The Courier Journal Print

I really thought I would have a terrible time with a digital newspaper, but this actually works quite intuitively and is not at all a bad alternative to having a paper in hand.

Very easy to access any issue. I can't see why I stayed with print for so long. Less paper waste to deal with.

I love my Courier! I am older and would much rather have a print copy in my hands, with an entire article on one page. However, I can not afford that luxury except for Sunday. This is my major in depth news. It is very difficult to move to the rest of the story. Also hard to figure out how to change size of print in order to be able to read it. PS do we have an editor/proof reader anymore, prior to print. Misspellings, wrong words? Can't get Friday night sports in? CUT hours?

New update is terrible. I cannot zoom anything manually without it jumping to a bonus section that I don't want to see. Then, there is no option to refuse the bonus section so I must exit the app and reopen it. Same thing if I'm asked if I want to see the "current" edition. Cancel? New edition. Other option is exit. Why are you driving us who still actually read the paper AWAY from the paper (even IF electronically).

It usually works well. The version on my Fire tablet has a button to download edition for offline reading. This version apparently does this automatically, but recently could not find any offline data. The Fire version works well but always has an orange "SEND DEBUG INFO" across the top which blocks some of the screen.

Worked fine until a few weeks ago, now can only download the current edition. Opening the calendar to choose another day results in a list of available papers from different cities, but selecting a publication does nothing. Tried reinstalling with no luck.

worst app I've ever used. It has always been erratic but recent update and addition of the USA Today Bonus Section makes it unusable on my Android device. After years of use it now will not open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail. Contacted Courier-Journal, who promised to fix it but nothing has changed.

Great source for local news!

This app no longer functions. Articles don't display in text when you click in the index or on the graphical display. It stopped working the day USA Today was separated from the local paper (around 1/26/19). It is not working on both my Samsung tablet and S9 phone.

I grew up reading the paper I love being able to experience the papers sort of in the same way I did when I was young. I will always think there is room for good journalism. Love that there are so many features and so many different ways to experience the paper

Although the print edition is under valued vs slick local app options, it is a journal of OUR Louisville. It is a place for local observers with well written complete views. We need to stay informed past the News headline and a paragraph of emply pros . This is why I buy the paper. Hugh from the Highlands

Spent too much time trying to access a readable version of the paper. Couldn't get through all the complications. Maybe I'll try again when I have a LOT more time... maybe not. I'm willing to pay but for what??? And how much???

I like reading the paper every day. I think the app is promoting a green environment. I miss getting the Sunday ads.

the app doesn't open once it is installed. had to uninstall and reinstall to get to the paper. very poor app

freezes up when i choose edition. cannot read. worked fine then quit for no reason.

App began not working on samsung tablet after years of working. uninstalled & redownloaded. No luck.

Very poor app. Everyday it has something new wrong with it. Has gotten worse since addition of US TODAY. Developers need to learn how to Beta Test before releasing to public.

It has been improved recently, and makes reading the paper fun. Where's my coffee?

Too slow and shuts off all the time,im sure thsts by design.

This app has quite a few bugs in it. Really needs to be updated.
