That Level Again 4

Puzzle-platformer with unique and surprising challenges!

Here’s A MASSIVE WALL OF PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL!

Let me present you the next part of, dare I say it, cult TLA series that has more than 10 millions downloads (+-give or take one billion), from an indie developer that has created That Level Again, That level again 2, That Level Again 3, Looper, Some Ball Level and many more! Years of hard work and dedication have resulted in a product that is kind of ok.

In this next chapter you’re gonna experience the story that just isn’t there but really want to be. Although the developer has left some clues, he himself isn’t sure what could be made out of it. You will some locations from previous parts that kinda shows that the developer has run out of ideas but if we dig a little deeper we see that life makes no sense, the space is infinite, and 42.

In the tradition of TLA, all puzzles have simple and logical (not always) solutions that you need to figure out. This time it's a big level that will surprise you with unexpected solutions and challenge your brain.
The game features:
- the first point
- long winded description that is top games standard;
- unique gameplay and such;
— long dash;
- at least 3 control buttons for the character and some more;
- linear gameplay;
- kind and beautiful character but that's not guaranteed;
- an opportunity to be a beta tester by constantly experiencing bugs;
- ???
- profit!

Prove that you are an exceptional person and test your brain (by beating this game)!
Hope I won’t feel embarrassed about this.
Are you still reading? You can be already playing or, I don’t know, sleeping.

TLA is a really nice game serie, but I would not recommend this episode. Author has been trying to make fun of mini-games crowding the store. Why not, but the tilting game with the moving spikes is too difficult. TLA was about solving problems and thinking out of the box, but here it begins a frustrating dexterity game. After wasting 1/2h trying to go through this step, I uninstalled the game. Waiting for an update lowering the difficulty or a new episode closer to the original spirit.

Second worst after the 3rd one. It has several unplayable levels due to incompatibility with my screen. Also there are some levels that don't make any sense. I still used some hints in the TLA1, but after seeing the solution I was like 'Yeah, that makes sense'. Here I used a lot of hints after a lot of frustration. After seeing the solution I couldn't figure how I was supposed to come to the solution. Also there were some not good working buttons. The game is still one of the best ones here.

It is different from the other games but still good. Had some really cool ideas even though some puzzles could use a bit optimization. To all those who are struggling at the four balls puzzle: it is hard, but still possible. You have to spin your device to get the balls to the dots like in a centrifuge. This means you u have to get each one in a separate line before you start spinning.

I've been a fan of this series since the time of That Level Again 1, and this has been an amazing puzzle game that was one of my favourites. This is the first time I'm writing a review for these games for one reason: 'SOME BALLS LEVEL'. I literally can't pass it, even when I follow the hint, I just can't get the balls into the dots! Please make this level have a skip button, I really want to play on when I can't just because 4 balls wouldn't do exactly what they should!

Quite complex, a little too complex. Strayed a little too far from the original 3 games' format, but that's just my opinion, you don't have to agree with it. Extra thing: I got stuck multiple times throughout this game. From not knowing what to do, to actually not knowing how to move! (once at the end, tip: it's behind the clouds.) Overall, it's a 5/10.

I have loved this series so far. But I'm facing some problems with this game. I just can't cross the level in which you have to put the balls in the dot. It's very much annoying. Also I can't even skip it. Whenever I press the hint option it just shows 'sorry try later' even when I have my wifi on. I even watched videos of it but still can't complete it. Please look into this matter. At least fix the hint option so I can skip it. I don't want to delete this just because I was stuck in a level.

Fun Game and doesn't require internet connection (except if you need to watch ads for hints). There are some bugs here and there like for example (spoiler) when you are looking for the star at the text "wall wall wall" part I was not able to see it on my screen and had to jump until my character "flew" up. BUT after (I thought) I had finished playing it I realized that you could collect those star cams - and that there are 3 endings and some easter eggs! Loved it! Was delighted to pay for it.

The Idea is great and the first few levels were fun. But when the game starts to be vertical the sides are cut off and I can't read the complete text. This means I can't continue past the "my test game screen" because apparently the door that is supposed to be there is at the edge and I can't see it. Would have loved to finish the game :(

thought this installment of TLA was wacky and all over the place. That being said, I'm all for that kind of stuff. Theres a bug right now for stage 1 if you click "turn on" for the accelerometer before the narrator tells you to it makes it impossible to progress because the combination lock covers the turn on option. Also in whatever that final level in the sky is if you walk off the steps in front of you, then you can't get back up cause it soft locks the controls.

great game. also to the game creator, I found a bug. at the very end, I got to the button with the dominoes by clicking "hint" and then "skip." however, doing it this way doesn't make the button work properly. I tried to make it work a lot and got frustrated. then I googled it and found out there's a proper way to get the 1st ending lol. just fyi, I still loved it and hope you make another

I hoped this would be the best of the series but unfortunately it isn't. Instead of being a dark story like the beginning of the third, or tricky puzzles like the first and second, it's more of the glitchy nonsense of the end of the third. After playing a few of the cheap mini games I lost interest and uninstalled. Hope there's a version 5 that goes back to its roots again.

Great game. Crazy out of the box puzzles, and sometimes literally. I've played all the others and donated to one of them. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a good brain buster of an experience. There's a part of the game that sort of breaks the atmosphere and I wasn't a fan, and I see many others complain about it too. But besides that's, I will be waiting for hopefully a part 5.

I love the game, kept you guessing with witty solutions to the outlandish problems. This game enhances the features of the other ones (e.g use a hint or take the play button) but maintained enough continuity to give an appealing sense of nostalgia. Ads were only shown when one needed a hint or to skip the level. Every game in the series adds more detail and lore, keeping you guessing like you do with their extraordinary puzzles. However, you have to be smart enough to avoid the wrath of the ads!

It is a great game, mostly. It has some issues with screen sizes where some important things where cut off. This actually made the one section impossible for me to get through with out skipping. I only found out what the problem was when I played on a different device. If this is fixed than it would be a five star

It's really fun, the puzzles are interesting and how you play it is very unique. This is my first time playing this type of game and even tho i haven't play the other games in the same series(that level again, that level again 2,...) I liked to play it. Tho you gotta realise that you have to allow the game to record your audio or you won't be able to finish it. That was my mistake so HERE YOU GO 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This game is packed with out of the box thinking puzzles. Every single solution feels earned. At no stage is there any obnoxious or broken mechanic, though it definitely feels that way until you figure out how the broken mechanism is actually the puzzle. A truly brilliant work of an evil genius. Can't wait for that level again 5. The only oddity is the request for permissions which are never used.

I love how at the end of stage 7 the text actually interacts with the character rather than giving us clues, it made it thrilling and suspenseful. I also like how you gave the girl her own part in a game instead of 3 of the games just being about one character,you made 2 with one,one with the other and one with both!I live it and recommend getting the whole series of the 4 games,I guarantee you will enjoy as much as I did!

I rarely write reviews, but wow. One of the deepest puzzles game series I've ever played, and each new iteration is better than the last. The first was straightforward enough, but THIS!!! It's thought provoking, challenging, and downright trippy. Looking forward to what's in store next!!

Amazing but buggy. I found a bug at zoom pause where you zoom out and cant fix. I found one after you get the star you didn't want me to know about you can go into the level and when you come out the screen won't follow you. My favorite game series tho. Keep up the good work! Also just found another bug with the pause pushing you back so you cant move and are stuck.

Wasted 10+ minutes of my life just trying to get four balls onto four dots for literally no reason, only to be slapped in the face by MLG dankness. 10/10 WOULD GET TROLLED AGAIN. As much as I'd like to leave this review short and sweet, I really can't. This game was too good. It breaks so many fourth walls it really brings 'out of the box thinking' to a whole new level. And it doesnt hold your hand through the whole game; hints are 100% optional. Truly amazing series, and truly amazing creator!

I really love this game and I hope there's more. It's weird but fun at the same time with a lot of unexpected ways to solve things and those ways will make you go "why didn't I think of that" or "you can do that?!" It's really funny when you start figuring those things out and there's more to what meets the eye. It's think our of the box style which I really love how the gameplay is put into this. However, I think you cna fix the controls and all a bit as it gets a little difficult sometimes.

That Level where you have to put four balls on four different dots is not working. I spinned my phone but they always end up in two adjacent sides. Turning screen rotation on and off isn't working either. Many people are facing this problem so I hope you fix it as soon as you can. Thanks.

Its the best out of this series its in my top 10 best games list. The art is the most unique out of all the series. The puzzles are amazing i personaly like the puzzles in here more than any other puzzle game. The story is kinds there but its still a good game. (Art 5 (puzzle 5 (story 3. Overall a good game

Your last games (especially TLA 3) are 5 stars, this one is just ok. Simply because the puzzles in this game seem random and aimless for the sake of gameplay. Many of the puzzles (obviously not all) in TLA 4 aren't as intruiging as most of the puzzles in TLA 3, and some were just copies from previous games. The puzzles in TLA 3 were subtly telling a story and were in an order to do so, but many of TLA 4 puzzles are just kinda there. This is what people mean when they say "the concept was lost"

Ell. T. Aug 4, 2019

Its a good game, and after I played some of the other TLA games this is definitely the best one. I feel like some of the puzzles are too much. The one where you have to shine a light on your phone is impossible for me, but it just doesnt work. I feel like this game series started as a clone of the This Is The Only Level series, but this game shows how the game is branching out to be different from TITOL. So, 5/6 stars.
