The Adam Buxton App

I love Dr Buckles, but this app doesn't seem well maintained. It doesn't work well on tablets. It is really slow, even just switching to another app and back it goes back in to a loading state. It also doesn't really have anything recent other than the podcasts. So no jingles since 2017. It's a shame.

Hi, first time downloading and it won't load - it just stays stuck on asking for my email with a loading icon. Hope it's fixed soon, thanks! Update: It eventually loaded past the screen I mentioned earlier but nothing else in the app will load, unfortunately.

It worked for awhile but generally slow, gradually got worse, then stopped working. I deleted and downloaded again and it gets stuck on loading screen. Really annoying app unfortunately. Sorry Buckles. Android samsung a4

I for one found using this to order a takeaway quite infuriating and the whole experience of attempting to book an online shopping (groceries) delivery slot was decidedly sub par. The rest worked much as you would expect and with vim.

Great content, however, when playing the Bonus Audio it will randomly stop. Also, I'm unable to download the content onto my device for when I'm out and about.

Maybe you need a cdn as its unusable in Australia. I'll continue to listen on spotify instead

Great app lots of features and a talking dog. What more could you want... Merch well he has that too...

Does a huge amount of heavy lifting to make the entire internet 4.5% better. All on its own.

Just will not load after downloading, I've tried deleting and reinstalling ... but nothing !

App used to crash all the time now it won't even start up

Adam pressured me to install this with his beastly influence. I confess to ompletely ignoring his past work until I discovered this new way to procrastinate, smugly believing that I'm broadening my mind as I giggle to his witticisms. I now find myself offering my team a ramble chat for their annual appraisals.

There's alot of fun stuff on the app. Unfortunately for me at least, alot of the content doesn't work as it should. Playback is temperamental, and if you loose connection I can't seem to get the player to replay from where it last was. Often crashes when I try to skip forward meaning unless I wish to start from the beginning each time, I'm kind of stuck. Hopefully this will improve with time. I'm on Android, using an S6 if that makes much difference

Love Buckles but the App is not great. I've tried listening to the Garth Jennings Bonus Audio about 10 times and each time I lose connection and it freezes and goes back to the beginning. There should be some way of downloading content to the phone to prevent this happening. Also trying to scroll through to get back to the same part just freezes. Please sort out. I appreciate just teething issues as a new app but very frustrating

It won't load cos it's new, give it a minute or three to get through teething problems Podcats. Have Paloma faith in the Buckles products. Buy a Buxton mug make a brew and wait for any problems to iron out

Fantastic app, just a shame it does'nt remember where you where up to in the podcast and reboots everytime it is launched - but still a fivevstar achievement bucklingtons. Pay no attention to them rascals in Bristol...

Lots of good content, but I am not using it for the podcasts, because you cant download them, or hide them once you have listened to them. The offline listening is important, so please, Really Quite Something, sort this out, cos I want to support Dr Buckules!

I recognise this app is free and I really wanted to rate it higher. Primarily used it to support Adam by purchasing content, but as a podcast player it's pretty naff. Can't play offline, won't return to most recent listening point, can't skip forward in podcast (some wierd fast forward craziness happens). Very disappointed.
