The American Philatelist

“The American Philatelist,” journal of the American Philatelic Society (America’s Stamp Club), is the oldest continuously published philatelic journal in the world. The app itself is free and the issues within are available to APS members or can be individually purchased.
The articles in the app version of the magazine focus on stamp collecting, postal history, and more:

- Expanded versions of articles and features that appear in the monthly issues of the magazine.
- Regular columns on new United States stamps, including essays and sketches that show the development process for the stamps.
- A feature that looks at specific countries and its stamp issues.
- Search function to help locate certain keywords in articles.

The “American Philatelist” app content starts with the March 2015 issue. Previous issues of the magazine are available online at www.stamps.org/american-philatelist.

The American Philatelic Society, founded in 1886, is the national stamp collecting organization of the United States, with more than 30,000 members in 110 countries worldwide.
