The Clock: Alarm Clock, Timer & Stopwatch Free

I love how you can specify what date you'd like to set an alarm for. Not enough apps have that. However, if you set multiple alarms for different dates but with the same time (e.g., 2:30 PM), then they'll just show up in a random order. It doesn't sort them chronologically, even though it's supposed to according to my settings. If this bug was fixed, I'd give it five stars.

Cool app, got the Premium Gold. Just a few bugs, like sometimes the clock when it auto darkens shows the seconds or the "am/pm" but it goes away. None of the minor bugs are a real issue and there are so many cool things like widgets, themes, etc packed into this app that it's worth paying for (though $20 is a bit much). You can customize the font, font size, font color. I do wish there were more font color options though. Also, it would be cool if there were more analog clocks with dark faces.

Paid version. A Gold Premium. I have had issues with it's functions and the developer is working to investigate. Regardless of issues, the design is very esthetic and functions are easy to use. I am revising the rating because the customer service is very swift and prompt, and also sincere. Look forward to seeing improvements on the app.

I was looking for an alarm app. I got an app that gives you a notification about an alarm, which you can snooze, but no actual alarm screen that you can turn the alarm off with. I'm about to uninstall because I actually can't work out how to stop it going off again at the next snooze... This is not a category of fail that had even occurred to me, so two stars for originality?

After the most recent update there's an alarm going off that isn't even set. Prior to updating it was an alarm time I had set before, but it's not active and the inactive ones aren't even set to that time anymore. Been using this app for several years at this point but as with most apps, the more they update and "add features" the less the app works correctly. How unfortunate.

I really liked the app, but had to stop using it. The programming is too complicated and you can't depend on it. The app is programmed to get snoozed automatically once you tap on home button, back button or volume buttons. Whenever app gets moved in the background, sound stops and app gets snoozed. Some other apps have permission to “display over other apps” and they appear while an alarm is going off. You can easily snooze accidently so that you can't depend on it going off.

Better than other clock apps, but the feature to move the screensaver clock around on the screen stopped working recently, so it can't be safely used on OLED screens. Luckily my tablet that I use as a bedside clock is LCD so the risk of burn-in is low, or the sudden breaking of this feature might have damaged it. Also, they occasionally send me spammy notifications to upgrade to premium even though I already have premium.

2 stars because it meets the customization specifications I need in setting an alarm but sometimes I hit dismiss too quickly it JUST KEEPS GOING. I will close every app I have open and it keeps on ringing. I have had to restart my phone to stop it. I've also had times where I'm 110% certain I've swiped dismiss and 5 minutes later the alarm starts up again.

This used to be a great clock app. Did exactly what I needed, used it for everything from alarms to cooking timers, and on and on. So, why the two stars? Because since about 6 or so months ago, it spams me about "premium mode" at least once a week. Have you considered premium? Did we tell you about premium? You know there's a premium mode? And on and on and on, with no way to stop it other than to, you guessed it, pay for premium. So, as soon as I find another app, it's gone.

Although I paid (owners know me as I have email many times regarding problems) only to suggest and update the app. I truly loved). I am presently looking for an other alarm clock app. because it keeps deleting very important alarms I took a long time setting. Its also duplicating alarms that already exist. I don't recommend this app. if, you're willing to keep an eye on it at all times and ready to see that one of your alarms has been deleted without you doing it. Hoping to find a better one?

Buggy app... There are several issues and i am unable to determine all of them or the sequence of actions that reproduces them but here are a few . If you add 2 alarms at exactly the same trigger time ... only one shows up . If you reactivate an alarm that was already triggerd the app triggers the next scheduled alarm . Sometimes alarms are deleted for no apparent reason . Sometimes alarms are duplicated for no apparent readon Because i tried this app as a personal teminder ... to be continued

Android system updated. This app stopped working. Uninstalled reinstalled. Fixed. Works again. If any app on android stops working, you should try a complete uninstall of app, restart phone (or off then on), then install app again. Fixes many app problems. Note to developer: you should find a way to auto export/save alarms, timers, etc AND put an uninstall command before installing and then import those saved bits back into the clock - so that each app update fixes any android issues.

I have several alarms set and since the recent changes now all of a sudden not all my alarms are working and one of which is my alarm for work. If this doesn't get fixed asap I'll fix this myself by uninstalling the app.

When I was trialling this app I was really pleased with it and easy to use. So I purchased a Silver subscription, mostly to get rid of the constant stream of ads. The app then started to malfunction in several ways and I was still getting ad requests to now upgrade to Gold subscription. I have also received a lot of spam messages but not sure if that has anything to do with this app. Google upgraded its Clock app and it now works perfectly, and simple and easy to use .. and no ads or subscription requests. Deleted The Clock app yesterday after I received another ad request to upgrade my subscription to Gold. For me, this app was a waste of money.

Great app. Non intrusive ads. Only thing is I'm not 100% sure the alarms work if the app isn't running in the background, might need a rooted phone for that? Otherwise, amazing selection of customisations for tunes, snoozes, and wake up problem solving.

I really want to like the app and replace my default clock app. Was hoping for an update that would finally fixe the awkard lag on the opening screen (3 seconds of a logo when you want to put a timer feels... Eh?). I saw it mentioned you also got a new icon. Sadly the opening lag is still there, but the new icon is a... Slight eyesore. Maybe revert, or get rid of the silver border? It's slightly contradicting to the rest of logo design.

So far so good but I have not had a chance to really use it much. I used it for quite a while and it was working great but now all of a sudden when I set the timer it won't ring. And it closes out the app and takes me back to the desktop so I can't even glance at it and see if it's almost up. Now it may very well be operator error and I'm doing something wrong, but I sure don't know what.

It doesn't work reliably in Android 11/12. The timer gets delayed up to 1 minute. It's better in Android 10, but there is still some delay. For alarms, I switched to the Samsung default clock app, which works better.

For those who have time freeze, alarm and timer don't go off issues. Pls allow autostart on your settings as well set the battery saver to no restrictions. This will most probably solve the problems. 4 stars for the review due to too frequent of ads pop up in the latest update

After the latest update my alarms are malfunctioning. I have a 10am alarm set for mon-fri with a 10min snooze time. I also have a 10am sat-sun alarm with a 30min snooze time. Today, Friday, it played my Saturday alarm, which they have different sounds, I hit snooze then woke up in a panic 14min later as my brain caught up to "hey its Friday, that was your Saturday music". Other then this I have loved this app, so much better then stock alarm, for the one feature of an increasing volume alarm.

This app is so much better for my Moto G stylus android. It actually works! And gets me up every time. I wish this was the default clock for my phone cause my default (Google clock) doesn't ever work. Not once. So yeah I love this one. So far no problems with it.

I have premium gold and it worked great for a week, then started malfunctioning. When I select an option on the top bar (cloc k, alarm, timer, stopwatch) at least half the time I get a blank screen that is unresponsive. I initially gave this a 5 star rating, but give the problems with it now, am changing to a 2. I need it to work all of the time not half of the time.

Every time I open the app, a banner message pops up requesting users to "Give your app 5 Stars" but there's no X on the page to close it. It's very hard to make it to go away. When I need to set an alarm quickly, this is very annoying, especially if you want people to give you five stars! This makes them want to give substantially less stars because it feels very intrusive. If you're going to continue to have this pop up every time at least have a distinctive X to close the message easily!

This app would be great if not for the ads causing it not to work. Multiple times now my alarm has not gone off because of the full screen ad to upgrade to premium. There is 0% chance of me paying $23 for this app. I miss the days of apps being appropriately priced. Guess it's time to find a new alarm. It's as if they are extorting you, either pay or we're gonna make you late for work. Don't offer a free version if you don't want people using the free version.

Since the most recent update on Dec 15, 2021, the timer no longer is audible if the screen is off or the app isn't the current used app. This is very frustrating since I rely on timers for many things. I paid for the premium subscription and feel that I should have an app the works the way it's supposed to work. Thankfully the regular alarm works properly.

I'm going to rate this app poorly just because of the notification spam the app constantly bothers me with. At least once a week, the app gives me a "special discount that only works today", which is a scummy sales tactic that should be discouraged. Use literally any other app from a less greedy, desperate developer.
