I am using free version of Hindu. So obviously it is fair that I will get ads. I agreed. But when I am reading a particular page, for example if I read second paragraph , then it spring into first or third paragraph when those ads are changing. Which annoying while reading. Also the side-swipe option to jump from one article to another one, is too sensitive and it goes to another article accidentally even a small transverse movement , while scrolling. Please rectify it.

Poor user-friendly interface. I have subscribed for daily e-paper edition annually. The problems I have faced are: 1.unable to download the edition in pdf format 2.If we want to increase the size of the font , instead of increasing it is decreasing 3. Unable to download any photos.( If we can't download why to keep the options)

This app is well designed. However, it's sensitivity needs to be adjusted when gesture navigation is enabled in Android 10 and above. When scrolling, the app switches to the next/previous article.

It is the best news app that I have come across so far. Well designed,easy to navigate, clutter free. And most importantly..content for the discerning class, intelligentsia

Very good content. UI is good and structured. One of the painpoints is there is no auto night mode that follows the system theme. And the option to enable night mode is buried inside settings.

When reading a particular news story, the window shifts to a different news story abruptly and randomly. The UI is hopeless and has made me uninstall the app in lass than a week of installing it.

Sometime it shows only few lines of news and other lines become blank. I need to visit website to read full news. I have taken subscription also. I have bad experience. It is better to read news in website because app quality is poor.

The app's layout is still poor. Many of the reports titles are not fully displayed. They get horizontally abruptly sliced off. Despite being a premium user I face this issue which is indeed shameful.

I have taken subscription of one year in February month but still I'm unable to take benefits of app. In app shows the advertisement , I even can't read premium article so please do something to solve this problem as soon as possible.. Thanks a lot

Kindly help urgently! I had just subscribed to the UPSC combo (front line+digital+e-paper for 18 months). Firstly the app keeps saying I've logged out, or invalid user and I have to login repeatedly till it randomly logs me in. Secondly, in The Hindu Epaper app, when I log in, it says I have no subscriptions to epaper. From where am I supposed to read the Epaper and the frontline, then ? Kindly look into it AS urgently as possible as I don't like my time to be wasted, even after subscription.

Took 3 months to be comfortable on app, it's worth it. It was hard after being accustomed to reading news on paper for the past 10 years. Such a valuable and wonderful newspaper!

Even after a subscription, the app has stopped to refresh. I can only see the same dated articles for the last 1 week. And now the app doesn't even start. It shows an error message that something went wrong and closes automatically. You can't even make the app work, let alone any special features

Iam a paid subscriber. During the initial time I was able to read all articles. But after 2 months I could only see the title and the image associated with each article and unable to see the content. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app many times. Still the problem prevails.The same issue is counting for 5/6months.

Excellent app for avid news readers, enthusiasts and learners. The subscription plan of ₹1499(the hindu, business line, frontline) is amazing with access to all e-papers and archives. I liked 'text-context' column in learning section very much, it gives us a very good insight into English language. The Hindu group had done a fantastic job by providing a clean news reading and learning experience. Thank You.

Lessen the sensitivity of swiping left and right. Normal scrolling down or up while reading an article, triggering left or right swipe accidentally and taking to the next or previous article.

Please add the image / text option in this app like the web browser, because some photos with the news is not showing in the text mode. Image, that gives a feel like reading print edition. Also there is some scrolling problem also need to improve. THANKS

They should start a scheme where the subscribers of the physical paper are eligible for e content. If you are downloading this app to use it for free, don't, just don't. They will bombard u with advertisements and doesn't allow you to read more than 20 articles a month. I don't find it useful or enjoyable.

Would've given the app 5 *'S but I have a big issue with the interface while reading an article. Please note that sliding between article with the gesture should be only restricted to side swipe. Right now the application slides between articles even though we do a diagonal swipe. When I am holding the phone and scrolling with the same hand, general case, scroll gesture will be - diag or curved. Consequently, I find myself swiping between articles for no reason. Totally frustrating!

Feedbacks: 1) Please Include Customize Push Notification Category. 2) Implement Better UI, try to follow "Medium" blog Website and App type display of contents. They have beautiful UI on App. Believe me or not, aesthetics is important. UI/UX are the crucial factor too. 3) Even Personalized home screen settings doesn't remove unselected categories off the home page toggle up above. Please fix it.

I'm frustrated with The Hindu,I took subscription for e-paper, after 2-3 months the app asked for an update, after getting so I'm not able to see the e-paper navigation bar on the app. I have installed the E-paper app of The Hindu too but there also I have to login every day. Such a horrible process it is, first verify your account through email and then they keep sending some links and then only I'm able to see the paper but everyday when I open the app it keeps asking the same thing. Stucked🤦

Sir/Madam, The App keeps Stopping, when trying to view "Briefing" as a subscriber, which makes it hard to get the new. Kindly resolve the issue soon. Easy, Quick, Hight Quality News up-to-date, very trustworthy, very reliable. Thank you for your glorious service

Very disappointed with this app. When I try to renew my subscription on the app, I get a blank screen. This has been the case for the last 3 months of trying to renew my subscription. I give up now and will probably subscribe to a news app that makes it easier for me to pay them.

The read aloud option gets stopped once the screen sleeps. Some form of option to keep screen from sleeping or an option to keep read aloud running even after the screen sleeps will be a very good move

One of worst experience after taking paid membership, I cannot access my daily e paper through application, always i login through chrome then I get e paper after refreshing atleast 10 to 15 times, I'm also not getting access to e magazine.

I am a premium subscriber, having just bought a package subscription for all Hindu Group. However, even after two weeks they cannot activate it for this app. Pathetic. A warning for all future subscribers.

a newspaper is sea of knowledge where you find everything that is happening in our world and in this world you lost sometimes because everything that is happening is not imperative to understand! The hindu is one of the newspaper,which gives an idea of how to understand the things. happy Reading to all the Hindu readers!

I purchased 2 years subscription last month but my subscription is not showing, it shows (0). I tried login option.

I have been logged out again from the app and unable to log back in. I log in through Facebook, now when I do that, it shows 'sign in failed'
