The ancient book

This is NOT a collection of books. I love how many of these 5 star reviewers have obviously not even looked at the app. These are simply Wikipedia articles on the books with links back to the developers own apps. If you find a "book" you're interested in, it gives no direction or direct access to read or see the text or its translation.

Informational, images are very blurry and unable to depict details. I believe there were more tests prior to unlock purchases.

wow! I emailed these guys (via in-app feedback button) about some popular ancient texts that I didn't see. Not only did they reply saying it'll be in the next version, they replied within the hour! awesome!

I absolutely love Books of all types,conditions,contents or language. The older the better....

I downloaded expecting to see the books them selves and was let down to find just a Wikipedia type overview

Still reviewing this one but it does look promising, if it performs as well as purported I will certainly rate 5 stars.

Only list of books, no actual books.

Nickel and dime ad infinitum, list of books then ask you to pay to stop ads, then to pay more if you really want any functionality instead of a list of books that you can find elsewhere. Then ask to go to other aps, really dude? Put the price what you want for your labour, instead of hiddiing behind gimmicks

Follow the links and download the companion apps, and this is a plethora of knowledge all in one place! Makes app searching so much easier! Yes there are pay to view parts, but in my opinion it would be worth it IF the pay parts function as well as the free parts.

Most if not all the content is from Wikipedia but the collection and presentation of the diverse historical texts makes the app worthwhile.

Fascinating collection of hard to find ancient texts along with their history.

Is just a list of the books rather than the books themselves.

Very Informative.

When looking through this app it appears okay, but I've noticed that to eliminate ads that occur at the bottom of the screen, it costs 2$ to rid them. I did so, then to realize that to enjoy the full capability of this app, I am to pay another 5-7$ more, depending on what actual features this app has to offer. The app may have many useful pieces of knowledge built within, but is to me outweighed by the costs associated with obtain the apps full ability of use. I don't recommend anyone to download this app if they are looking for a reasonable fully functioning app. I would have enjoyed this application more had I been told up front that to use this app, a full unlock would eventually cost about 10$, before leaving me disappointed after the fact. Extremely sneaky app creation tactic, I'll admit. I downloaded it. Don't let the title fool into thinking it isn't useful. Who doesn't like mass consolidation of ancient words.

4 Stars. I don't believe these books should be accessed so easily, however, I am being a hypocrite in the sense that I am pleased to have a directory for them. Well done.
