most of the time, I can't. It's stops and goes back to the beginning of the episode.
I know that the app is just also a website version.They make you to install it but you are directing to a website version. You must a have a stable UI. The interface and UI in smart TV is way better but the ads are awful. We understand that you need ads but when the ads played, it was coming back to the start of the video and the feature of fast forward is not that smooth. please fix this following problem. Also add a "Skip Intro" feature. We don't want to waste our time in same intro.
Good choice of ad free content, but note that not everything is free on the Premium Plan! You have to pay extra for some series e.g. Dear God and some movies which is disappointing. And you wonder if this is testing the water to expand pay per view. Hope not!! Also have to log out of Smart TV app and log back in every payment cycle to reset app because it reverts back to the free plan. Other than that, it's fine.
You guys needs to fix the bugs on this app, when an ad got played on the middle of watching some movies it will make me watch the ad(which is normal) I don't have any problem with some ad playing but my only problem here is when the ad is already finished, cause when it's already done the movie Im watching won't be played anymore and the only solution so I can watch it again is to exit the app and open it again, it's just a cycle, when an ad play it just ruin the mood, please fix it.
Very bad! I'm on free subscription but when you use the app from an android TV, the video is missing, audio only. Please fix this issue. Our viewing experience is affected for this issue. Our internet connection is fine and fast. The app has a lot of bugs, it will not play and remote functions won't work as well. Hope you can fix this. How can we plan to get a subscription if this app is not working properly?
The video player is the worst!! Please update it that you can skip to parts of the video without having to press the forward button repeatedly. The video would freeze on TV but in order to play the video you have to go back and restart the video and then it doesn't continue where you left off.
Slow and doesnt load! I keep restarting my phone and uninstalling the app many times on my phone. But keeps giving me error message "unable to load due to connection" I have a full bar all the time and still saying the same thing. I have a premium account and I'm paying for crapy site. It's been ongoing until now. How are you going to fix this?🤨🙄😤
My app updated overnight and I feel that the app is even more difficult and confusing to use. 1. The mobile app no longer has the capability to cast my shows. It makes me open the web application to perform this function. I'm also unable to rewind/fast forward. 2. English subtitled versions are gone. Im paying for a premium experience and I feel that some of the comments could be used by the developers to enhance the app (e.g. the ability to autoplay the next episode). Such a disappointment!
Update: the full screen mode works now.. but it is still annoying to navigate the episodes list. It doesn't show the date you're watching. My mom, a senior citizen is having difficulty navigating the episodes list, the text size are too small now. The latest update with the format is very annoying. I usually watch on my phone and now it won't display in my phone's whole screen when playing an episode. Also it is very difficult to navigate in the new format. Please bring back the old format.
The app is honestly awful! A bunch of 30 second-long ads just suddenly appear every 5 mins and it ruins the user's experience. The same ads play each time and does not have a "skip ad" button feature. Other than that, I think the previous bugs have been fixed. The screen was once blurry but now, it is not. However, the screen is too small for my liking. Back then, the app lags constantly, now, the lagging is minimized.
The recent update of the app makes it more responsive but overall user experience is better on the previous version. Clicking a show will open a mini window. that window is too small to interact with all the controls inside it. I cant even browse and select the latest episode because the slider keeps coming back. Like I said, the previous version of the app is more usable. I will choose user exp over unpolished features. I am cutting my premium on this as we cant really use the app.
I've been using this app for years and one problem is that it is lagging. However, I continue to watch bec. it boasts a lot of Filipino films esp. the classic and indie ones. This is the one (legal) app that have extensive library for films other than mainstream and I've been promoting this for years now. After the update, I'm happy to see that it's not lagging anymore. However, I also realized that classic and indie films are gone.Kindly return it and continue to promote these films. Thank you!
I thought the new app would be an improvement. It's worse. Can't even cast anymore from the app. Worst experience with video streaming. In addition, it uses up licence's in various devices even if not in use. So I have the app installed on my mobile and also using it via Chrome. I'm only logged on on the in chrome but it's saying I'm beyond the no. of devices allowed because it counts the app on my phone. Absolutely horrendous experience. Also keeps on saying can't establish a connection.
The app is very clunky. When I try to log-in on the app, it displays the "timeout of 30000 ms exceeded." The ads are also very distuptive. Sometimes, clicking the skip ads button doesn't work, and instead causes the ads to lag or play the same time the episode is playing. It would also be nice to have a "play now" button that directs you to the next episode on the list so we don't have to browse so many episodes everytime we resume watching.
Excellent as per last review. after updating the apps its hard for me to follow my favorite program series like ang probinsyano. the previous setting was good since you know the showing date but the present is only the season number and edition which is hard to identify which date it was shown. if possible please bring back to its previous setting. the previous was friendly user. thanks.
There's alot of Lags and bugs, Sometimes the caption disappear. When i was watching Bad buddy the Caption where different there's symbols like "€" , "ã" , "@" and more, its very hard to read but i still manage. Please fix the Caption because it keep disappearing, i have to wait for ads so i can come back, fix the lag too, The app is great but There's alot of bugs. Thank you. Please fix the bugs and the caption.
I used to like the app interface and all. Now the update makes it harder and not user friendly. The VIP/Pro version shows up every time you want to watch shows, series or movies. As well as the Top 10 of the week etc was gone. Not to mention the date of the aired show was removed, it is just showing now the episode name. Not a good update.
I like that it's free and has advance episodes but here's my eperience with the app: 1. It plays audio when my phone is unlocked or when I'm not using it. 2. Showing of selection of episodes and its description while watching does not look good, it's bothering especially when you accidentally touch the screen. 3. Lock screen controls while watching would be a nice touch, just like what netflix has.
The previous version was bad enough.Now the new version is even worse. The implementation is very confusing especially when trying to watch backdated episodes. Whats more is you cant even browse the home page because it wont scroll down. There is a long pause when you finally get to chose a show and i dont think my device nor my internet is the culprit.
Just recently, we bought a new tv, using Google play to sign up with my Iwanttfc premium account but now the app put me on Free Plan subscription! This site doesn’t give me an option to sign up under premium account. We are limited and can’t watch the tv series because of it. What a trash! I deleted and downloaded the same app 3x with the same results. When I first signed up 3 months ago on the other tv, I used Roku and upgraded to premium with no problem.
Some of the shows are having distorted sounds like showtime, After the fact, etc. sounds are not synchronized with the video, the video sometimes freezes but the sounds still plays. Android app is also not synchronized with ROKU, because of the annoying sounds I usually switch to Roku and it does not show the contents that I watched in an android app.
The New Version Update is so pathetic. Rather than a New Overhaul on the App or some fixes within the App itself, instead you throw everything out on the window and replace it with the Web Version instead. The Cast feature is useless, it just prompts you to open it on the browser to access it, which is ironic and absurd. This is more of a downgrade...
I suggest of putting settings in every video so we could adjust the quality of it for at least as low as 250p or 360p. Because the video quality consumes large amount of data. Those adjustments are helpful especially for the users who doesn't have internet connection at home and uses data like me. Hope you would consider this.
IWantTFC makes it possible to watch old and new shows and I think that's great, but I have been experiencing quite a few problems. I mostly watch with my TV and whenever there are ads coming, it'll suddenly freeze and not play any ad. Sometimes, it'll just freeze in the middle of the episode for seconds to minutes which is kind of annoying. I hope this will be fixed.
