The Escapists 2: Pocket Breakout

Controls are decent if you find the right settings, although there should be an option to change which buttons do what. I would give 5 stars if there was a good multiplayer feature other than leaderboards. It's definitely not the same as it is anywhere else but the effort is there. And a difinite 5 stars if we could make prisons like you can on PC.

The game is fun in itself, since I have it on my computer as well. Single player is just like the computer version, and with the special escapes for the maps, that's perfect. My only problem is that there are only four main maps (five, including the tutorial), and that Multiplayer is limited to LAN games. I'd like to see the game add more maps and a broader Multiplayer system. Other than that, great game.

Thank you Team 17 for porting this over to mobile devices. The game is great, but there's room for improvement: Sometimes a guard will stand still and float over the walls. This bug happens every so often; When all the prisoners and the guards come to the same room, that impacts the game's performance; In the Craft Menu, you have to use the d-pads or left stick to highlight the item you can craft AND the level required. That makes finding the item you're looking for more time-consuming. Isn't it possible to use the right stick to browse the LEVELS required and the left stick to check the item from that level? Also, when playing the game for the first time, a popup will show up asking for which kind of touch input the user would like to use, even though the game has already detected a physical controller. Either A) make the popup disappear after the game has detected a physical controller or B) include the option to use a physical controller in the popup; The game currently supports only English for the dialogs and in-game instructions (I can handle the translation to PT if you'd like, please get in touch); Please add more maps via game updates in the future. Up Next: Overcooked ;-)

Its an awesome game! Love the idea of having multiple floors. Although, it would be nice if on the map things were labled with small text for convienece. It takes a while to find a specific prisoner and such. Also, wish it would support more devices. I was dissapointed to find out that my sister coulden't find the game on the playstore. But other than that, its an awesome game. Still havent found bugs. Yay!

I absolutely love this game. Strategic thinking, smooth controls, excellent obstacles and AI, almost everything is great. Only one thing really peeves me: the quest system. Whenever it is a fetch quest or a quest that requires use of a particular item, there is risk of it being confiscated by guards and lost during early game. A solution to this could be having an easier access to the office were the item is located. Then as levels grow in difficulty, make the access harder to find

Great game. I love it just as the pc version. But I encounter some serious bugs. I've started 2 games. Exited to main menu and tried to back in, but it said the file was missing and I had to start all over. I am not going to play the game much more If that isn't fixed Update. I spend a lot of time with support and we found out you can turn off cloud save. And that will solve the problem

Absolutely flawless. From top to bottom it is exactly like the console game. I thought that since it's on mobile, it would be harder to control but I was very wrong. Definitely worth the $6 and will give you hours and hours of fun if you do all the possible escapes for every prison. I also really like the dlcs they included and will only give you even more hours of fun. One of the best parts in my opinion is that you don't need wifi to play which means you can play it anytime. Overall great game

I really enjoy this game. Though, I do suggest to make the game run on something other than local, because one of my friends has this game but lives really far away. And also, for instance, I would be playing the train map thingy offline. There are two or three things in that map that literally need another player. I also don't think cross-platform is a thing. If it isn't, please make it a thing. Anyhoo, I still really enjoy playing this game.

Everything is great! However i like to use my dualshock4 controller to play and although it works the controls are just weird. It explains the controls as if its an xbox controller which is fine in itself but where A on xbox is normally X on ps4. Now A is circle and B is square and X is X and the RS which is supposed to target people instead pauses the game. Simply add a way to remap the controls in the settings and all problems would be solved. Other than that great successor to the 1st game.

I was skeptical when I first downloaded this but was pleasantly suprised to fine myself enjoying this game... It is unfortunate, that the multiplayer requires everyone to be using the same Wifi connection as you to play together. The controls are half/half... Each with there own benefits and disadvantages. The game feels a little guided. Maybe an option to turn off map and quest markers. In the end... $7 for this game? With a multiayers change, absolutely... As of now, Debatable...

I really enjoyed playing both games and I love how prisons are still being added to the second game. However, there are a few features that would be cool in both the Escapists 1 and 2. For example, a prison editor/creator would be neat and a WAN or public multiplayer option where you could play with friends even if they are not in your local network would be a good idea. Aside from that, keep up the great work on these truely amazing games!

I really enjoy the game but playing with other players is very hard and annoying because the guest has to always restart the progress of their job, stats, and money. And sometimes errors can occur that when they happen the guest is randomly kicked out of the match, which means they have to lose everything they had (except Items)

The game is cool and all. But I find it a bit hard to navigate the items. I don't get any information upon clicking the items, I need to long press it. But the words would end up being behind my thumb instead. Also, it auto equips the item that I'm long pressing, which is kinda annoying.

One of THE best games I have ever payed to play, sorta confusing at first with the different buttons and mechanics behind it since I'm used to playing the first so much. But 5☆. Good work, but there is 1 thing that I must issue, when locally playing (Idk if it's meant to be this way)it doesn't pause when you go to your profile to craft or search other NPCs desks, but anyways, really good game, definitely recommend.

The game is good, you escape the prisons with unique escapes, lots of hard thinking. What I don't like: Controls, yeah it's a mobile version of a game, so, yeah. You kind of just do the same thing over and over, the guards are basically gods but also very dumb. You can play multiplayer, but you gotta be connected to the same wifi network to play multiplayer, and there is no online. I would much rather prefer the PC version. Atleast make free with ads or something, purchasable stuff or something.

Awesome game, great mobile experience and overall fun to play. 2 gripes that make me give this a 3 star rating however.. the sound system seems to break after extended gameplay which is weird. The other gripe is the fact that there is no online multiplayer. I had originally thought that was how it worked and I was a little saddened to see otherwise.

i loved it! but... i only got it to work twice... the first two times i opened it, it worked fine but now it opens and i tap the screen to start it and it just stays on the loading screen with the sound in the background but never goes any further and the sound doesnt go away untill the apps closed... i love the game and want to be able to play it again so pls fix this

Its really good. Loved the new art style compared to the first game and the different items and buttons. I thought that it was cool that this one has a multiplayer mode but everytime i try to play it, it times out and no one shows up. Rating would be 5 stars if the multiplayer was faster but besides that its good.

I would give it 5 stars if they could fix why it freezes up on some phones. My friend and I bought this to play together only for it to freeze everytime he starts a new game. It was very dissapointing to deal with and were not able to play together. On the bright side, this game is incredible and super fun to replay over and over.

One of the best pc to mobile ports of a game I've ever played, they improved the ui, movement and performance from the previous entry. If you want a cheap way to play the escapists 2 this is what you should buy.

The game is pretty good as expected from playing from the first one. Only problem I've faced is sometimes when I open the game it asks me to clear corrupt saved files. Then I have to open and close the game twice to play it again.

Very fun game, but they should add more prisons, and they should fix an issue where most of time it freezes when you try to load into main screen when you enter app, I have galaxy S8+ this should not be an issue at all, just those too things and maybe more items, this game would be perfect, still awesome tho, highly recommend you guys get it, multiplayer too which is awesome!

So in total this game is awesome but some things that aren't in the game that would make better are, being able to light stuff on fire with the light therefore making it a contraband, but thats mostly what i want to see in this game, because other then getting in fights and getting sniped your health doesnt really go down, and like there is a water mechanic, but it doesnt go past the door. So yea if you can add those this would be one of the best games i have ever played

its really great! and I love the gameplay, its just that the game needs more maps, maybe more interactive multiplayer gameplay, and a full compatibility to the Xbox controller would be amazing, and It would be great if that was added, then I would play everyday! This is one of the best games in the whole Play Store/App Store. It is thrilling, action-packed, and strategy aswell. I have been waiting well over a year for a next prison, but nothing would come out. Please consider adding a new prison from the Steam version or at least have some bug-fixes.

Please, please, please! Add native PS4/Dualshock 4 support! One of the main reasons I purchased the game was in hopes that my DS4 controller would work for it. While it does 'work,' the controller mappings are incorrect, as Xinput and Direct Input buttons are mapped differently. Hoping I'll be able to use touch controls on my tablet without too much frustration for now.
