The Amplified Bible, audio free version

I like the idea of audio, though the robot voice is distracting. Also when comparing this Amplified version of the Bible to the You Version Bible app. The text is different, because this app adds more text/words to some Bible verses than the You Version app does. Therefore I'm concerned about adding to God's Holy Word because man's interpretation is NOT always right. Sometimes new updated versions are not always correct on the interpretation of the Bible, because they either add or take away.

The automated voice reader is narrating without stopping after the first day of installation. 1. However it is stopping after the screen of the device is switched off or when it automatically shuts off. 2. The "screen stay on" feature doesn't seem to be working either. 3. The main draw back is when the screen shuts off or when it is manually shut the voice reader shuts off with it. 4. The voice reader doesn't work if the device is offline. Quite disappointing. Other features are alright.

I love that this is the classic Amplified version and not the new vile version that actually changes biblical meanings, instead of just expounding on some verses by presenting original language word definitions! I also love the option to pay less than $3 to eliminate all distracting ads! And I'm real happy about this app having scriptural references too! I haven't used any other features yet, but I'm extremely delighted to have the positives that I already mentioned! I absolutely love this app!

The Amplified is my favorite translation. I am just beginning to find the features like highlighting and bookmarking. I look forward to becoming more aquatinted with the features. Thank you so much for making this app available and making easy access to The Word.

Been looking for a bible App for a very long time. Downloaded Bible Apps before that promised alot but crashed , didnt do what they promised or just very basic. This App is easy to use with simple but useful features. I can make notes, store my scriptures, highlight underline etc. and I have it at my fingertips. Its a good motivation to keep reading and assists in memorizing word.

This is the best Bible app by far that I have found. The audio voice is not so robotic, you can select the chapter and verse to go to, it doesn't constantly interrupt with ads but it has the nice bells and whistles. Very enjoyable.

This app is good, it doesn't need you to be online once the modules have been downloaded to your device. I just wish it doesn't stop reading after three verses when the screen is locked but that might be a bettery saving technique so it's all good.

I'd give it a 3.5... love the audio ability apart from the app stopping every now and then when on audio... Where is Mark Chapter 2 though? You can hear it but you can't see it so if I wasn't on audio I wouldn't have access to it... Please fix these few bugs otherwise it's a good app

like it. I wish the automated voice had a softer, soothing tone (for listening through the night) but, hey, it was free. It's too bad that the voice reads over the cross references printed below many verses. (It's distracting.)

I like that you can do audio and a simple reading plan. i have a toddler and i turn on audio and read at the same time making it easier to focus and it has a pause button for a mom that has to stop alot.

The app has an excellent English language but the problem is that it cannot navigate me to a specific scripture that i want to jump into. Instead, I need to swipe from genesis up to a relevant scripture! Please check this little inconvenience! Thanks

Great app. It lists each book, then breaks it down to chapters, making it easy to navigate. I love that I can have my Amplified version to read wherever I go! Thank you for this app!

I like the cross references between scriptures. I don't like not being able to refer to previous book without going back to the complete list of Bible books. If that is possible, I haven't figured it out.

It helped me overcome issues I had with other apps.e.g I can play the audio without connecting to the internet and also after reading a chapter, the audio does not stop but proceeds to the next chapter.

Simple to use -user friendly, user can select verses to read using audio n it's offline. reading plan is applicable to one's choice. I ask developers to add progress of one's reading in it's categorized aspects e.g. poetry, gospel e.t.c.

This Bible version is the best when it comes to understanding the Word of God while studying on your own. The only problem for me are the adverts they are not the proper ones and not useful.

Please remove the ads and give options for reading voice, plus it is hard to find the on screen audio. I find it more help at the bottom of the screen

This is excellent. Absolutely all I need for perfect understanding of the scripture. I love it. But you can still upgrade it, and add up some features.

As a matter of fact,this amplified bible is one of the bible translations that i love so much because,it is written with the understanding of the average christian in mind,for proper understing wherever necessary.It is so tailored to the taste of the reader in mind,and this very factor makes it rank higher above all other translations in contemporary times.One is never at any point confused,nor loose interest in reading and using it.This is an added advantage over other tranzlations.

The audio only reads a few verses then it stops. Have to keep restarting the audio. Does not pronounce words completely. This would be very confusing to a new Bible listener. Uninstalling. Will find another app

I ve checked all your Bible apps, indeed they all fantastic, I used to love NIV but now I ve switch to this AMP one because some verses ar not in NIV Bible version in general eg John 5:4. This AMP version is very nice, but my only little problem is there is no subheadings(tittles) in the context as in this same type of NIV one. So if any updates can be done on it. Aside I checked to see whelther I can find that of NKJV of your apps but not so. So pls.... Applaud to you all

Very useful and intuitive. Helps me a lot in my spiritual journey. The audio part needs improvement though.

It's a blessing to hear the anointed Amplified Bible read aloud. The following are excellent - voice quality, visual layout, navigation & it's easy to use. We PRAISE & THANK GOD and the producers for the gift of this app.

I have read and studied a number of different translations and enjoyed them for a season but I always come back to the Amplified bible. It has become like a motherland for me. No matter how many places I travel to, there is no place like home.
