Just paid for full features and calculator works but E6B tool is awful. No hints blocks solve button and can't figure it out. OK reading the description now I get the training tool asks random questions.
I needed a convenient e6b for my phone already very familiar with use now teaching grandson. Did not want simplistic toy guess I will put up phone and carry real thing for impromptu lessons, disappointed.
John bell - yes, every pilot need to learn how to use this, so we can calculate things without the need of electricity..
Very good training app, but I would like to see more tutorial functions for density altitude calculations for instance. I would also like to see more dynamic calculation examples. (Instead of just one example, give several scenarios to work through.) But all in all, a very good training tool. Thank you to the developers!
To limited in basic formulas they complicated something simple. Should have just put the e6 be on there without the calculators.
I have to give it 5 stars just for the coolness of rendering a functional analog e6b. Do pilots still learn how to use them? Its always fun to ask someone with a pilot watch if they can use the e6b bezel. This will teach you by how. Of course most pilots where cheap Timex and Casios, but that is another topic.

Good-looking and -working E6b. Looks and functions just like the original handheld. Needs work on the wind side, but know the developer is on it. App is good for both the novice and experienced aviator. Lessons are provided for a small fee. Overall a nice app to have for training and flight planning.

although good looking it's not very practical when used with my Galaxy Nexus. I spend $2.08 on it to purchase the full functionality but then found that it's not very useful. I uninstalled in within 2 minutes but didn't get the refund.
Not intuitive and only parts of the app are free.
App does not function with Adobe
Annoying controls. Just read the instruction book that comes with your computer.
Why did you design a standalone app that needs adobe air?

It's scale is ever so slightly inaccurate, so everything's off. There are plenty of well made alternatives to this app. Also, requires Adobe Air.
