The Gospel Project
The Gospel Project invites Adults, Students, and Kids of all ages on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture. Each week, participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith, and the call to join in God's mission locally and around the world. Adults and Students study the same passage. Kids study the same passage where appropriate, but connector passages when more suitable to their level of biblical learning.
In addition to the session content, each volume features interactive study questions that are stored so that you can access your responses on multiple devices. You can also create highlights, bookmarks, and notes anywhere in the content. The app supports multiple translation Scripture pop-ups as well.

Other reviews are correct: the app does not include a way to view purchased content. It seems to be missing a button that has the feature. It was great when it worked, but does not currently. Stick with the paper copies.
when the app works it's great. I have used out for the last few years but now I can't access my books that I have purchased. I'm visually impaired and I use this app to teach my Sunday school class. so for the last few weeks I haven't been able to teach. I'm writing this review in hopes that it gets the developers attention so they can get it fixed.
Not Functioning, Unable to Use Purchases. I really feel cheated on this, and I'm really disappointed by seeing so many poor reviews and not a single response from LifeWay to rectify. That's stealing. I can't use what I paid for. Update: they claimed ignorance with the issue, stating they had no control with it since it was purchased through the Google Play store. It's ridiculous seeing that they promote it in the back of the Gospel Project study guide!
Very disappointed in this app, I feel that it and The Gospel Project / Lifeway has stolen money and time from me. Like other people's reviews, the app won't allow me to download purchased content. It gives 2 buttons when I look at my purchased content, "owned" & "archive", but it won't allow a download or to even archive the content.
I should have read the reviews before I purchased... cannot open the content that I bought. Contacted the developer and they have not responded. Tried to get my money back from Google Play and they say it's not eligible for refund.
This app is horrible. There's no way to access your purchases, and Lifeway offers no assistance all. Complain to Google Play is the best advice they can give. Wish I'd read the reviews BEFORE I gave them any money.
App used to work pretty well. Now I'm unable to locate the latest Daily Disciple Guide to purchase.
As other reviews have noted, there is no way to download the guide after purchase. This app should be taken down until this basic functionality is fixed.
Purchased guides show as "owned," but there's no way to download them.
Same issue everyone else is having. Paid for a sunday school book and cant open it or download it.

Cannot get the app to open the curriculum that I purchased. Don't waste your money. I was refunded through PayPal.

When I download my leader guide for offline use the app never detects that I have anything downloaded on my phone's hard drive. I have to establish a network connection via 4g for it to verify my account information and items I've purchased. From that point I can then turn my data off and pull up my material provided the app finds the directory it downloaded the book to.
I have to use the app because this is our Sunday School material. If it weren't I wouldn't bother. I've paid for 2 summer session books and can't get them to open. Looks like the same problems from reviews from 2015 which says theres no way y'all are gonna fix it. Shameful.
It's just about broken and not useable. Can not open content, the app lags or locks up. Not worth the money. If your church is going to use this program I would not suggest or even mention this poor app
Purchased study guides do not open. Archived items come out of archive by themselves every time app is opened.
I love God's Word but this attempt at putting together a study guide is very poor. The only thing that is useable is the Bible portion. Wish this was useful to go along with our Sunday school class.
I am constantly having to reload. Do not click on reference numbers or you will be unable to get back to where you were reading
Not all churches have internet so why must I have it connected to the web to access content even when it is downloaded to my device. Great idea terrible execution.
I was only able to use the app one day. Now it will only open the purchased study guide to the session I previously used. NO search. Very frustrating. Can't get back to a menu or anything.
If I'm connected to the internet it shows "downloaded" items. But when I'm not it shows nothing. Hard to prepare for a lesson on a plane. For something that is paid, this is a TERRIBLE app.
I've paid for and downloaded 2 leader guides but can't access them. I will no longer be using this app until it is fixed. Paying 4.99 for a study guide can't access is money wasted and developer doesn't seem to care.
Great concept but it won't open the study guide I purchased. Wish it worked because then it wouldn't have been a waste of money

I enjoy the app and reading through their lessons, BUT the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the app feels very clunky. The student version of the app is much more "user friendly" than this app. Also, for some reason the app puts two icons in my app page. Not sure why, but they both do the same function. (Not an issue though, it's just strange.)

Does not work properly. Archived items keep reappearing. The filtered view always displays all items. I spend too much time searching for current content since nothing seems to archive or delete.
I downloaded the app to get my Sunday School book after misplacing mine. Seems like a great digital resource, but nowhere is there a download button to get my file. I've gone rounds with both Lifeway and Google Customer Support. Neither one takes responsibility for the purchase. Basically thanks for taking my money whoever, I don't even need the book now the quarter has passed.
