The Dark Book: RPG Offline

It's very fun, I've had it for only 2 days and it's super easy to play and addictive when I am bored with nothing to do or honestly to kill time but the only thing is the mini map, I'll click it on and then it won't let me exit out of the map and I have to reset the game. I'd like if it was changed and fixed as I need to see the map whilst navigating throughout the map👍

I have played the game to the end and consider it to be the best RPG game of all that i have played and shall continue to play it and hope a sequel comes out soon.thanks to you M.S.B.

I feel like this game has a potential, but the state it is in now... well, music is short, repetitive and annoying, sound effects could be better, no hit sound, hm. Combat system is kinda disappointing. Also, tried to plug my gamepad, it was recognised, usable, but navigation to and out of the menu was acceptable only by touchscreen. Overall, I gave it a run of about 30 minutes to an hour, feels crude and raw. I hope that it's going to be polished and developed further, become better. And I wish you luck.

I like almost everything about this game. The graphics are good, the combat is balanced, the controls are easy to use, the concept is great, the storyline is fluid and fairly well written save a few typos here and there. The only issue im having is for some reason my spells wont level up anymore. Some are at level 1, some 2, some 4 etc and they arent leveling up no matter how much I use them. Please advise as I like the game and want to help fix any bug that there might be. Great game, good work

Nice to find a free ARPG at this level of quality. The controls, stats, and mechanics were intuitive and easy to use. The problem is I didn't feel like I was progressing (fighting same goblins, using same gear) for more than 30 minutes, or any investment in an objective or character progress. I found I needed to pay crystals to continue the game, and not paying boots you out of the game instead of bringing you to the last save. Nice game, but not *interesting* enough to open the app again.

Needs fine tune, but excellent concept. Skelton hero is great. NPCs are seemless. Old school text quest style requires reading and thinking. Still, the equipment breaks very quickly, and it is a real struggle to replace, repair, and carry enough to replace what you break just to get where you need to go. Equipment repairs are used as a paywall - buy premium unbreakable gear or else the game will be tedious. Mana regen is too slow, spell refresh times too slow. Keep improving, great concept!

Excellent! Good graphics, good story, original plot, and very easy to play. It is a translated game, so be ready for a few errors in english. This game is completely free, not kidding. You don't have to spend anything to play, at all. The microtransactions that do exist are extremely reasonable. Well done! Love this game and look forward to more from the same author.

I'm not very far along, but I feel like all I'm doing is fighting 2 or 3 enemies, teleport to town to heal, then running back so I can do it again. If it let you teleport back it wouldn't be so bad, but as it stands I played 30 minutes and I spent over half of that just teleporting to town to heal, then running all the way back to where I was. It's just not fun and the further you get, the further the run back is.

I love the game. It's amazing, fun, and a great time-killer. It reminds me of a much better version of the old PC game Fate. My problem is after playing for over 24 hours, now the app is stuck on the load screen and won't open. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because I'm afraid to lose my progress. I'll keep trying, and if it finally loads I'll update to a five star. At the moment, I'm frustrated with it. Edit: Update fixed everything! This app is one of the absolute best!

This game is way more than I expected for the (free) price! Can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good, offline, free game. Will give 5 stars if a fixed joystick is added, or at least the drag distance for full speed movement is reduced, since part of the screen will be obstructed from view when moving at certain angles.

READ THIS before you go to the negative reviews. This is a f2p game that you can get to the end without ever paying for. Wonderful play. Simple. Many people have complained about the balance and needing to go back to town every 3 enemies. They simply aren't good enough at the game. There are a few places in the game where it is so hard that you have to use a heal potion every enemy, BUT you NEVER run out of gold if managed well. Lost my play file and INSTANT developer response!

This is a great game for mobile. So hard to find games where you can progress without paying "micro transactions" which are supposedly "not necessary". I also like that it isn't a game where you have to keep up with the best players or you constantly lose everything. I enjoy a game like this where you can play for hours and enjoy a story. Graphics aren't the best, but gameplay is more than sufficient to make up for this. If I had a real complaint, it would be that some of the controls are a little buggy.

Awesome game, it is made to be very challenging. Idk if that is just at first or if it will be all the time. I could barely explore the first map and make it to the second without running out of health. Good thing is that during exploration you find resources that are needed to upgrade the character.

It starts out slow and it's hard to level up at first, but then it gets good.it is a very good game to play and once you start getting into it, it is hard to put it down or stop.the only thing I have negative to say about it is it is hard to use the spell buttons with big fingers. I wish there was more room between them or you could move them around different.

Very wellt hought out. Never got boring for me except for the last part on the snowy place. Always takes me by surprise everytime when i thought it will never get weirder or more awesome. Great game overall. It is quite hard to manage all the game's concepts at first but when you get used to it, you can play the game as smooth and flawless as possible.

Has the feel of an original PlayStation game. Am loving it so far and have already lost hours of sleep. Graphics: 8 out of 10 much more than I was expecting for. Free game. I e still early but everything feels crisp. Story: buhuuh don't know yet still in the first bit but solid so far and a bit mid evil feel. Control: 5 out of 10. It's been hard to get the hang of the controls but I'm an old school console person. Good game defiantly download!

not a bad game so far would rate higher but needs a big fix and some small stuffs ... the big fix is if i use the crystals to revive it should revive me right there as if i didnt die not send me back to town and respawn all the monsters .. the quit button when you die should be changed to (return to town) and that would respawn all the monsters. one of the small things add more armor chest and legs armor would be nice. and a warning before your gear breaks would be nice to not it just broke

This offline RPG is really well done. It has a decent plot and good control. I am not fond of the equal distance placement of mobs. It makes it highly predictable leading to easy boredom. However, maps are not overly huge so switching up areas helps stave boredom. I suggest more equipment to buy for future updates or vary mob drops so its not the same stuff as the store. Overall, really well done. A must have game for offline! A must-try for everyone else!

Had to uninstall and reinstall the app because it kept crashing and all my progress was saved to the cloud but it won't restore. What's worse is I purchased all the unbreakable armor, sword, etc and they are all gone. I sent an email to support asking for them to correct it with no response yet. I really love this game and it would be 5 stars if my stuff was still there like it's supposed to be.

the game is unbalanced. can't really get far unless you put all points in Defense. skills don't level by use or through independent upgrades, but instead slowly level with the character. as soon as you get to a new area, immediately all the enemies are just completely overpowered and you have to spend time in the previous zone grinding to improve your stats, mainly defense so that you don't get one-shot. there's not much variety to the gameplay, just hackslash your way through and heal yourself
