The HinterLands: Mining Game
You arrive in The HinterLands with just a few tools and torches. To survive you must build a house, and hunt for materials to craft new items. Mine the terrain for resources, build great structures, harvest plants, trees and mobs, the choice is yours!Play cooperative or competitive multiplayer with friends or random players!
The HinterLands is a work in progress, and will continue to grow, expand and evolve over time. Your feedback and suggestion will help shape the game, and you can participate in the development of the game.

- run up walls, do flips, climb over ledges, run and slide under things, wall kick/jump between walls

The HinterLands was the FIRST (early 2013) multiplayer 2d mining game on Google Play, and was released early in alpha to encourage people to contribute to development, since there was nothing similar on the market. Since then it has grown a ton, and keeps growing thanks to player feedback!

Really brings back nostalgia after 4 years, the character creation could still use a bit of improvement though like face shapes, longer hairstyles, eye shapes, weight options, height options, shirt types, pants types, maybe hoodie's etc. When you can though I see from reading the reviews it hasn't been making much money for updates.
Although forced adds are a thing, I understand you need the money to continue development. Although I find the forced adds annoying especially when it happens every time you exit and save a world. Kinda crazy but it's still good none the less even after the years I never played. Best luck to ya updating this to unity!
So i believe it's a good game but we need more powerful monsters and the end-game swords like the ones from shop or the diamond sword need balance maybe add more armor for them. Overall it's great. Edit: Since you responded to my review I'm glad that you still plan on remaking the game in unity. Sadly I'm a C++ programmer and certainly not the best out there and I don't use unity. I plan to learn it so maybe i could help out. Best regards!
Wow, I just realized I'm old af I used to play this game when the old character sprites were changed to the new ones and the crawl was added, like 5 or 6 years ago... damnnn The game feels great and it's actually quite fun but the only issue is the weird movement from the camera when running around and jumping blocks
i cannot describe how perfectly flowing the character animations are, it makes movement much more fun. I am sure this will be unchangable, but the character to block ratio seems a little bit off. I hope you succeed in this game and make funds to develope a game that can rival ahem (growtopia) ahem.
what a wonderful game you have, but it's sad that the last update was in 2018, I've read the reviews and your replies to them, and I know you are waiting/working on some stuff to update the game. what is your estimated time until the game is going to be reworked with more single player things (bosses; better caves; biomes; more interesting concepts). I feel like those 4 things would improve the game greatly, but don't make it too complex, cause complexity does =/= fun or good gameplay good luck!
Good game just has some weird permissions which stops me from buying paid version like telephone permission and the other odd permissions the controls needs updating as they are so slippery and the arrows on menu's don't aw always work had to keep pressing few times for it to work
I used to LOVE this game but you cant even play multiplayer anymore all the servers are down and it's just depression. Also I had a Character named EnderNite and I got on after like 2 days and everything was gone! But even know I was mad one of my freinds got on and gave me stuff but still not as good please can you give me my stuff back if you can. All I really want is my diamonds back I had like 6 stacks of blocks 😤. Well anyway just fix the servers first then it would be nice I get demBac
Loved this game when I was younger. Super nostalgic and a blast to revisit. Hopefully Mr. Dev continues to make games / do whatever they do best.
Very cool game me and my friends like how it is multiplayer threw bluetooth and that you do not need to use Wi-Fi it is a really good game I love it. \_(°=°)_/ One last thing we need mounts like horses or donkeys (mech suits) and stuff to get around or help stuff thanks for the cool game.
Damn the nostalgia i miss this game i used to play this on my old phone i was just scrolling and found the game again but this game needs a reboot alot of things needs to be fixed but all in all i love the game it brings me back to my elementary days i wish you the best of luck and please make a sequel or a reboot
Just wanted to say I love this game when I was younger and got it back to see how it was doing and 1 thing that made me sad was that the servers were down, but I read one of the reviews and you said we're working on a update or something like that. When do you think you'll be able to finish that.
I miss this game😢 I started playing this game in the year 2013 the year they launch this game. I was 11 years old and now I'm already17, I play this game because im a minecraft fan(only for the past years). And I think the dev doesn't recognize me anymore(well ofcourse he don't because you are just a random dude xD). before my phone was samsung galaxy young2.3.6 can't even download minecraft.So im here to visit and give review to my childhood game. I wish you will add more feature in this game.

The nostalgia coming back to this 3 years later feels great. A few problems I had were... Lower the prize for watching an ad, someone could watch 10 ads and have a sword better than diamond, and wings before they even upgrade a tool, and in the settings there is a setting called lighting off, this defeats the purpose of torches, but it's helpful to see ores and diamonds. Other than that this game is still amazing 3 years later, even without multiplayer.
