The Desert(PROTOTYPE)
STORYThe Desert is a vague open-world exploration game inspired by "Myst" and "Shadow of the Colossus". The game takes place in an uninhabited desert, in which the player must explore at there own will to discover the history of the desert's's design. The Desert holds many architectural wonders that tell a story of a forgotten land; your existence in said land is the mystery that the player must find.
The player assumes the role of an unidentified figure, who has been exiled from an unspecified kingdom for crimes he/she did not commit.(The lore will fill the story in... and will be updated constantly)
DESIGN PHILOSOPHYThe Desert was designed with the intention of creating a very casual and soothing exploration experience; with that in mind, there is no action... only story and mystery. It's a pretty simple game.

I see what you're trying it do, and the visuals really do take you the setting of a lonely windswept desert of megastructures, but back in the real world I don't have the time to explore a giant walking simulator at snail pace, the engine runs slowly when looking at the nicest parts, the music is awful and doesn't match at all. Close but just unenjoyable enough to not play.
I haven't figured the lore out because i have a problem. There is a spot with a giant black doorway. You touch it and a spiral stair case appears. Your character will not jump onto the first step so you can not go up there. Please fix that! Also the movment speed for me is fine but it seems like a rather common complaint. I would recommend something like a sprint button or a in game sprint meter, just in case some people don't want to go any faster. Besides that i love the game! It's now one of my favorites
Lack of hints or guidance would probably deter a lot of people from giving it a chance; not to mention the extremely slow pace the game carries. Despite of all that being said, The Desert is still an enjoyable experience. If I had to compare it to anything, it would be a Minecraft-Journey. It could be that the creator bluntly went for a similar feel although not as grandiose in scale or aesthetic as its somewhat (in my opinion) inspiration, it is still good regardless. Unorthodox? Yes. Rewarding? Perhaps...
WHY WASNT THIS FULLY MADE INTO A GAME! This game is really really good hell not good amazing the idea of the game is stupendous and it's a idea spawned from one of my most favorite games shadow of the colossus. I would of loved to see this fully bloom into a game
I could handle this if the travel wasn't so darn slow. Speed me up some...plzzz
A tranquil world where you explore and solve its many puzzles. I like the way the game is made because it gives you a feel of what the developer's mind is like ^_^.
I loved it, except for the fact that your character is too slow and the objective of the game is unclear.
I woke up to see fish with fried chicken, but no hamburger was in sight. Only french fries were forgiven.
Journey basically and please change the movement speed so slow

Please please help me. Is there a walkthrough or something? I made the spiral stair case but couldn't get on the first step. I went to the building to your left when you spawn in to no avail.. I want to see what this game is! I just need help :(
Yall need lots of more puzzles than the game will be way much better i love 3D puzzles if yall can make more puzzles and make it challeging than it would be a great game and add lava plz thx
Just take it down since it will never be finished. It is way too slow.
