The app had been unusable for 3 + days. I contacted their tech department,after they reached out on playstore. The new update was not functional with older android systems. They were very quick to communicate with me. They built a beta version app of sorts for me to try in the interim. It worked! The new version that works with old systems like the older version used to went live. They're on top of it! Thanks,love the app. Glad that noone else with an older phone will have the issue now.

Coffeebean, overall ranks number 1 over their competitors in their coffee beverages, rather they be hot 🔥, iced 🧊 or frozen. Unfortunately, their overall experience falls short of a perfect score, in my opinion. App is poorly designed. One main reason; the fact you have to buy a gift card then use that to pay for your order is to much. All dynamics of the app should be quick, easy and convenient.

UPDATE 9/29/2021: Ever since a recent update I have not been able to log into my account despite resetting password multiple times. So I've been using the app for a few years now and never had any issues. Just recently it logged me out and I have not been able to get back onto my account. I tried resetting my password but it won't even send me an email to reset. Just goes back to the log in page.Not too sure what's going on but would love to be able to use the app again.

This app always gives me issues. I can't pay inside with my phone because the card that has a balance is not set as my "preferred" card, but when I try to set it as my preferred card I get an error message. Same thing if I try to merge the balances or delete the card that has no balance. Basically, I can't do anything without getting an error message. I thought maybe updating the app would fix it, but nope. So I always have a remaining balance that I can't use.

This app is terrible, and the customer assistance is even worse! A week ago the app sent me HUNDREDS of notifications, all evening long. I couldn't stop it, nothing worked, so I uninstalled it (notifications continued even after the uninstall, which had to be done TWICE!!) Yesterday I tried to log in, with google so I know the creds were correct, and it wouldn't accept them. Changed passwords, 8 or 9 times, nothing worked. So basically, the app is useless AND it stole my balance.

I created an account with a random password but forgot to save it. I logged out to reset my password with something I know and keep getting errors. I even get errors when doing it via a browser. Says I "don't have permission to access /customers/password on this server." So now I can't use the app. I submitted a ticket and still haven't heard back from them. CBTL:0035021

Same story as all the other recent reviews on here. The app logged me out all by itself and when I try to log back in or even hit the reset password button, all it does is refresh the log in page. And despite all these reviews enumerating this problem, the developers' only response is "We fixed the issue" until another two weeks or so go by and the problem occurs again and receives the same lame response. To the developers: fix the issue PERMANENTLY! Not just for a week or two, but never again!

4 months later, 3 emails sent to support and I still can't use the app. I still haven' received an acknowledgement or a reply which a joke. I guess you don't want my business after all. Can't log in using s20 +. I enter my username and password but I keep getting an error saying I need to enter my first and last name when there isn't an option. I know I'm entering my credentials correctly as I did it online and it worked.

Loaded $25.00 to gift card on this app, my bank account was charged but money never showed up on the card. Can't get in touch with no one from the coffee bean , only way is to fill out some customer experience form. I've got automated no-reply confirmation email and that's all. Did it twice and no one is getting back to me to resolve this issue. It's been already 6 days since this happened. Called some 877 number and same thing, it's automated and no option to talk to someone.

I like their coffee and drinks but the down fall is in order to get to a reward you have to spend $50 and then its only there for a while. I hope they change the reward system. Very slow to gain one reward. Honestly at this point I have not reached even one reward, and I had the app since January. Slow reward system, but drinks are good for those that go there daily, which is not me.

I've had multiple delivery orders with missing items , and it is such a hassle to get a refund for those things, you have to call the stores and speak to someone , but not everyone knows how to do it , so I had to call back on other days , in the end I had to reorder my drinks because people in my family were missing theirs, I ordered thru Postmates , so I ended up paying $26 for 2 drinks on there, and the amount they refunded me from this app was only $15 , so I ended up losing money

Please explain to me why I cannot use my debit card to tip? I can make payments with it, add it, but on the tip screen my debit card vanishes. I have the option to add it again (and it also says now supporting Google Pay) but it never shows up. The only time I can use it is when I want to purchase a drink.

I love this! You can order drinks without a middle man and you get points that are actually worth something! They also have daily coupons that can get you $5 off just buying one drink or even a FREE!!! The AP is so easy, clear, and simple! Although you can't hook up your card info to be able to pay, you have to upload a gift card and put money in that.

If you frequent Coffee Bean as I do, this app makes it very quick and easy to pay, and it saves money, too. You create a virtual card on which you can load money from your bank card, then you pull up a QR code to pay for your purchases. By paying with the app, you get free drinks, etc., and it happens quickly, no waiting for months to get a reward. Kudos!

This app is unnecessarily complicated. In order to purchase anything you have to buy a gift card...for yourself...and add money to it, seemingly to encourage you to spend more. It's also not very intuitive. I have no idea how to use the rewards points. Thought I used it, but was charged the full amount.

I love Coffee Bean, it is my number one choice for coffee houses. I wanted to use the app to build up rewards and continue to support the business while earning something in return, but I can't even get past the email verification, and whenever I hit send again I get no email still. I hope they change the app soon or fix it.

Such a BAD app! So so bad! Coffee drinks are very difficult to order. And then once you find what you want ... IF you can find it, making alterations is a pain. Even though I like coffee bean more, I can't even tell you how many times I just canceled my order and went to Star... instead because it was too damn frustrating.

Since the update this app has been crashing my phone. Half the time when I open it my entire phone screen goes black and then I can't even back out of it. It shouldn't be this difficult or frustrating to place an order. When I try to add money to the app and it gets stuck in a loop. I can't back out or start over.

It's beyond frustrating how this app prompts to you tip on your last order everytime you open the app - even when you tipped via card on that order. Developer told me how to 'fix' this in response - the issue there is my notifications for that are already turned off. That's why this is frustrating to me.

There hasn't been any updates on being able to mobile order in Hawaii. None of the stores offer it on the app. Also they don't take the QR code payment on the app in stores. I had to manually type the gift card number from the app into the POS terminal. There is no point of reloading the card in the app because I can easily pay manually with out all the hassle. This app is essentially useless if used in Hawaii at this point of time.

App is okay payment method is glitchy. Nice to be able to order ahead. The option to tip on the app should come up immediately during checkout. instead it comes up next time you open the app or at a significant delay making it very inconvenient to tip.

Very difficult to even find what you want to order and then on top of that, you cannot pay on the app with anything except a gift card. In this day and age how can they not except credit card payments on their app? I was so incredulous that I had to ask the cashier when I went in store to order my drink since I was unable to purchase it via the app. She also confirmed that you cannot pay in app with a credit card.
