The Aether: Life as a God

I really loved this and wish it was longer! I love the moral compass, and Epoch. A really great way to pass time, just a little short. Noticed a Abug when answering prayers in a restarted game; if you view stats during a prayer, it changes to a different prayer (all were new prayers not previously played replaced by previously played in a prior game).

After reaching one ending of the game, I'm not really sure what to make of it. The experience was profoundly interesting, and I can't help but feel like there is some really deep messaging here which require all sorts of experiemental playthroughs to uncover. In the end, the potential of this game and the effort put in cannot be undervalued (although I would recommend that the authors revise the game's grammar here and there). I look forward to discovering more of this in-game reality.

its a Great game with an amazing concept, i found myself reading for hours creating new races and presonas for my character. The game is not too expensive, but since i am too young for a credit card i had to go through extra lengths to get the full version of the game. it was worth the wait, and i see myself buying many more novels from this studio.

Everytime i read it, i get a different ending. i make different choices. Its organic. it plays into a power fantasy I think we all have. it's easy to follow and just so unique experience that makes you think. out of every app in the marketplace this has to be my favorite one. it's definitely worth the purchase and I'll go months after reading through and have the urge to replay it, and each time I'm surprised by the directions the story takes.

came so short of a perfect game for me. i really wish they maid the game longer. and more of a non ending type game something that I can jump on to take care of kind of thing. like they could have ended it. but then let you get some sort of "free roam" thing were you have a bunch side quest to do and you can destroy and re create new races. and go hunting to find bigger and stronger creatures and depending on your "essence" that's how you destroy them. it had so much more potential imo

Great game, for hooked and immediately payed for full version. Downside was that it was very short for me since I am a fast reader. I would suggest keeping it under the 5$ range instead of 10 since it was a pretty short story unless more content is added. I felt like there was much more we could do but then it ends abruptly.

I love this game - I really do. The characters are fun to interact with and the gameplay is surprisingly involved. One of my favorite things to do was, truthfully, answer prayers from the creatures on your planet. It made the experience much more immersive. One of my main complaints, however, is the lack of diversion when it comes to the story. I've replayed this a few times, but the same end-game event always happens. What you choose to do after that event is up to you, but still limited.

This game was well-made and beautifully written. So much work must have been put into this, and I found the story excellent in nearly every way. I found various typos and punctuation errors throughout the game. However, that's not much of a problem, and I understand how difficult it can be to compose and write such a long story with all those different paths and options. Despite the flaws, I still rate it five stars.

Well what can i say. This story true strenght is on its replaybility values that it had. You can all over again and can likely get different type of storyplot. The dialogue, lore and universe was carefully thought and should been praised for. My only complaint is the whole 'longness?' of the book. After paying it seemed the story was rushed to end. I would like to play around some more but the ending was not entirely bad either. Overall very fun book to if you had time to fiddle with.

Please make another version with ads instead of a paywall. This concept is really unique and I'm very intrigued, however me along with many other players feel the same about the compulsory purchase to continue the story. This also applies to most of your other games, it destroys the fun of reading and experiencing the story.

Story is really good, but it builds up a climax just to have it make a pitfall and leaves you feeling like the story should have been a lot longer. Also, there are some choices that seem to not matter at all as it goes either way regardless of what you choose. It's honestly not worth the $3 at this point, and should only be a free demo and extended to make the story more interesting.

Fantastic. That's really all there is to say on the matter- Buy it! If there is anything to say about it, it's this: The graphics and controls are nothing fancy- It's an interactive novel, so they're as good as they need to be, really. Every option seems to have certain benefits and drawbacks, so each and every choice you make has weight to it, either functionally, narratively, or both. I've played this game multiple times, and each time I've found immense satisfaction in every aspect of it.

Awesome game. Got really into it and then the paywall came up. I was prepared to put 3 bucks into the game because as I mentioned before, it's awesome. I clicked the Buy Now For $2.99 button, and it doesn't work. I don't know if its a bug, or I'm just not doing something right, but rating would be much higher if I actually got to experience the whole game. Please ether tell me what to do or fix the bug.

Dont get me wrong, it's a good game, really it is. But the free content cuts out when the story gets good. I get that they dont have many ads, so they need a way to eat and pay the bills, but I do think extending the free stuff to like 5 chapters instead of 3 would be a good change. REALLY GOOD GAME THOUGH

It's a lot shorter than I thought... I did a run through in just 20 minutes. I've done 2 more run throughs with different choices but it pretty much concludes in the same time with very similar endings. It was very interesting, but there needs to be more chapters.

OMG! THIS GAME WAS AMAZING!!!!! It has action and fantasy as well as sci-fi and it also has life lessons! Its full of twists and turns, ups and downs, and it also teaches you about life! Both the good and the bad! Its super amazing! I highly recommend it to those that want to experience a different change of pace in this chaotic world that we live in! Create your own world! Or destroy what you create! So exciting right?! 😁😆😂

I found it to be a very good game. I loved the story ❤️. Wish it was much longer. Can the game be started over and changed by making other choices than my original ones. MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the characters can use more development and also delve into the nature of the aether, gods,Titans, daemons, and the universe they inhabit. Keep it up.!!¡!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!.

My experience was great but short. I definitely would've loved to continue with the story. I'll definitely play with my choices to see the different endings. It's a create your own story as a god through text game. Playing the intro for free will give you a great feel for the game.

It was great. One of the better choice games I have played of yours. But I still wait for a part 2. I would definitely get it. Hoping to expand on having the new amount of power and finding out who the being is at the end. Or ruling the court and going through it's troubles. We experience how we develop as a god and then how we sustain ourselves through it. But we only had small taste of true power. Please work on a part 2. Thank you.

This game is pretty good except for a few issues. 1. If you rename Epoch, the new name won't appear at various areas of the game but will show "Epoch" instead. 2. More options should be given when creating your world and species. 3. I don't like how the Titan seems to just die regardless at the end. 4. Some of the Court gods are idiots for no apparent reason. 5. There are misspellings. Good game but could be better. Especially in regards to the story.

Great interactive story, there was one option where i chose one thing but it did the other and i wasnt happy about that, but the outcome was still positive. This really holds my attention so far, i only wish that i could learn something new from all this reading lol... I will purchase the rest of the chapters later. For now, im not ready to spend money just yet.

One of my favourite choice games ever. Although I wish it was much much bigger and had even much more random events also I think there might be just one ending? Or two. I tried different major choices, but not much changed but still overall enjoyed it.

Very engaging story! There are a few typoes and grammatical errors but otherwise it's great! Very replayable as well. The only thing you'll be asked to pay for, is if you like it, to buy the full story. No microtransactions! 😁

Hello, I think the game is great and you should get it but requires money I have a suggestion, could you please allow people to play the game without having to purchase it but they have to: A: wait through ads every one to two pages maybe even three B: a 10 minute wait in between chapters C: you could add an intentional bug like the next button having to be pressed or the pages being a bit laggy D: you could add more options to the route you do spend money and even an new route to play

The dialogue is simply divine. The choices are challenging and super interesting. This game may not contain all the snazy action and danger like other games but it's still awesome.Definitely worth downloading.

I've played through three or four times, trying to take crazy opposite paths, and yet I can't separate playthroughs in my mind.

An ok game, but you get invested into the story, and right as the plot starts to build, it pulls the rug out from under you and forces you to pay $3 to finish the story. In the end, the $3 only gets you a fight scene and a bit of closure on your character, but won't let you interact with the world you made or the one you rule. Fun game, ruined by a charge way too high for the endgame.

This game is truly unique, and from the first 10 or so minutes of free playing I was having lots of fun. The only problem is the paywall at the end of this. Dev's, it would be great if you could remove this, or at least add a version with a few ads so that you can still make a proffit.
