While this App has never been great, it always did the job. However, at this point, the latest version just crashes at startup. It's now unusable.
Lots of issues with my samsung tab s2 tablet. I start the app and page one shows up. If I start reading and go to next pages it says I have the wrong edition and restarts back to page one. I could be several pages into paper. My work around is to open the app, after the edition opens I go to my home screen. and then resent apps click on debt and when it shows it get the message and it reloads. Several times while reading text is blurry. I have to resize the page so I can read it.
Does not download full content. Says it did, but when offline tells me I need internet to download.
The app crashes before I can get into it. Called main office and he said they'd have it up again soon. Hasn't happened!!! Horrible app! Now I can't get in through website either! May have to cancel subscription.
Having used digital access to my local newspaper since Hot Coco I'm pleased to say that it has come a long way. It's now almost possible to read the comics, for example. However the run together words remind me of Sanskrit. Obviously no one is looking at the finished product on a regular basis.
At least once a month this app becomes useless. Won't open or load. Sometimes has double pages for the entire edition. No wonder the newspaper business is crashing, they can't even provide a consistent product.
Easy, intuitive. Can see the paper like a real one. Needs to be more responsive when changing pages -- im never sure i hit the button because of the long delay and i often go too far.
Crashes often since advertising was added within articles. I have to relaunch the app several times each morning in order to read the whole paper. Quite annoying.
Used to work just fine, but after the 5/5 update it will not open. Using both a Samsung S9+ phone and a Samsung Tab A. UPDATE -- 5/12 App is now working as expected. No new update was issued for the app, so the fix must have been needed on the service provider side. Upgraded to 4 stars.
i used this app often while on the road to keep up with local news and loved it. But recently it has stopped working. I am hoping a fix update is in the works.
Only complaint is that the search for older edition does NOT work on the Samsung/Android tablet. It does on the Samsung/Android phone.
Great app until update on 5/5/20. Now nothing opens up after the initial splash screen. I restarted the phone. Nothing. I Uninstaller and reinstalled. Nothing. Broken. Samsung 10+
Does not work at all. Displays "Loading ..." then a white screen. I can still read the e edition with a browser.
Sometimes it stops suddenly. Also some pages have strange characters instead of letters. But when it works it's good.
Great interface. Only problem is near the end of an article when it gets near an ad the screen stutters rapidly
The app is just Ok with lots of little issues and now has popup ads while the newspaper itself is left wing with heavy reliance on left leaning sources such as the New York Times.
Latest version broke on my Samsung SM-T510 tablet, just get loading ... Then blank white screen ... Worked great prior to that ... 07/17/21 update, this issue has been fixed for a while, app has slowly been improving
Unusable, just get a white screen. The previous version worked on my Chromebook.
App no longer functions on my Galaxy Note 9 since the May 5th update. Will not load despite multiple reinstalls. Will be cancelling my subscription.
New update no longer works on my Samsung Galaxy Tab . Just get a blank screen. Useless so I'll be cancelling my subscription.
Ever since the May update I am unable to open the paper. It just keeps loading.
a little clunky but it's great to be able to read the whole paper on my phone.

When it works, it's great..but often it doesn't load.
Horrible...works 10% of the time. Not worth the trouble. Will cancel my service.

The app updated 4/14/2022 is broken in my opinion. The app contains ads which (as a paying customer) I find to be unacceptable. I cannot log in to show my status as a paying customer. In addition I can no longer zoom into a comic panel to make it readable. Not everyone has 20/20 vision.
