Have over 200 stripes....then app stopped working...have reported this to Punchh ...they reply occasionally, and say they are very sorry for late reply. They ask me to send screen shots and phone version but they have not replied now for over two weeks after supplying info they asked for. NEWS. Happy to say app has now started to work. I have missed out on stripes...but surely 4 weeks to sort this out seems a bit long winded...don't let this put you off the food though..is simply the best!
Wont open, apparently my phone is rooted? It's not. Message states device integrity blah blah. Its TGI Fridays, not a banking app ffs 🤣. Ridiculous. I'm guessing it's because I have developer options unlocked, what this has to do with this app, I dont know. None my apps, which are actually important such as banking, work email etc have an issue. Waste of time.
Got this app and booked dinner supposed to get free starter but never appeared in rewards section so didn't get it. Scanned my bill to collect points and straight after points disappeared couldn't scan second time because says been scanned already. Absolutely disaster.
Stop being absolute knoob heads and expiring your tokens. Your apps fine as is but the amount of times I go, forget to use my points and just add on to my account only for you to tell me they are expiring is ridiculous. What's the max you lose 25pound of a total bill. And your not willing to extend it for patrons? Absolute joke ladies and gents. Edit: gone for two because as a whole the app itself is fine. TGI just need to pick there game up when it comes to patrons
As many others have said the app won't open: on a brand new phone it just says compatibility check failed, your phone has probably been tampered with. I think your app has been tampered with.
Terrible app. Firstly when you put your date of birth in you have to scroll through 1 month at a time. At 40+ years old this meant I had to tap over 500 times just to enter my DoB. Secondly, I scanned a £400 receipt and it only gave me 25 points, not the 400 points I should have earned. Total waste.
App doesn't work any more. Reinstalled it and can't even get past the getting started page. Shane, because when it was working before, it was great! Fix it please!
got 25 free points for downloading. spent £100 today and scanned receipt. my points jumped up to over a 100, and asked me to leave a review, I didnt want to right there and then. now I'm back to only having 25 points. no reward for me as I didnt leave a review, take my £100 elsewhere next time
One of the worst apps ever! The day I go to TGI for lunch, the app stops working and I couldn't use my stripes! Funny that! And the worst thing is, this isn't the first time it happened. I just get a long stupid message Oops! Sort it out TGI!
Resetting password doesn't send me an email. I had like 150 points but can't use them because I can't login
Doesnt give you a chance to scan barcode. You either have to have the camera lined up perfectly or do it manually. How it is now manual is probably quicker
The app doesn't give you enough time to line up the receipt to scan the barcode before saying invalid. Everything else seems ok
Can no longer access earning history, all my 200* stripes have disappeared, contacted customer service but no one's had the courtesy to get back to me. Totally out of order and bordering on fraudulent behaviour!!!
wont accept my receipt, says someone else has scanned it. whole point of the app is to collect rewards. I've emailed a complaint to TGI Friday waiting to see what comes of it
Really nice food and this app is great for having a look at the menu befoe hand. The rewards are also good a nice touch to get some freebies.
After about 18months of working fine. It cant get past the "We're getting started" screen. It's been a month of that now.
We ordered a starter to spend the stripes. The starter was wrong and then the app would not redeem. So I paid for an order I didn't make and really only ordered to spend stripes.
Tried to sign up but DOB requires scrolling back month by month with no option to manually enter a date. I gave up.
App has not been working for a few weeks, contacted the TGIF app team to report issue and they tell me it's fine, now I've lost my 200 points.
Fix the app. It keeps crashing. Can't see my points so they'll probably expire. Useless
Absolutely ridiculous and over the top T&C's. Shows a lawyer's superficial understanding of GDPR. I uninstalled it when I got to the 7th page with much more to go.
Didn't get past the ludicrously strict password policy attempting to register. Let me choose my own password for heavens sake.
OK but can never seem to be able to book the Ashton-under-Lyne site through it and have to book it via the Web page instead.
I really enjoyed the app until it logged me out and won't let me reset my password.
Difficult to get to the click and collect section. Navigation is poor!
Great harlee is a fantastic employee of yours. She is bright , friendly , and very efficient.
App keeps freezing. Cannot book anything but the website also freezing so it's no good.
Very easy to use and collect points. Really good. Very happy to have installed it
Love the new rewards system, as a regular customer I do feel like I am getting amazing things free. However the booking system is just too hit and miss. Sometimes I can sometimes it won't go past my chosen restaurant. Frustrating also that barcodes no longer scan. Have to input manually. Yes easy to do but there is a tool there that can't actually be used.
