Outdated interface. It needs a new look, badly. Getting the local news is nice, but the app is really ugly to look at. Failing grade to the developers. And for some reason known only to those developers, phone volume controls are inaccessible with the app open.

App works fine enough to deliver news articles but is filled to the brim with ads that just won't shut the hell up. I get it that print news needs every dollar it can get, but having to put up with very invasive and annoying ads from a news service I subscribe to and pay for is a little much for me.

This app is very frustrating and of very little use to me because it will not allow me to finish reading an article before it blacks everything out! I am a subscriber to the DMN and my email address is in the settings so there should be no reason for this to be happening!! This app needs to be fixed so it can determine subscribers from non-subscribers!!

I cancelled my subscription purely because of how terrible this app is. The tile cards only showed a handful of stories, login information was constantly forgotten, and the user experience was terrible. When cancelling my account I was directed to the epaper app, which holding hope, is only a PDF viewer of the daily paper, not ideal for palm sized news consumption. Disappointed that such a big paper has such a poor digital experience.

I've been a subscriber to the DMN for decades and I use the app whenever I'm traveling. This latest version is extremely buggy. Over half the time it doesn't load. Other times it loads the front page and then won't load any others.

New app seems designed to hide the news from readers. Headlines are cut off, very few stories are shown on the page, images take up too much space on a small screen, can't adjust font size.

App has to many bugs. Every day it can't find me and I have to reset my password. Then when I reset my password it only takes me to my account info and NOT to the content. Then I close app and reopen to get back in and sometimes it immediately can't find me again....so I go to the Washington post and get news for the day. Ive4 called twice and they can't see my problem.

Biased reporting. Reads more like tabloids rather than the city's main newspaper most of the time. Can't really customize the app - it needs work. It would be nice to be able to open directly to the sports section, for example, so I don't have to stomach the trash content dumped on me in the main headlines.

Have not experienced crashes since the newest update. However, still no search feature which everyone asks for. And you went away with the My Feed feature which was useful.

App has worked for me for a long time. Recently, it won't load any stories. The headlines show, but when you click on one to read it, it won't load. This is a recent problem.

Hard to navigate. You can't manage your acct from within the app. Was unable to report a missed delivery - had to go to the website.

Installed this -- twice! -- on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It asks for my credentials and I give them. Then it crashes. Every time. Worthless app on a very common, otherwise stable device.

Not only am I paying a monthly subscription, but I have to deal with ads as well. Please pick one or the other and let me know when you've decided. I won't be renewing my subscription until then.

I subscribed to sevice and can login just fine through website. However, the app does not recognize my credentials. I will be canceling service.

The explore menu is not working . Not anywhere as good , useful or layed out as well as the newspaper .

I really enjoy the app. I just can't find the metro section unless I go to the website and read the e-paper. I also would like the app to support the e-paper.

poorly designed... as many ads presented as stories..... Texas Tribune, Boston Globe, Washington Post, NYT, all better .... even Google News presents content better...... DMN pleas update your app --- from long time subsciber, you can do better!!!!!

Maybe find a way like every other app to keep you from having to constantly log back on. That's incredibly annoying.

using Google news is better than this app because there is no search facility to search for articles nor is there a Ctrl f to find in the page that you're looking at.

I don't often give 5 stars but this app earns it. It requires a subscription, but once again the DMN earns my money for that as well as my despite to support local reporting.

Don't waste your time with this app. DMN or Google Play canceled my 6 month subscription TWICE without notice or permission rendering the app useless. Guess they do not want my money.

This app presents countless stories in a jumbled sequence with poor navigation. Minimally useable.

This is the worst app on my phone. It takes a ridiculously long time to load. Sometimes it does not. Thank goodness I have choices that actually work.

Good news source. It gives me a quick short shot of the need for today and even some updates during the day.

Good reporting. Entertaining. Thoughtful. Fun. Easy to navigate.

Forgets logins constantly- enormously irritating. If I'm paying for a subscription, why am I getting ads?

Excellent App and easy to read and organized very nicely.

There isn't a way to search for specific stories. That's irritating and unhelpful.

I love reading current news and sports on the DMN App!!! It keeps me locked in from Denver, CO...
