The Digital Hunting Guide

Are you a Colorado DIY Big Game hunter focused on public lands hunting? The Digital Hunting Guide Mobile App turns your mobile device into a GPS with or without cell phone reception. Just pre-download the high resolution topographic maps that include Hunting Unit Boundaries, Public/Private Land Statuses, Closed and Decommissioned Roads, 20 Foot Topolines, Trailheads, Campgrounds, Trails broken out by Designated Use, and much, much more.
The offline maps features lets you download areas based on extent. As soon as your phone loses reception, or you tell the app to go offline, the app takes over and starts giving you the high resolution topographic hunting maps you need for being successful in the field that you stored on the phone. This lets you use your phone's built in GPS, serving detailed hunting maps miles and miles from the nearest cell tower.

The app also allows you to mark and save Waypoints just like your handheld GPS. The DIY Cloud makes this feature even better by offering the ability to 'sync' your waypoints. After marking a location using the mobile app and syncing your points, just log into our Online Mapping System to view your waypoints. This creates a secure location to avoid losing your precious locations, but also allows you to print maps that include all over your waypoints.

Currently offering coverage for all of Colorado, having this app will make spending money on expensive GPS handhelds obsolete. This app is built for serious hunters who need accurate information when they go into the woods to Explore Public Lands for Elk, Deer and Antelope every fall. It's a serious mapping app for a serious Public Land Hunter.

Will not let you see anything unless you buy

Once you play with the features and see its potential, there's little reason to lug around a GPS and a phone that can do the same and works better.

Easy to use. The ability to use the maps offline is great since there isn't service where I'll be using it.

It works identical to my handheld gps with their gps chip in it. Just faster, better quality images and easier to manage waypoints.
