The Fast Track GPS Tool
It provides you with:
- Waypoints, tracks and routes in GPX format
- Offline and Image Maps
- Weather Forecast
- Voice notifications

For sailors the fast track provides:
- Sailing specific indicators as: VMG, Bearing, Course, Deviance, …
- Leg comparison. When choosing a destination The Fast track app will automaticallydetermine the theoretical wind of direction as upwind or downwind from your current position. Each time the boat crosses this direction, The Fast Track app will assume the boat's tacking or gybing. And creates a new leg. You can also enter the current wind direction.
- A time to line tool, synchronized with the regatta chronometer, keeping you informed with estimated time to the start line. So you can make a perfect start!

Before sailing The Fast Track app, we strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the app in the simulation mode, where you will be provided with the necessary buttons to simulate your boat's speed and bearing.
We recommend you to use a bluetooth external GPS antenna to enhance the accuracy of the application and get the better results.

It's nice that there are lots of instruments, toa, vmg, avg vmg, distance,... It's to bad the voice reporting doesn't let you pick and choose. If not that then it should report on instruments displayed. A few different icons to select for waypoints would be nice too. Nice program.
Great sailing app, the control panels are set up well and easy to change from performance numbers to chartplotter to compass with direction finder. I keep return courses plotted that have saved me when fog has set in.
For newer Android versions, don't work anymore, but was a great app ! I remember the old good times, when was working and for the good memories, I give 5 What about making the app, great again ? C
This was by far my favorite GPS app, since my phone update it says the app was built for a older version of android. Can you please update the app
Great app, nice import export options, north-up display missing though.
Very handy app. Unfortunately my saved routes wont load the waypoints. Hope there is a cure.

It's great.
Works very nicely. It looks like the latest version drops waypoints as youpass close-by so I don'thave to take them off the route on thefly. 😊There is more than Iknow how to access. Would like to load charts.
Good for tow boating. Only thing is the locks need updated in my area. There is one lock not showing up on the map. Other then that its an amazing app to know how far you have to go.
Great app! I only complain that I can't connect a bluetooth anemometer for wind speed and direction.
Quite a learning curve, lots of clicking about before you know which button does what. After a bit experimenting it was a breeze (pun unintended) using the app, it did what it was supposed to do. Amazing
Seems good but loading routes gives me a "no waypoints found" toast so I have to create the race course on the fly. Will bump up the rating if that's resolved.
For some reason, for Open SeaMap, only the sea marks is able to be displayed suddenly. If the Open Seamap can be download to be used offline, will be even better.
Great app. I use it for work pushing barges. Can't beat a free app that offers so much.
It's a great free app for the lake not a fishing guide but navigation it works great.

Great App. Would like to see Depths on Map. Would be nice to have option to turn off or on.
Beautifully crafted, but the course (Course Over Ground, or COG) is too erratic, especially at low speeds (walking).
A very useful applilcation for sailboat racing. For some reason the boat speed reading only intermittently shows a value. I would prefer to have the option of selecting a smaller number of parameters on sound notifications (and that includes boat speed, which I do not get most of the time). Stopped working on new Amdroid version in 2022, therefore uninstalled :(
