The Daily Caller

I'm a paid subscriber but sometimes when I go to make comments it doesn't recognize that I'm signed in. This has become a constant issue and I've addressed with the techies several times. I'm now uninstalling the app. Sticking with the Daily Wire and Townhall from now on. This is a joke.

I love the content...but the new app, while much faster and sleeker than my old one, closes pages much too easily. I understand that you were trying to make it easier to use, but I have to keep going back to the first page and reopening the article, find where I left off and caaaarefully move down to continue reading. Otherwise, it's wonderful!

App was great for years. Suddenly, when they added full-screen ads, the app mechanics deteriorated to useless. Often when I click on an article, after reading about one screen of content a "Read on" link appears above an ad that loads. I can see and close the ad, then click the "Read on" link. But the link NEVER works. No matter how many times I click the link or restart the app, the "Read on" link never lets me read the rest of the article. FRUSTRATING AND USELESS APP!

Love Daily Caller. Hate the app. The ads jump the screen to the bottom of the article constantly. Can't finish reading an article because the auto-scroll to the ad. Just deleted. Also, when I click on an alert to read the article, I have to go hunt for the article. The alert doesn't take me to the article I was alerted to.

Seriously?!? You release an update on October 16 claiming to fix all the problems from the past with the app. But now the app seems worse than ever. It goes to the App Info page whenever I try to access an article. That's truly annoying and unnecessary. Always having to back-out of the App Info page to read an article is pointless.

Loved the app before. Now when I open am article it either pops up a full page add or jumps straight to the bottom of the page. When I scroll back up, it will jump back down after a few seconds. Kind of hard to read anything, and very frustrating. Galaxy Note 9

i don't do reviews often unless it is really bad or really good. This apps performance falls into the really bad catagory. i love daily caller news and content but the app is terrible. Often Will not open, "read on" links never work, ads constantly popping up, not to mention slow performance. I know they must have very smart people there, I hope those smart people get the message, better yet just have them try to use this app abd then they would understand my frustrations.

Unreadable. Every 5 to 10 seconds articles scroll to the bottom due to an ad. by the time you scroll back up and find where you left off, it happens again. The app also doesn't communicate with the disqus logon, so you can't leave a comment. Incompetent app development. Update: App is still Ad F'd up and unreadable

Stupid ads ruining the app. takes 45 minutes to read an article because the screen jumps to the bottom of the page where the ad is every 10 seconds making it impossible to read anything. oh well I guess I got a good months use out of it before they ruined it. deleting app now.

one extremely irritating issue. everytime you read an article, it will refresh and jump to the bottom of the page. about the time you find your place again, it jumps back to the bottom advert. It's the only issue I have, but its HUGE

Unreadable! This App's content is almost impossible to read because the screen keeps scrolling away from the article that one is reading, redirecting the reader to paid advertising. It is obvious that the developers have not used their own App. As a news App, readers will soon get tired of the App's erratic behavior and simply stop using it or remove it from their device.

Dont waste your time on this app. This app either crashes or the page jumps around so much it is unusable. The sad thing is the Daily caller folks dont care because these compaints have been out here for a long time and they do nothing about it. Well I have done something about it. I have eliminated daily caller from my phone. Why bother when they dont care or are not savvy enough to fix it. Either way I am gone.

I want to like this app. Good articles. But an opened story repeatedly jumps to the bottom of page and I have to keep scrolling back up, making stories frustratingly unreadable. Its like a race to read before I lose my place. Uninstalled and reinstalled but didn't fix problem.

Ok, new version out. It seems every article I click on is for premium subscribers, so that's a waste of time. And I can't seem to sign in on Disqus to comment, so that's a waste of time. Funny that a news site that wants to be taken seriously can't get an app that works.

I understand the need for advertising. However, the new ad policy is ridiculous. Please consider a less intrusive ad policy. This completely ruins the whole experience on your site. And yes, I did take note of certain ads you had before, so you are gaining nothing from me, except the loss of me as a reader.

I definitely appreciate and benefit from the thorough news investigative reporting from the conservative worldview team that is The Daily Caller Foundation (TDCF). The app on Android though needs to address this annoying and time-consuming glitch: my pressing/selecting a news notification rarely takes me directly to that item's detail. I have to scroll past MANY other items before finally finding the sought-for item.

The app provides all the high quality Daily Caller content you would expect, but the advertisements are out of control. Every 30 seconds a new ad is blaring through your speakers even if you muted the last one. I had to uninstall the app unfortunately.

You can't read an article without the app repeatedly jumping to the bottom of the page. Damn frustrating. Not worth the effort and trouble anymore. Seems all the most recent reviews complain about the same issue. I'm uninstalling after this review.

Terrible when an app presents ads every other time you click on a story. The final straw forcing me to uninstall was video ads that play music that can't be stopped for several seconds. Just wanted to catch up on news in bed, then this ad walked up my wife. Terrible choice!

The read more selection is stupid. If I click on a story I obviously want to read it, not have to take an extra step to finish it. Half the time I give up because in trying to hit read more as it bounces around it opens some stupid ad instead.

Content and quality are excellent; but app has bugs which are truly annoying. When accessing app from notifications, the page will open only once and will close when trying to see other news. Fix this bug and you'll have a good app.

what happened? this app used to be great... Now it's just annoying! every time I open up an article it Scrolls to the bottom... Quarter of the way through it Scrolls to the end.... It just keeps scrolling to the end of the article without me touching it. Completely and totally infuriating if it doesn't stop I am deleting this app!
