The app is slow to respond and won't allow me to apply my reward points to an order. It is time-consuming and cumbersome to use. It is easy to use/understand... Just so slow that you think it isn't going to go to the next page each time you scroll through products, both on wi-fi and using data. Frustrating.
Your app is terrible! It has a horrible lag! And other issues: I had to submit an order 6 different times and the next time I tried to get back in to try again, my cart was empty and I had to re-add everything again. Then I went through the same thing AGAIN! Please fix this or I will spend my money somewhere else!
The app lags so much. The icon doesn't show up on my phone so the only way to open it is by searching for it in the app store. After restarting my phone and trying again, all the issues were still there, and the items in my cart were doubled. I struggled through the checkout. The app is nice for applying coupons and switching between stores, but I'll probably stick to the website.
This is the worst shopping app I've ever had them misfortune to use. It is so slow, I just spent over 20 minutes checking out, waiting for the screen to respond. I like shopping here, but I just really cannot say enough bad things about the lack of responsiveness of this app. It's not just the app, but orders from these bozos routinely take a month or longer to even ship - they may have a tracking number the next day, but the package might not actually go out anytime soon.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Incredibly glitchy and slow. Every click is super delayed. Also, I put like 10 things in "my bag." I clicked on "my bag." The stuff was there for like 3 seconds. And then I got an error message saying I have nothing in my bag. Everything just deleted. I am not going to go through and refinding all the stuff I already put in it. Especially because it was already so slow to find everything the first time. Worst app ever.
App is okay. I love shopping here and I use it everyday but it does freeze a bit. Since the new update it won't put the items from lowest-priced to highest or vice versa. Its a pain but I continue to use it so I won't complain to much. UPDATED - App is now works alot better. It is still a little glitchy at times but for the most part works well.
The app is unbelievably slow. Takes a long time to load images, sort, add favorites. Won't apply coupons that are listed on my account. Every order I try to place through the app gets cancelled but when I order through the web browser it goes through.
This new update is horrible. It took me a week to get my order to go through. I missed out on points and the selection I wanted. In addition when I went back o revisit the cart it selected 3 items 8 times and that took an hour to correct.
When the app works, it's GREAT... HOWEVER it rarely does. The biggest complaint I have is the lagging. Drives me crazy! Otherwise the idea and set up of this app was a good one.
Keeps saying to update ,when I click that it goes to open,when I click that it says update..... Previously, the app freezes while you scroll or try to select items and they make it very difficult for you to access your acct to pay . This review was left in 2021. Update, it's 2022 and it's still doing it
The app is extremely slow. It crashed twice on me. Update, 5/2022. The app is still very slow. It took 5 different times trying to get it to accept the expiration date for my credit card...
Ever since I found the app , it has been a much better experience. I know it is work in progress and things aren't perfect. However I find it working just fine for me with very few glitches. 4/9/2022, the last few times I've used the app I've found that after scrolling through on a Samsung note 20 ultra and S22 ultra the scrolling freezes up and have to reboot the app. Not sure if this is a Samsung issue or children's place issue. Am reporting to both companies. Still a very good app
The worst part is that the app lags SO bad. It makes me just want to find a couple things versus browsing the whole website. While checking out it took about 10 minutes because it wouldn't load my information.
I recently started shopping with this company and I must say I love the quality of the clothes. You get a tons of clothes at an affordable price when they are on sale. However the app can be very slow unfortunately. I still highly recommend to shop here
Updated: the app for Android is awful. Everything takes forever, and trying to submit two orders this week, the so won't even let you cick on "submit order ". So they update says it improves the checkout experience is not trueÈxtremely frustrating! However i do still Love this store, amazing values on kids clothes! Shipping times have recently become quicker- yay! The web app for phone is frustratingly slow though, prefer to use desktop. Can't say enough about the great prices!! Save big $$$$
The app freezes a lot. I had to close the app and open it 3 times to be able to place my order. When scrolling through categories when you get towards the bottom it begins to freeze.
The app is very slow and freezes. The website is better but slow too. Both need major improvement in terms of functionality and compatibility with mobile devices and browsers.
I love this store, I love shopping here. But I would do more shopping if the app would work better. It's always freezing up. Today it epmty things out of my cart had to go back and reorder them. So I'm only giving 4 star's instead of 5. But I did run across some good deals.
Everytime there's an update i have to go through so much just to make a purchase. It's really time consuming to make a purchase. I finally made a purchase after 30 minutes. I wish the updates actually improved things rather than make things worse.
Slowest app ever. It's very difficult to search anything and takes so long that it's easier just to shop somewhere else. Originally I was browsing in my web browser and it offered me the app, when I downloaded I had to go look for everything in my cart again in the app. There are definitely places they could improve.
The look and organization of the app is great. I can find what I need with no problem. The operation is slow and clunky. I find myself spending way more time in the app than I want to. I often get frustrated shopping, saving things for later and getting down to the few items I want to order, and end up giving up and not placing an order. The process for saving for later SUCKS. It's slow. I don't want to wait on the app to do things. Life is busy. Speed is important. Improve cart functions please
I usually shop in store but today decided to download the app. Prices are amazing as always... But the app crashes so much it's ridiculous. When trying to add stuff to your cart look at something or even check out the app crashed every few minutes. Other than that the app is perfect. I really hope they get this issue fixed soon or I'm just going to have to keep shopping in store
Every time I've tried using my rewards it locks out. I can never log back on till after 12 am when coupon expires. Its Not easy to pay your credit card bill. You always have to manually type in your credit card number you want to pay on ( when it should be saved if you're on your account. ) Worst card app I've ever dealt with. Really thinking about canceling credit with them altogether cause how poor all of the experience has been.
Update-still love this app love the cloths been shopping here for years. App has improved big time YAY!!! My only issue now is that it logged me out and now I can't sign back in. Please fix. IL change 1 star now. Use to love love love this app until the last update. Do something about the crash. I know you can see others complaining as well. FIX IT.. this app was too good for such a horrible update that causes random crashes. Once it's fix I'll be back with a 5 star review.
Quality Clothes, Shoes, Sleepers & Accessories. The sales are great. I like shopping for my Great Grandbabies! I have no problems with the App, my items dosen't take long to get to my address. I've bought a lot of items from Children's Place, Gymboree, Sugar and Jade. I love their items!
App is so incredibly slow. Often closes out or empties your cart. Checkout takes forever. It takes minutes between each change before the app catches up
I love the children's place but the app along with the website is atrocious. A tree grows faster than this app goes. I just placed an order and it literally took days to complete because the app is so slow an checking out was worse. I suggest yall fix it fast because not everyone will be as patient as i was and you will lose money from people tired of struggling and just giving up. I've called in about this issue before and it was going slow for them too When the problem is resolved i rate high
Good quality clothes, very affordable too. Large amount of selections to choose from. Even have full outfits to order. Flip flops are good quality. Fun t's for children. Swim trunks long in the leg area is great for tall boys. Delivery was as expected. Thank children's Palace, you have a new customer 😀
One of the only places I can shop for my children. However, today I updated the app, started shopping, the app crashed and told me I needed to upload again and it was already moving slow but now idk. I uninstalled the app and now it won't install!!! It gets to 77% and stops!!! I've turned my phone off and other things but it won't install.
I don't seem to have the speed issues others have had. The app works pretty well on my phone (1.5yr old android based phone). It did not receive 5 stars because the prices, I find, are glitchy. For a few items, I will select it at one price, put in my kids' size without issue, but as soon as it is added to my cart, it comes up as a different cost (about $10 more). I tried to reach out with no response at this point.
