Not just a useless app but one with a potential to miss your train or at least make one lost their temper... The main use for me was to be able to display all my tickets when travelling. Displaying your tickets (using a Thalys account) is totally unpredictable AND requires you to write the booking ref and name EVERY time you want to display them. When leaving the app, they disappear and you have to do this all over again. Can be a bit stressful at the gates or when having to show your tickets.

Worse than useless. The app doesn't work at all anymore. The arrival station field does not accept any entries. Same with the date field. I tried to clear the cache, force stop, reinstall, all to no avail. The previous app was not the most elegant but at least it worked. I've resorted now to using the web page, even though it is not optimized for the phone.

The so called UI revamp is an absolute disaster, whoever came up with that massive piece of garbage should go back to app design 101... The simple fact of switching to another app or sending the Thalys app in the background causes the app to reload, losing the current screen. I had to reload it et re-enter my booking reference 5 or 6 times just to board the train. Absolutely useless...

If the app does not start (keeps displaying loading animation on red screen), the solution is to clear the cache and data as the new version doe snot seem to cope vey well with cached data from previous one. For this go to Settings / Apps and find the Thalys app. You should then have an option to clear cache and app data. The app will then work. Thalys support was useless, all they did was to copy paste a "response" to my previous one star review blaming my Internet connection.

COMPLETELY USELESS Password doesn't work. I've been waiting over an hour for a password reset email, and nothing! I requested again from your website, and still nothing. Makes using your app or website pointless and extremely inconvenient. So the email finally arrived, and then the link sends me to an expired Web page. What is the point???

Doesn't open at all. Keeps displaying the "bienvenue chez thalys" animation. Backt to old school tickets I guess? Update 12/04 - I have the latest version. Still stuck in the animation. I have the latest android version.

Using a Samsung s8. App was working fine until a few days ago. I opened it to a white screen, the app would not load. Rebooted the phone and no change. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work again. I have to do this proceas every time I want to use it. Have uninstalled/installed it already 5 times in the past 10 days. The previous version of this app was much better.

What would you expect from a transportation app? I think displaying your ticket is VERY high up on the list. Well, you can fetch your ticket with this app but you can't save it. You have to enter your details an order number every time you start it. Even with an account. SERIOUSLY?!Come on! Saving to a wallet app or Google Pay doesn't work either. Fails with error. Edit about the reply: No you can't! I have a Thalis account.There is no way to save a ticket (not bought via acc) to my acc or app.

Can not log in anymore since the last update. Can not reset my password I receive always the message from the reset: system is temporary unavailable try later again. So basically I lost the app which was working fine before. Verry annoying since i travel on regular basis. No reponse of the customer service on my complaint email. It would be really great to deliver a fix version.

The new app is far worse than the previous version. It's slower (loading time)…no offline functioning (not possible to show ticket with bad internet connection when traveling in the train). The menus and selections of traveling destinations are more difficult, less intuitive...

Was hoping the negative reviews were exaggerating... no. Useless app. I just wanted to use it to save my tickets like any other travel app. How is this app functional if you need to enter the ticket reference number and your email address, and need an internet connection, every single time you want to access your tickets?? Absolutely pointless app.

I am a travelling with thalys every week and this is really the worst app ever. Keeps opening in French, even if you change your language it never remembers it for next time. it also doesn't store your tickets offline which is annoying when traveling and not having the best network connection all the time. Really a shame for such a company. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Keeps opening in French language and there is no language selection to find for non French speakers. Keeps losing the search. Always has departure station set to Paris! Damn nationalistic app does not consider users in Netherlands and Belgium. Used to be better behaved but as now only 1*. Out of protest, everyone who agrees: let's uninstall this now broken app till old functionality restored.

Slow (reload everything everytime), complex purchasing (at least 2 or 3 clicks that could be avoided), unreliable (existing booking are unreliable... Sometimes you have to check your mails), lack of smart-history (rebook the same)... From a "platinum +" client...

Good in theory but there are so many bugs in the app TERRIBLE to use. Eg, I cannot view tickets that I have already purchased (with my thalys world account). Even once they are 'linked' by entering the PNR code, they disappear from view by the next time I open the app. When a ticket is open (ready to scan to board the train) but phone goes into standby, the ticket disappears. And then, see above, the ticket is no longer visible in my account!! Buying tickets should link to bancontact app.

Outdated and unreliable; Used app on two trips for keep an e-ticket.App needs much time to load. Like airline apps generations ago app needs to connect to my thalys account to access tickets, which created problems in the "wrong" moments. The possibility indicated ro send rickets via e-mail did not work.

The card & miles section is not updated. The app constantly needs to be recharged when the phone is on lock screen. Not good when you have no data connection in the train in the countryside and the ticket inspector is waiting!

The new app is complete rubbish. Doesn't save bookings, hence completely useless. I now have to send tickets to my email address so that I have a place where my bookings are permanently stored. Disgraceful. Previous app was ugly but at least it worked

Doesn't remember the language (always reverts to French), doesn't display my next trips (but the website finds it) and opens to 'page not found'. I won't even start on the usage of the colors (why are some buttons in orange instead of the Thalys color?)

Like mentioned by others, the app (which always has been a huge mess), is now totally unusable since it only displays a white background. Uninstalling/installing doesn't help, and there's no reaction by Thalys.

App opens with white screen on Samsung A5. Reinstalled app, rebooted phone, optimized memory/storage, reinstalled again... no way to get this app working on my android device. Same app on iPad does work, but I'm not taking my iPad with me to show tickets....

Slow to open and poor UX. The bare minimum I would expect is to be able to retrieve my e-ticket without having to resubmit the booking number and name each time. Ability to store eticket in app would allow users to access this offline ; this is a standard / basic feature for travel apps. Also please make sure your terminology is consistent (booking number - reference dossier - called DNR in confirmation email but PNR in the app).

it's good, until you are inside the train. For some wierd reason everytime time in the past 5 trips I try to use it inside a Thalys train it won't load ( tried both wifi and 4G). So one cannot rely on it to show the ticket or to see what is your seat number ( unless you memorize before you get on!)

This is a great app to use travelling from schipol airport Amsterdam to BLankenburg belguim seaside resort. Travelled first class on the high speed direct services to BLankenburg and Amsterdam very quick very fast. Very friendly train 🚂 staff. I always travel this way when in schipol Airport or Amsterdam. The train ride is only about 2/30 hour's each way. The train 🚂 ride is very fast and very smooth and very comfortable. Well worth doing great for families air-conditioning aswell quite coach

The new version since 2019 is terrible and practically unusable. Slow. Difficult to log in. Important info is in the back. Please bring back the previous version.
