Unnecessarily cumbersome. The ticketing side is a nightmare to switch phones or have multiple tickets. The ground staff have totally different advice to that given via emails & online. My brother & his wife missed a big chunk of play queing to get their tickets sorted after they had followed to the letter the instructions given for multiple tickets. There was a very long queue of disgruntled people with the same problem. Other events have scannable PDFs to store, move, or print with no problems.

I have opened up the 2022 Wimbledon App and it won't even let me into the App. Can you advise as I have purchased tickets and need to have it working So I can secure my tickets

I appreciate how hard ii must be to create an app for a tennis tournament, there's a lot of date to get through and display it in a sensible fashion to the end user. Unfortunately, this app misses the mark by a country mile. It's not easy to follow your favorited players or countries. Whilst the benefits of registering are touted, there's no sync of preferences between an app and desktop. One other thing, why do we still see countdown clock to the tournament when it has obviously started?

The worst app out of four big tournament apps. The user interface is terrible. You scroll current matches horizontally instead of vertically which would make more sense. The scrolling needs to be so precise because if not you can easily over do it and go too far. Too many issues to list here. There are some good things too, like match statistics. After so many iterations this app should be perfect by now but it seems like they are reinventing the wheel again. Crashes. Very disappointing.

It works well to stay on top of the scores, but I have two issues. First, the app should let you disable vibration when getting notified; it doesn't. Let the user decide if they want their phone to vibrate. Second, it resets the list of players to the beginning after you add one as a favorite, so it gets annoying when dealing with a long list. I'll update my review if those issues are addressed.

App updates so much that you can't access a section properly. All scores are not maintained, only matches still running. If I want to see order of play or a particular score, I use Google search, it's easier and less frustrating. The outstanding question is year after year these issues remain. Just might be time to place the app into the hands of someone with an actual brain. The only thing this is good for is the news and some videos.

It would be nice to navigate from, say, the draw directly to a match at a touch but, no! We wouldn't want navigating to be easy! Annoying design. I was hoping it would be better than just using the ESPN app and scrolling to tennis. It isn't. Sadly disappointed. And you couldn't just call it Wimbledon and make it easy to find, could you?

Awful app. Not only is rather difficult to navigate, check scores, players, stats, etc., if you manage to have tickets and go to Wimbledon, you might find yourself suddenly logged out of the app, with no access to your ticket and simply not able to enter or re-enter the venue or the court. It happened to me and it happened to tens of people I've seen fiddling with their phone, trying to kill and restart the app several times to be able to go back to their seats. Really poor.

disappointing. i am sure the slam apps actually get worse each year. woeful highlights - don't appear to be chosen or edited by people who are actual tennis fans... showing only the final shots of an epic rally, for example, rather misses the point, and why is a set point a highlight if it is a run of the mill point? scores and stats often stop updating and get out of sync - flashscore is much more complete and reliable. have you let interns loose on this project?

It a bit to navigate in the beginning, and loading is aweful. Too much work goes in to make it looks good but didn't pay enough attention on functionality. The worse part is, notifications. It pushes random notification. I have selected player notification and it sends me everyone else but the fav players. And what's even worse, turning off notifications, all of them, still getting push notifications. Only way to stop notifications is to block the app from notifications, but what's the purpose?

Is it just me mis-remembering but I thought this app used to sit happily on my sd card. Apparently no longer. It's caused havoc with the already limited storage space on my galaxy a3. Having it open with a message saying nothing ous going on every time is also very annoying. Not all changes are good - it used to be a really useful app but I'll think twice about downloading it next year - as I need to uninstall it now as it's no longer on the card.

This app is a mess. Trying to find today's finished matches is a royal pain in the neck. If you go to scores. You only get live scores. To find completed matches you have to go to draws. And it doesn't separate between days. In years past it was easier to find the days matches. Almost tempted to uninstall. Maybe there is better features if you are in London. But this is sad in the U. S.

App stuck in loop. Installed a few days ago and used app briefly and now when launched it says I need to upgrade the app. Only option is close app or upgrade. When I click upgrade, it takes me to the app store but only shows "Open App" because I have the latest version. So now I can't even access the app! C'mon Wimbledon, you can do better than this. You've had 700+ days since the last tournament to fix this. Look at this year's French Open app as an example. That is how it's done.

It's so outdated, very annoying with screen constantly updating/flashing and throwing you off the place you are looking at. No way to filter results by event section. Are we suppose to scroll through all the results when we want to check men's section? Hard to find result you are looking for. Players are missing from players profiles. There is no Nick Kyrgios in there?! Take a clue from Roland Garros app although it's not perfect either.

I am really disappointed on how Wimbledon handles the ticketing system. Unable to communicate with anyone, tried to cancel my both tickets on MyWimbledon app, cancellation is pending for only one of the tickets (unable to cancel the 2nd one), sent an email to AELTC, no reply, phoned them countless times, no answer. I am really annoyed and frustrated.

I like the app because you can choose your favourite country and players. My problem is when you get notifications and you tap it, the only thing that happens it goes to the home page of the app. It should actually go into the results of the match.

Chr. N. Jul 4, 2021

When the app is working, it does the job (in a VERY British way). The problem is that it auto crashes whenever there are no live matches, rendering it useless to find all of the scores you missed while sleeping. Ridiculous!!!

SRI. A. V. Jul 3, 2021

Worst grandslam app. Crashes everytime I open it. Too difficult to find the scores of matches competed on a particular day. Only way is to look at the order of play and that refreshes every minute making us scroll all the way down again.

Ali. O. Jul 1, 2021

App has one major issue for me. If you are in the order of play section it just randomly refreshes and takes you to the top of the page which means you have to start to scroll down to try work out who is playing again. Just as you get close to say court 6 order of play, the app refreshes and you are back at centre. Otherwise a good app

sim. b. Jul 1, 2021

Rubbish. It's difficult to find scores, and the damn app keeps auto scrolling back to the top. Surely this is the main functionality. I am able to see (e.g) all ladies singles 2nd round results easily.

Chr. B. Jul 2, 2021

In previous years this app has been brilliant but it is endlessly glitchy this year. Hardly any stats on the players. Really hard to navigate results and order of play as it keeps resetting to the top of the list.

Bri. M. Jul 1, 2019

its a good app but the registration is too much. i agree to access a banking app you need a really secure password but all this upper case, lower case., numbers, special characters and minnimum of 8 characters for what essentially is a news app containing no persoal data is a bit much.

Jan. R. Jun 29, 2021

Frustrating - when I'm looking through the order of play it keeps updating and going back to the top of the page. Very very frustrating. Would have given it 1 star but there are some redeeming features

Sri. N. Jul 3, 2021

The app was not a great one to begin with. But lately it doesn't even open and keeps crashing. Didn't expect this from an app for one of the grandslam tournaments. I have resigned to using Google to follow the scores.

Pau. f. T. Jun 30, 2021

Easily the worst app of all Grand Slams. Slow and sluggish, the worst part is under Order Of Play it updates while scrolling to see all the matches and resets to the top and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Useless.

A. B. Jul 3, 2021

Not great - information searched for doesn't seem to be in the right place, the app doesn't respond when there are no matches on and you would like to consult yesterday's results ( for example), in fact, it disconnects.

Jen. Y. L. Jul 3, 2021

am adding to the feedback that the app now cannot start at all despite typical efforts (restarting app/phone, reinstalling...etc), which is surprising for an app for a grand slam event (first time experiencing it for any of the 4 apps for grand slams). this began 2nd Jul. And looks to be consistent with recent feedback on this app.
