The Amplified Bible

Having the Amplified version on my phone is a real boost to my Bible reading. It's really good. I only have an issue with navigation system of the app; now that - it's not smooth. Navigating from one Bible reference to another, even within the same book requires a person to start the process all over. Get my point? The presence of the app is good but navigation therein needs to be changed and improved.

Super resource for dedicated study! I keep this and a KJV on my phone, allowing for a deeper understanding. Amplified is a vital translation, rich with meaning. This app is easy to use, and never had a single evident bug. Some great features like the book marks, which lets me easily return to where I was. Great companion to my paper versions too, since it is available at a touch. Everyone could use to try this version, and app. Maybe you, too will like Amplified so well you go buy a paper one!

Very good app considering it's free. Yes, you can't just keep reading from one chapter to the next, which several ppl have mentioned is annoying but it's FREE ppl. And yes, there are ads (at the bottom of the page, I don't find them intrusive) but why should you pay attention to THEM when you're reading The WORD OF GOD? Otherwise I don't find it glitchy in any way - works very smoothly. Did I mention it's free??!

Very helpful. i like the search option i can check in a particular book for a term and get all the verses that have that term. I also enjoy using the notes, bookmarks and highlights it's very convenient. But the best part is the night/day option. when reading at night and using the night option it's a lot easier on your eyes.

Great Bible, easy to navigate, it has reading audio, notes that you can make, you can also adjust the reading speed. Everything is carefully thought through and a huge effort was made. Things that can be improved, listening to audio scriptures on the phone background, make it easier to mark the entire chapter for the audio to read

Highly recommend this. Love all the options for making notes etc while reading and studying. Finding an audio version of the Holman Christian Standard Bible has been a huge Blessing There is one area I see for improvement I noticed. The chapters and verses are not labeled and going through trying to label them is time consuming and labor intensive.... However it does ''force'' me to read The Bible a lot more in order to do that so.... ''Everything works together for the good...... '' :)

Overall ok for reading, but search leaves LOTS to be desired. There is NO print capability, and text highlighting/marking is limited to by verse (no means to color, underline, etc. portion of verse.) Even copying to use elsewhere. Add-ons, like plans, seem shallow swims in The Word and brief too. Honestly have explored some portions of app capabilities, but they hold little interest to me. All the peripherals are nice, but improved Marking, Bookmarking, etc. would go a Long way to improve!!

The best Bible version and the best of all amplified version. The only request I will make is an update that will make all reference quotes clickable to the exact quote and have option to get back to where you are after reading that. Just like "wordweb" dictionary have all its word clickable. And again make it be available to latest versions of Android phones because in as much that it can install even in Android 10 now but it will warn you that the version is not for your phone. Thanks!

Great app with great functions. Great offline experience and a wonderful translation. It has apt notifications for those who want to grow in the word everyday. I have loved it, I have enjoyed the presence of God in my life with this Bible. In times of challenges, I quickly run to it and then hear from the heavens. It has also got a quick search where you can quickly find that scripture you want by simply typing the phrases that constitute it. All in all it is a must have. God bless the developer.

this is the best Bible app. bookmarking and highlighting is very efficient, as i can access my saved and highlighted verses easily. the daily verses and reading plans are also very helpful in my personal bible study. books are arranged in an easy to navigate manner as well. great app. highly recommend it! Loving having the Bible with me every where I go. I like the "Dark" feature, having that option helps me with headaches. Highlighting scripture, underlining, and Bookmarking are all wonderful. I was even able to share the scripture with family. I love that there are 4 different colors to highlight with. I'm working on a reading plan and its going very well. Thank you!

The app has been of great help to me for the message is very clear and to the point. However, you can still improve it further by scaling down on the Many Bible reading Books, Chapters and Verses. Sometimes a long lecture makes no sense to the listeners. Good luck.

Finally, one of the easiest Bibles for my cell phone that I have ever had. With just a touch I can get to any book, any chapter, and any verse that I want. I love the amplified version, and to have it right there at my finger tips goes beyond convenience... Staying in the Word of God is something that we absolutely have to do every single day.

Great app, but there is room for improvement, for instance text color highlighting would be better compared to color fill, color fill of text is not pronounce especially in night mode. Navigation; no page history, this would go a long way.

I enjoy very much reading the Amplified Classic version! I have found it much more to my liking than the AMP because the AMP is not as extensively written! God bless! For a very long time I have been searching for an offline bible that has cross reference. Stumbling on this application delights me that makes me to read bible everytime. But there is one area I wish you can look into and that is the cross reference verses , it should be able to display as a floating verse when tapped, this would enhance the application to serve its purpose. Thanks and I wish you more power to your elbow.

I really like the read-aloud feature. It would be nice if they knew how to pronounce the abbreviated book references (or leave them out). What would be awesome is if a person read it aloud. Another feature I enjoy is copy/paste so I can share a verse (or a bunch) with someone.

It's good and the language is quite clear to understand... I suggest there is more for improvement... I believe it is possible that at a tap on any scripture reference whiles reading, the app is able to take you there to see references and can come back to your original text... Thank you

Everything about this app is great. It's just the ads at the bottom of the page that are really bright and irritating to your eyes, especially when you're reading in night mode with black background.

Very impressed with this app. When downloading it I didn't even kno it add a an audio reader and an search engine too. And they all work perfectly well. The words are deep and great. I really recommend this bible app to others it's great trust me.❤️🌷

This app and version of the Bible is excellent! It runs without problems, is easy to navigate and use, and the Amplified version explains in detail the meaning of the verses as you go along. In my opinion this app is the best choice. I've been using it for a year or two. God bless you.

I also have this Bible at home and I very much love it, read it, would not be without Gods' word in the "Amplified Version". Thank you so much for making this application available to us for free. So many of us need to study on our Fathers' word and this app makes that possible anytime, anywhere. Really appreciate the 'search' option on this app and the ease of finding what ever I need too on here. I can easily follow along with all the TV evangelists and all my favorite pastors on TV.

I really enjoy reading the Word of God using this app. The conveinence of having it right at my fingertips is a blessing. I have never experienced and glitches or overbearing ads since i installed over six months ago. Thank you for giving me a wonderful experience.

I love heavy easy access to the Bible on my tablet. I take it to bible studies and use it at home. It makes referencing a verse so much easier. I'm not crazy about the popup ads at the bottom but, on the whole, I have found this useful.

This app is the best,I love every feature about it:The highlighting of scriptures,the notes,the daily scriptures and most importantly..The audio part of it.The app gets to read all my scriptures even when I'm busy with other stuff or maybe when I'm a bit tired and I need to read aloud my scriptures because I'm a Audio learning style learner.This app is the best and I pray you guys will download it too because it really helps with my personal Bible study😁👍🌺❤

I love this so much. The amplified has been a favorite of mine for 70 years. It has always been excellent for young Christians because it is so easy to understand. I like the text because I can read it without glasses. Love being able to highlite it and also add notes. THANK YOU AND THANKK GOD👍💓

This app is really good, simple to understand and has exactly the same message like other published bibles that one would carry physically. In fact it is more simplified, breaks down those vocabularies one may not have understand. But please remove the adverts Thanks alot.
