The Costco Connection

If you expect access to anything other than marketing copy, don't bother installing this app. It's simply a means by which Costco re-purposes content from their Connections magazine. And it takes quite some time for all the nice graphics to download... it must all be dependent on a re-boxed PDF reader cuz the App has to render full pages. One ... at ... a ... time.

I thought this was the store app so i could put my membership card on my phone. I was wrong indeed. This is just another scheme to flaunt advertisements in my face for items I don't use, want or need. It turns out that the Costco app is not compatible with my Android devices. Thus, if i want to use the app, I would be forced to upgrade which is, in my opinion, wasteful since all my devices work perfectly. I shop online with Amazon, Newegg, Safeway, Walmart and several other online retailers and ALL these other companies have Android apps that are compatible with my devices. I can only conclude that Costco doesn't want me spending my money else they too would have a compatible app.

This is complete trash. I love Costco. Every experience is a good one since they first showed up. But this app is embarrassing. I can't get it to work at all. Can't I just have old so back? You need to send your digital programmer back to cart boy.

I like having a digital version of the print magazine. I do wish it had settings for font sizes. I've got a bit of a headache right now after straining to read the articles. Yes, I'm old :-)

I have repeatedly tried to install the Costco Digital Membership Card on Android, and this is the only item that comes up. I don't want this app, just the digital connection app. I deleted it.

This app should not exist. Also, I'm Cancelling my Costco Executive membership: 1) Sam's club has an app that has your member card loaded on it. 2) Sam's club's app allows you to Scan-and-Go. No waiting in line!!! 3) I can place an order on the app for Pick-Up later in store. 4) etc, etc, etc...

Can't get The Cookbooks I am unable to download the cookbooks, and the latest edition of the Connection. It says I am not "authorized" to download some editions. There is no help button, or menu button to help. This is very frustrating as I was really looking forward to reading the cookbooks.

Omg here we go again had the same problem in september 2019. Cant download Costco Wholesale app. On my Android phone again. Not in google play store again. Cant you fix this problem so it doesnt keep happening all the time. I will change my review when problem is fixed.

What's the point? Signs all over the store "Membership Card on your phone." Really? Not! Where's the app then? This ain't it and I don't see one in the list of apps. I guess we're still waiting. Response to response: Ok. Where? It's 9/29 and I still see no Costco Wholesale app.

This is not a store apps where i can shop and go without stading in line for ckeck out. This is a waste of time for our membership. Do something useful, please.

I wanted Costco app as the icon is clear to show up top when I installed it it installed a totally different app and icon the unwanted Costco connection another thing I tried to install bed bath & beyond app and bed bath & beyond essentials app it shows download complete yet it rejects refuses to install both app lying to me my devise is not comparable with this app when my devise is at my hand much more advanced and higher upgraded than the one I had before make sure positive you notify me rea

Love this relaxed and easily accessible option to access your magazine. I am now able to refer to back issues free of storage concerns/space/clutter in my home. Thanks Costco for, yet again, making my life easier. B. Moore

Worst App ever. Its not even an app really. It just contains a Catalog and search. For a multi billion dollar corporation I would be ashamed to even put this app out in public. The person in charge should not be working there.

ALLOW FOR SELF CHECKOUT! Any time I come in the store on a Saturday or Sunday and see a line of customers about 50 people deep, I continue asking myself why Costco has not implemented self scan and checkout via their app, which a main competitor of theirs, Sam's Club, has literally now had in place for years. Please add this feature; your customers will thank you for it.

Just like many others, the app for me on my Android phone only provides a listing of the Costco Connection magazines. Wondering if this issue is affecting only Android phones?

Would be better if we can log into our account and see purchase history etc. And use the app for purchases instead of needing the physical card.

This app gives you access to the Costco Magazines only. I rarely read it so this would not be beneficial to me.

Totally worthless, want to see what is available and to scan for purchases. No good. Waste of time JUNK!

Does not work. I was looking for the app for the membership all this is is the Costco connection book I tried everything I could to find a different Costco app and then nothing comes up

Used to be good. Now, there's nothing in my Library, and Search just says "Loading...Please Wait".

Nice to have the Costco Connection Magazine available on my phone or tablet so I can see what's new at the stores. Not sure about all the haters giving low ratings.

This app is so underdeveloped as to be almost usless. I agree with the previous rater as not having anything to do with membership .

This is their electronic version of the monthly flyer. They have another app for online ordering.

I wanted the Costco app. I was only able to get the Costco connection app. I couldn't care less about Costco connection or it's app

This only has the magazines - which is good but there should be a separate shopping app.

This gives me no option to log in. Only magazines are displayed. No security questions.

Waste of time, "one star" because you can't access and leave feedback otherwise its absolutely -0.
