The Bro App (BRO)

There seem to be a lot of scammers on this app. The app doesn't send notifications. Also, my profile got blocked for "violating terms of service" but i haven't done anything that would warrant such a thing...unless chatting is now a violation, which defeats the purpose of the app! (And no, I don't do risqué pictures nor sell anything, other than trying to "sell" myself.) This app, isn't worth it.

Update: The '0' (zero) key press won't register in the bro app verification code screen. Multiple bugs that I assumed would be eventually worked out. Latest bug for me: after being forced to re-login through phone number, app crashed multiple times after multiple successful inputs of verification codes and now I'm locked out "due to suspicious activity" ...how can users use this buggy app if the system is forcing them to be blocked for extended periods of time due to buggy app? Yikes.

The Bro App successfully combines all the best features of other popular apps into this fun, easy to use singular app. So far, I really appreciate how they don't excessively push the premium options in your face. Once they start limiting free options, I'll probably discontinue using the app but for now will enjoy connecting with cool Bros in my area at no additional cost. Keep up the good work dudes.

ALL of the past messages going back 4 years are in my inbox again which clearly shows they are held onto indefinitely despite phony responses to the contrary. Besides the obvious concern about old messages, it's irritating to have to re-erase them every time there's an update. Be mindful of what you say or send since you can't get rid of old messages in this app!

What a load of rubbish. Had to give over a mobile number and forced to fill out information for it then to state "failed to save profile". Immediately deleted that app. Quickest app experience ever! Plenty more to choose from! Their loss! Their apps doesn't work!

Doesn't work, I went through the setup process, verified my phone number, set up my profile, and press the save button, but it said profile failed to be saved, no matter what I changed, it was always the same, a big waste of time.

This app is completely useless. I was logged out and there seems to be no way to log back in without creating a new account. Of course, when I try that it tells me it is unable to do that. And, before someone suggests it, I am not going to contact technical support. You ruined your app--if you want people to use your app, then fix the problems. Fortunately, there are other apps I can use.

Useless. I have a good phone (Note9), went thru a lengthy sign up process, had to try to send confirmation text to my phone three times, went to cut and paste my about me from another app, had to start again. Did the same steps again made a nice well laid out profile and just got another message saying 'profile can't save'. Really need to rethink my life if this is how I'm starting 2021. Nothing can make me try this again so I ask the developer to not respond.

App is alright. Cannot send photos most of the time. I try sending by camera, nothing happend or it delays. I try sending from the gallery, if i click the image instead of pressing and holding, it closes. Far from the best app ...

Bad app ever the reason for giving it a 1 for rating. Every time I must fill in my details when I open the app. And when I upload photos it always gives me an error message. I have tried to upload many times now. Please have this sorted

what to say about Bro? Scammer central! I accept I'm not in a big city full of Bros, and that age is against me, but so far I've only had three people contact me. One quickly asked to move to whatsapp to chat, one asked to move to hangouts. I'm waiting to see what the third one does. The use of English is very strange for the two that claim to be American. A complete waste of effort so far.

Not much socializing happens on this app. It's like pulling teeth to get people to respond, and when they do, it's a week later before apparently the notification doesn't reliably work.

Got blocked DURING sign-up, had to email to find out why and to get unblocked (one to find out what nonsense caused the block DURING sign-up AND another to get "unblocked," with a snarky "for now" bit from the founder), and, honestly, any app this snowflake-y isn't worth my time, so even though I went through the hassle of getting unblocked, I don't really feel like this a healthy environment worth putting myself and time into, so... Uninstalling...

App is very buggy and constantly throwing up java.lang errors. Filter does not work. Fix this basic stuff, and it might be a good app. Not worth using in its current state though.

Nagging to rate lowers my satisfaction. Logout/in not very good. Needs better security. Neone w access 2 my fone can login to my acct. I dont use facebook. the mail feature is intermittent at best freq doesnt work.

This app is terrible. I couldn't get past the Create Profile screen because my description wasn't the correct number of characters. If you're reading this review, I clearly know how to spell and follow directions.

Deadzone nothing here at all too bad they have the best layout awesome graphics I really like the concept I've been on here three weeks they keep telling me to swipe right but there's nothing in the swipe to swipe a complete vacuum and void of nothingness save time go somewhere else in rural Arizona scruff at least has people and you at least have pictures you can swipe right on try Craigslist Missed Connections it's better than any of these apps

This app is horrible. Never works. There is always an error and it constantly kicks you out. When you finally get on the app it tells you that there is no one new. It's a big joke and a waste of time.

Finally got verification to work, and im already disappointed with the app. It doesn't give you message notifications, and always gets dumb "no connectionc errors. This app is a joke. Even the POS grindr app is more stable than this.

The community of this app is much better than other apps, they have a global mode where you can chat with other guys around the world which is very nice. Reached out to them for an issue it was resolved the same day.

Won't allow me to upload any photos, I choose some and then it never adds them, kinda important for an app like this. Please fix!!

No option to log in just create new account. Then error message my email is already being used. Trying to create account again. DO NOT LOG OUT EVER!!!!! You will never be able to log back in!

It says that someone's 10 miles away but when you click on their profile there in California. Also how do you know if a person's read your message, what the check marks for? how do I know if they've been read.
