This app used to work great for rewards at flying star. Now it opens to a white screen. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled snd it doesn't work st all. Not sure what happened to it.
Won't even launch. I had to use the browser site which was fine, but the app is unusable even after a good bit of troubleshooting.
Terrible.. registered a card, had a $10 credit back for purchase coupon, paid for it, their system didn't recognize the purchase, I was asked to send receipt. They manually added, few days later I didn't see the credit, checked back, they say it is a system issue we can't credit..sounds like a scam..i am uninstalling.
Too difficult/time consuming to take a photo of each receipt and upload to the app each time you shop. And the fact that can only get credit for shopping if you use the same credit card you opened app with. There's gotta be a way to make this app with a barcode for scanning to get credit for discounts etc.
I have been trying for a week to resolve two issues. They stated I had two accounts and I should select one and they would merge the two accounts. NOTHING has been done. Even before that, I have had issues getting credit for movies. Two much time and effort for such a miniscule return (if you get a return)
For some reason, this app dims my screen brightness to a point that I can't really see anything. This makes it that I can't really use the app. If close the app or toggle to some other screen, then the brightness returns to what I set it to. Additional info: This happened on the redeem and feedback screens.
Using this app has been a nightmare and it's stressing me out. After the update it locked me out and it took days before it let me sign in. Now it won't let me access anything because it wants me to add a card. When I add one it says card already entered and still prevents me from getting in. There's no easy way to select the store you have to scroll through a huge list and I still can't find it. Your app cost me over $20 I couldn't access the coupons at the store. No response from the email :-(
Had issues in the beginning and the developers were quick to make the changes to the app! Works great now!
This app does not work on android (Note 9). I receive emails that I earned rewards but the app does not show any updates. As of right now, I just made a purchase and the app does not even come up. The screen is nearly blank. It's like frozen in a process. Anybody else having issues with this app on a Note 9?
Very disappointed. Rewards show as being available but they are not. Do not recommend.
To attach a restaurant to the app, you have to scroll through an unsorted list of establishments or open a map that doesn't work and that crashes your phone. App is okay once the establishment is attached, which is why it got a 2 instead of 1.
Finally managed to log in after twenty minutes of troubleshooting. App couldn't handle its own magic login link, documentation didn't address that, support contact form errored out, web app in-browser wouldn't work either. I expect the experience of redeeming a reward will be embarrassing after all that.
this app has changed my life 😁 hehe, but seriously, I LOVE the rewards! and the establishments that are registered with Thanx are cool, fun, eco, healthy, and nice to share with friends and family. thank you 👍 to the Thanx team for caring so much about users' and consumers' experience. it shows!
Apart from the savings I get, the app works without issue for the last... 2 years I've used it? I haven't had to fuss with it much and when I give restaraunt feedback I usually get replies from the managers. Overall this is a solid app.
Garbage. Reward detected on my app and I noticed my CC was never credited. Waited 30 days (/a statement cycle) and finally contacted them. They say it was a Visa connection issue w/ *their* app at the time and they can't credit my reward. Customer Service agent Hannah keeps giving the same generic response over and over. Edit 12/9: A week later and despite their reply no one has contacted me since my last email/my app review on 12/2
I dont own a credit card and if you dont own a credit card this app is basically useless to get discounts. If you use a debit card you cannot get most credits to your account you only accumulate point for the money you spend.

A few of my absolute favorite restaurants and bakeries use Thanx for their rewards programs so I've been able to use the discounts a few times now which has been awesome. My local BBQ place sent me a free BBQ sandwich for my birthday through this app. Never had too much difficult redeeming them and it logs my purchases instantly. Good service.
Worked great for a while then would only start as though registering a new account. No option to log into an existing account. Finally deleted the app and then reinstalled it and it restarted working again. Developer advice to enter my already existing acct email into the prompt for a new account seemed problematic because I don't want to create a new acct and lose existing rewards. NEED a prompt for existing acct to login.
Service was good exceptionally slow. One person working the register with a long long be while the manager just st stood around. When I did get my order it was wrong. Flying Star is not the well run restaurant it used to be.
