Great way to wind down my 1 and e year olds
I've been using this for years and I love it
What a great book!!
The narrator has bad diction and enunciation of the words and doesn't sound interested in the story. Additionally, I have this installed on a tablet (WiFi only) and when I am not near an internet source I get "You must have a valid license to run this app." Another case of overzealous DRM penalizing actual legitimate paying customers. I'm really disappointed.
My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this book. It looks great on the GNexus and has enough interactions to keep her busy. I would give it 5 stars except the pages are hard to turn. She often has to hand me the phone to change the page, even I need to take 3-4 swipes before I find the right spot.
however, there are some major glitches with the app when used by the HTC EVO LTE :( i was excited to purchase for my toddler, only to be disappointed. i cannot turn the page, the pictures do not appear at times but when the screen is touched the sounds still work. please fix.
Good story but needs an auto play and easier way to turn pages. The pages are very difficult to turn even I have problems turning them. The characters are fun to play with by moving them. I would rate higher if fixed the page issue. I am disappointed how much I paid and we can't hardly get done with the book without being frustrated. I would buy the other books if you add the auto play(turns pages for you) or/and the easier page turning Developers please fix and will give more stars.
Loud crow are renowned for making excellent interactive kids books. This first effort stands up to the other titles perfectly well. Narration is superb, with Billy voicing each word separately so kids can hear how words should be pronounced.
Usually when I want my kids to read this book is when I'm out and about, thus having no wifi connection on my Nexus 7. This book, along with all the other Loud Crow books I've purchased, will periodically do a license check. However if you have no connection, the check will fail and prevent you from using the app. Like any other app I'm sure this can be easily pirated. Thus the DRM is only hurting actual paying customers. Remove the DRM and I'll bump it up to 5 stars.
My daughter loves this book and the app is an excellent way for her to enjoy it when we are out and about. Sandra Boynton an amazing children's author! You are doing your child a great injustice if they do not have the entire Sandra Boynton collection!
Used to work on my old broken tablet. Got it replaced with a new same type, Samsung Galaxy Tab. Keeps saying License failure! You must have a valid license...retry but won't work. Please fix. My 2 yr old loved it now can't play it on tablet.
I've downloaded and have purchased allot of different children's Book Apps; usually Ocean house media book/apps. However this one beats them all by miles. I would reccommend this book/app and most likely all the others from this developer to any one who has children between 3 and 9.
This would be a better experience on my tablet than it is on my phone - too bad it crashes the first time you try to turn the page.
Wonderful balance of interactivity and calm. Far from an overstimulating obnoxious kids app this app manages to feel like a magical book. Really terrific.
My 5 y/o absolutely loves this book, so much so that the board book has fallen apart. He adores this app and constantly wants to play with it and read it. My 2 y/o loves the nifty little animations that make this book come to life. Amazing job! :-)
My three year old enjoys thus book so much. We have the board book at home and she reads them both.
My daughter loves listening to this story over and over, sometimes it's hard to get my phone back. Still seems to have occasional problems changing pages on an S3 though.
Could not get this to work. It would take me to the first page and then get stuck.
If you get a license error popup window. Don't click on it but press the devices "back" button. It should close the popup and let you get through the rest of the book. Hope more people find this comment! Love the books but hate the DRM.
My 2yo loves this app and all the animations that come up on each page. The book is beautifully narrated. Lots of fun for children and parents!
The app does work on ASUS transformer TF101. The app is unable to perform the animation of turning the page
A terrific adaptation of a classic book to an app. It's a kind storyteller, an inspired busy box, and a reading teacher, all in one.
sometimes problems when you turn on the sink, the top layer is steam and you cant access the lower layer items. besides that kids love the book, great use of sensors.
I love this. Forget kids, im 28 and just one read of this and Im flat out lol. Love having all kinds of books on my phone and this is a welcome addition for bedtime

My 2 year old son loves to read along and interact with all the pages . Great adaptation of book, lots of fun and cool ways to get involved.
So sweet. I got this for my first daughter when I was pregnant with her and it was so calming and fun to snuggle up to. Now I'm sharing it with my second daughter and she loves it too.
