The cat's meow town

★ A cat raising idle game
★ A zero stress game where you only feed your cat every few hours
★ Make sure each cat gets 3 meals a day!

■ Spend time with the cats ■
The cats will talk to you once or twice a day.
Sometimes they will even send you a memo.
You can take them for a stroll, too.
On occasion, a cat might get sick.
Be sure to give them some medicine so they can get better.

■ Take care of the cats ■
The cats will get hungry.
If they're hungry, feed them.
They'll start to like you more.
Each cat likes different things, so try feeding them different kinds of food.

■ Decorate your cats' rooms ■
Purchase furniture from the in-game shop to customize each room.
The cats can use the furniture you buy to sleep or groom themselves.
As you befriend the cats, you'll get special items not available in the shop.
The cats will even make comments about everything you put in their room!

■ Make money with part-time jobs ■
You'll need gold to buy food and furniture.
Acquire gold through part-time jobs.
Once started, each job will automatically complete after a specified time.
After receiving hearts from the cats, you'll be able to do more jobs.

■ Talk with the cats ■
As you and the cats get closer, they'll begin telling you about their past.
Listen closely to their stories.

■ NPC Cats ■
NPC cats will help guide you through the game.
They also sell rare and valuable items.
Try talking to them when you have a chance.

I love this game so much. At first it just seems like a cute relaxing game to decorate rooms for cats, but as you go on the cats "remember" things about their back stories and you get to know them and it becomes really emotional and touching. Highly recommend, the music is relaxing and I love the vintage aesthetic of the graphics and it takes a bit of time to save up gems to buy more cats but it's very worth the time and effort.

Very simple, very slow moving game. I've been playing it for over a month & still only have two cats. Of course, one could advance w iaps to go faster. I keep playing as I can see this game has potential. I enjoy the graphics as well. The button choices on the side of the screen aren't well explained, nor is much of anything else in the game. It isn't too hard to figure it out on your own though.

So simple, yet charming. There's a lot of attention to detail with the cats' characteristics and comments. I love unlocking all their memories and hearing more about their stories even though they are quite sad. The art and interface is wonderful, I love the music and sound effects too! Very relaxing game. Gems are a bit expensive but it gives me reason to keep playing and achieving goals to get gems.

When I first downloaded this app, I found it a bit boring (there's not a lot of action and progression takes time). I figured I'd uninstall it by the end of the day. Boy, was I wrong. Something about the pretty art style and relaxing nature of this game kept me coming back. I LOVE IT! I check on my cats every few hours. I'd recommend this game to anyone! The only thing I wish there was is a game guide. When can I unlock cat #2? Things like that!

Getting premium room items and unlocking all the cats will take a long time as a free player, but even so, it doesn't lessen the experience. It's really casual and relaxing to play. It doesn't demand of anything from the players, it's simply the type of game to check on cute cats in your spare time. Each cat also has interesting backstories and personalities, it's just wonderful.

This game has so much potential. The music is good, the cats have personality, the art style is nice and gives a relaxing feel to it, etc. Except, there's not much to do. You buy a few things read a memo, work, and leave the game for awhile until you earn 4,000 coins and can buy barely anything good. I wish there were at least mini games or a tap mechanic to help you get coins and entertain you while your jobs are completed.

A beautiful and soothing stress-free game that requires no time commitment or grinding, yet keeps you checking in to follow each cat's story and the sweet anecdotes of their lives. Perfect for those with busy schedules, interactions are only necessary every few hours and take just a few minutes at a time. I love the calming music and the cute, funny, and at times moving stories and conversations with the cats. I just wish there weren't so many typos!

very cute game. no need to waste hours on it each day, just log in for a good 5 minutes each day (maybe twice a day) to feed your cats and talk to them. ads are totally optional. getting new cats at the start is a bit slow, but you'll get more eventually. besides, i think the in-app purchases are pretty fairly priced :]! i really recommend the game to people that like cats (and also those who have a little bit of patience...)

It's a cute game! There are a few small bugs (like not being able to read all the text for certain things) but nothing that ruins the gameplay. The cats all have their own personalities and memories, and they're all adorable. I didn't find it difficult to unlock the second cat, and at the moment I have 2. I check in on them every few hours, and there's always something waiting for me! The only thing I would change is having the cat's relationships stay consistent, instead of constantly changing

I really love this game! It's extremely cute and even though it does have a low amount of things to do I love it because it only takes up a small amount of time. I would really love to see some features implemented: - Being able to pet your cats or tapping them causes them to move/respond. - Being able to pay diamonds on treats or something to make some of the cats appear (like the ads and the cat god.) - Maybe being able to customize your cat a little? Maybe being able to buy them collars.

its a very cute game with super great story. i really like their story and enjoy every bit of it. but i wish that the cat can be touched and i can do some interaction...9 items is a bit too less as sometimes i need to buy food i gotta wait for too long. it would be good if the items can be more in one slot or make the waiting time less than 35s? thanks for bringing us a great game.

A very atmospheric and relaxing game thanks to the fantastic watercolor style graphics. The dialog and stories unlocked with every level are also very well written. Tip: Unlock Bbeauty early as she's a charming easygoing cat who loves any food. Real trainwreck of a name haha but it grew on me after reading her story. As for the drawbacks of the game, the biggest is that you don't actually interact much with your cats. Mini games incorporating the toy supplies would be my suggestion. I also hope they'll have some seasonal events or storylines or the game would get stale quick. It's also really slow going to collect diamonds, which are required for unlocking new cats and purchasing most of the interesting items. The devs do have to make money tho so I'm alright with that. Overall, this is a lovely game with a lot of heart and charm.

I love them game. All of the cats are adorable, and you can customize the rooms for each cats a lot. There's also lots of different things to feed the cats and each cat has their own back story. The only thing I dislike is the cost to buy a new cat. It's very difficult to get 100 gems without spending real money. I had the game for over 3 months before I was able to buy another cat. Now I have 3 adorable cats, but I wish I could get more in less time.

Be warned - the storyline to this game is bittersweet in the "cry your face off" kind of way. (Let's just say "To get to Meow Town you have to cross a beautiful rainbow bridge.") Still, it's very good and I would definitely recommend it. Also, for the people saying it's hard to get enough diamonds for more cats...It's not. Watch the ads and use toys consistently! You'll wind up with a new cat around when you finish the last one's story. It's slow, but well paced. The game overall is like that.

Overall it's a cute game and I like the illustrations. But there's nothing much to do after reaching level 13 for the first cat. We will have to spend real money to buy gems to unlock the other cats to progress further in the game. Would really appreciate if there were other options (e.g. in-game achievements/missions) to unlock the other cats without needing to spend real money to buy gems.

The graphics are stiff though stylised enough to pass as the art style of the game. The number of options to earn money is very limited- through "part-time work". You send your person to work 3 jobs for 2 hours and come back with around $1000+. This makes the game experience boring (though understandably an idle game). Unlocking new cats will take forever since you need the special ver of the ingame cash to buy them a.k.a. you need to spend money to get them.

I did enjoy this game, and though I don't like having to 'grind' for gems to get a new cat, it was good! I do recommend maybe lowering the price to buy a new cat. A problem I'm having is that the game is suddenly and constantly crashing. It basically just kicks me out and says that the app stopped. I would appreciate it if you fixed it.

Sus. L. May 31, 2019

Pros: The graphic is really good, the music is pleasant and all cats look so cute. With some patience you can learn more and more about your cats. Cons: slow pace, even as an addle game. Most of time you have to wait. It would be more fun if you have more options to interact with the cat. It‘s a pity the cats in this game do not even meow.

So cute, the art is amazing, the music is beautiful and overall a very relaxing and charming game. My only complaint is that there is so much that you need gems/diamonds for and they are so difficult to obtain and it makes progression very slow :(

This game is amazing, although it does have a steep learning curve at first. However, I contacted the developers, and they are helpful and responsive. (Sorry I left a bad review at first.) This game has longevity. I've unlocked everything, but keep playing, and today they just released new content! Super thrilled, thank you! Recommended!

I'm really enjoying this game so far. My one complaint is that I wish there was a way to turn the game volume down without turning it off completely. I enjoy the music, but it can be quite loud, even if you have your universal volume turned down, or worse, you turn your sound up while listening to a podcast or something, and then check this game and get your eardrums blasted.

The art is pretty great and I like decorating. As others have said, you do not get the "diamonds" to get the next cat. You just don't. Without cats and rooms to decorate, there is absolutely nothing to do. I'd have no problem supporting the devs and making purchases, if I could actually spend those "diamonds" on the pretty furniture they spent time designing. I'm going to continue to play for now, but if you don't make it possible to get new cats, I absolutely will lose interest.

Not a bad app. Cute. Fun. A few suggestions: 1) increase the number of paws the jobs give you as your level increases. Since you have to pay for level increases with higher #s of paws, it would be fair to get more 2) make paws and hearts available for purchase, not just gems 3) make the refresh for the store longer. The 60 second limit is too short of a turnaround, given how long all of the jobs take and how little time you have to choose one item to keep 4) make the next cat less expensive

The controls might have overwhelmed me at the start but I found my way around it in a nick of time. It's a fun relaxing game I love it. I play it casually when I have the time. It can be addicting, leading one to spend atleast 3-4 hours.

Rub. R. Mar 28, 2020

I love this game... I thought it'd be too slow since there isn't much "gameplay," but the charm completely won me over. The art is amazing. The music is also incredibly soothing. The pace of the game is slow, but it's gratifying to slowly learn more about the kitties you're carrying for. As many others have said, the stories are bittersweet... I honestly was not prepared for the overarching theme of The Cat's Meow Town. All the game elements make sense once you realize what's going on. 5/5 ; _ ;
