The Dubai Mall

The app worked really well in navigating me to the stores, similar to what Google maps would've done. However, when I went to the mall yesterday, there was no route that appeared on the map. It just pointed out the store I needed to go and the landmarks around it and I had to make my way there using my best judgment, which is a bit crazy because my sense of direction is terrible and I get lost really easily. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the map. Let's hope that sorts the problem out.

Without this application you have no chance to locate your desired shop. It guided us perfectly everywhere we wanted to go.

Pretty much useless. Not intuitive. It may have been helpful if I had hours to sit around figuring out how it works, but I am a traveler and who wants to spend that much time while you should be shopping. Make it more intuitive.

Updated review: Updates on the app have fixed the crashing issue. I regularly use the rewards system now and it works well. Impossible to upload receipts to claim Skywards miles which is the main point of using the app, crashes every time. Absolute waste of time and effort.

What a horrible experience, I expected better. The wifi wouldn't connect no matter what I did, finally when it did there was no speed. Wow! The navigation NEVER worked. And even when it did the routes were wrong. Thankfully the folks around were helpful otherwise this was a disaster.

It is very clear showing all the event, offers, promotions and services available. It helps in moving around the mall, and the parking service especially when u loose your car... I really recommend this application. Especially now you can earn the emirates skywards miles just buy spending your money in shopping, restaurants and even cinemas!! It's worth it really 👍😍

the app is quite trouble some to upload receipts for rewards. always d receipts get rejected. the images cannot be captured clear enuff so have to reupload multiple times. also the rewards take long time to reflect. there is no way to check the rewards account. only d total miles show. can definitely get better and quicker keeping in mind that it is Emaar

Downloaded The Dubai Mall app and unable to link with Emirates, there seems to be a problem with integration and shake hands between both. I am unable see any support / help link for any sort of contact / assistance for user. I guess someone needs to look into it. Sofar, not good experience, until it is duly sorted at the app end. You will need a support email or contact. Money is being spent for marketing without testing the integration.

I don't understand the negative reviews. The only negative thing about this app is that I force myself to shop at dubai mall rather than any other place. Superb app. More than 5 stars if I could

Very hard to navigate and no 2d map. The 3d map is very problematic and navigating it is not easy, an option to have just a simple 2d map would be much more easier, as every time I use the app I feel so much frustration.

The application is very helpful indeed. Just close your eyes and everything is here in this app. Can easily find and locate the stores, parking and etc. Up to date of their promotions, rewards and store changes. Very accessible to the skywards updates and promotions. Time saver application.

Feels just like home. 'The Dubai Mall' a perfect place to shop, dine and entertain, with ample parking spaces and professional guest services staff at your service with always a smile on there face. Definitely a place to recommend ❤️ The app itself is very easy to use with a lot of features to cater to everyone's needs.

Waaaaaayyy too many notifications, and no way to turn them off. I install it when I need it, then uninstall it minutes later to avoid being spammed.

Useless... looking for supermarket or fountains without proper results. Force you to have ON gps, wifi and bluetooth at the same time... for what?!

The camera to take photos of receipts for Skywards can be challenging. Have had numerous receipts rejected :-( and by that time it is too late to resubmit because it somerimes takes up to 2 weeks to be validate and points allocated.

The ideal Mall app ever. Fully functional and useful for your next mall visit. I like the rewards program where you can earn skywards miles just by scanning your receipt.

Overall the app is quite impressive and very easy to use. Especially, I like the outdoor and indoor navigation functionality.

Map navigation is bad. Took me the long way around to get to lower ground from 2nd floor and still showing me to the parking lot instead of a restaurant.

They reject uploaded receipts without any reason. The supposed options being: date isn't clear (why don't you zoom in) the uploaded image is a scan (it's not. It was taken from in app camera) uninstalled it. Not worth the effort
