The Game of Life

The Game of Life itself is entertaining, with the ability to play against friends or the computer, nice graphics, fun mini-games and a good overall game experience. However, the game is extremely limited in its customization and variability, and additional content is locked behind microtransactions, at an expensive price. For a game that is already costly, some additional maps and characters should be included in the game, because right now it feels like more of a money trap than anything.

I absolutely love this game. I can play against the computer and while offline so I could play for hours and not get bored, especially since I own all the boards. Gameplay is easy and fun, minigames add some variety to keep it interesting. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the game constantly crashes. I always have to reload it. It does save the progress, thankfully, but nevertheless it is a major annoyance. Would easily be 5 stars if they can work out the bugs.

Just download the app, keeps crashing and I've yet to actually be able to finish a game! Besides that, I wish I could connect with Google Play, rather than Facebook. If not, we should be able to make a nickname and customize our icon. It would be more fun if you accumulate points each game that go on a leaderboard, mini goals to advance, etc.

It's a nice little game. The graphics are smooth and are a nice touch. However, the game doesn't really last long. The classic board is extremely small and becomes extremely predictable after awhile. Each space can be the same pulled action card as more people land on it. Also, you have to pay $4 or more for new boards. I paid for this game already!

Overall, this is a wonderful game. My only concern/problem is with the purchases. Initally when I bought the app, it wouldn't download and kept telling me I had to repurchase it. That problem resolved itself, but now, I have bought a few of the different maps, and every time I reload the app, it tells me I have to buy them all over again, amd doesn't let me pay/access what I have already paid for.

The game is a lot of fun. Super cool board but I have one major issue with it. You pay money to get the game but then when you open the game you only have one map, four character options, and one bike option. You can pay a butload of money to get all the other things but I personally think it is stupid. I would rather pay like 8 dollars upfront and then habe everything open. I understand mabey doing challenges to get the other maps and characters and what not but not taking more money.

I'm starting to get REALLY frustrated with this game. It's super fun and I want to play it, but I cant. Either the game keeps crashing before I can start a game, or crashes halfway through. Or it crashes right at the end and you can't find out who won. Even offline mode crashes on me multiple times a game. You really need to work on the stability of this app, especially since you're charging for it.

After you buy the game, you have to buy each individual map or pay $20 for a season pass. I paid for this game once, I'm definitely not going to continue to pour money in it. For less than $20 I could go buy the actual board game! This game randomly crashes as well, very unstable. I do not reccomend :EDIT: They replied and said the in-app purchases are cosmetic only which is a huge lie. Since when is a new map considered cosmetic? Cosmetic is a new avatar or new vehicle design, not a whole map.

I love this game! It never crashes on me, it lags a little when you're playing online but that's expected, and as for someone's problem with the black screen, I believe you just need to turn your screens auto shut off up in your display settings, I had a similar problem at first and did that and it hasn't shut off again while in a game, my only suggestion would to make a save opinion for our cars and gender? Otherwise I'm completely satisfied, worth the price! and it's fun love the animation!

Awesome game! The only thing I wish is that we could unlock new boards with their careers as we play because it was hard to pay for the game itself which I've never done until now. I can't afford to buy all the boards and after many games it is getting a tiny bit repetitive. Other than that one issue this is my favorite game on my tablet. Oh I almost forgot that in the description it says we can get google achievements but have not seen an option in the actual game.

this really brings back memories. It has a few twists to the original game such as a single player mini game, and risk road. Note that there are several themes, not required, that can be purchased single or as a bundle. I might buy the extras. I am not sure if I have seen all the cards but did not see any disaster cards like "your house got damaged" (might be my imagination it has been a while. good game.

My experience was excellent! Although the kicking out part and being disconnected all the time can be and is very annoying. Can you please work on a update for that, that would be very appreciated and if you can a way for it to stay logged into your Facebook so you dont have to log in every single time ... Other then that I give it a strong 5 stars!

This is a fun version of The Game of Life. It's simple but entertaining. My friends play this online since we can't get together in one place. Admittedly, the game is missing a lot that we loved about the original. Specific spaces (Tornado Tilts house!), retirement choice consequences, etc. It's fun, but a lot of the space cards are repetitive. If the Game of Life 2 had a longer board, we'd go back to it.

I just installed this game today I've tried to play 7 games in full mode with multiple players. I got knocked offline in three of them, the game froze in two of them, one of the players froze so the game became inactive, and I had one successful completion. The game was designed very true to the original board game and I love that about it. It's a shame that I paid money for something that keeps crashing. If it would stop crashing and freezing it would be addicting.

The game is fun and the graphics and animation are quite good. However, gameplay is quite glitchy. Often the game will hang when in multiplayer online mode, meaning quite often the game cannot be completed. This happens on multiple tablets and can get very frustrating. If this issue is fixed I believe this is a 5* game.

The game constantly crashes. Animations are nice at first, but make the game extremely slow and glitchy in the long run. Allows you to speed up computer turns, but still annoying. Don't waste your money on this game. I expected a lot more for having to pay. Incredibly disappointed and the game has been deleted.

This is a really fun game. The only thing that ruins it is the amount of micro transactions. You start out with the original Life board, and 3 characters. You have to pay for different characters, and different boards. They're not asking 99 cents. They're asking 3.99 for most dlc. We already paid for the game, why must we pay again and again?

The game I love. However if your gonna make people pay, you gotta fix your bugs. For months now this game, crashes, freezes, drops you out of live games, and it's very frustrating. For paying for a app these issue if they do come around should be resolved fast, and not getting worse as time goes on. I've updated, restarted phone, swicht from wifi to regular network use. All no avail to bringing no interrupted game play. Every single time I open the game, it has one of these issues cancelling my game. Please fix, if they were small errors would not be a issue. But everytime the game is ran it freezes or knocks you out is not ok, for a paid app.

The Game of life is ok. After a little bit the game just got boring. It was the same over and over again. I payed $3.99 and you still have to pay for things in the game!!!! I wish you could get the game for free and pay $3.99 on the boards and profile pictures. Also it would be great if you could unlock boards the more games you win it would be much more fun and less boring. All in all get the game if you want but its not really worth your money save it for something much better.

I have learned i played the game of life wrong all this time! Clearly going to college doesnt matter at all. Every ai got a better job without! Every spin minigame had a black and a red without fail. The game was rigged and i didn't stand a chance. The lack of a difficulty setting is also frustrating because it felt like the ai cheated at most steps.

So upset I spent $4 on this game. Should be for free with all the glitches. I have entered a game and tried to play 3 times. The game keeps kicking me out and it glitches. I was half way through a game and I got kicked out and session shut down. When I went back I lost my position, I had to start a new game & this has happened 3 times now. Not very stable and very disappointing. Graphics are amazing but you need to fix the games. Not worth buying it, I'd rather the board game right now.

This game would be good if it wasn't so glitchy. We were only able to complete 1 of the 4 games that we started because it randomly goes blank then won't reload.... moves were also glitchy. Also, it is a slightly different way to play than the board game..... seems like it would be good if it worked. Is there a way to get a refund?
