Fun game but glitches made me stop. I put all 3 fosfoses in the parachute and only 2 made it. The other disappeared and there were no spares. So I couldn't progress. Really disappointing. Would have given it a 4 or 5 but for that. Not worth going all the way back to the beginning and starting over. Bummed.
The thing I dislike the most about puzzle games are when the steps aren't logical. This game tried to make its puzzles more complicated by having hints to the next steps in dialogue or having to complete certain dialogue trees to open up an option in the world. But there so much useless dialogue it gets tedious fast. The art style and sound design are nice. I'm sure some this game will tickle the fancy of some but probably not most
I got to the part of the game where you have to use the main characters flute nose to continue. The problem is that it is impossible to press down two simultaneous notes to play the fourth note. I attempted to get it for 1 hour because I really like the game and wanted to keep going. I ended up giving up because it seems impossible. Too bad could have been a good game which ran fairly well, up until this point.
It was a great story and drawings were really cute. The world felt intriguing, I wanted to see more of it. The only problem is this android version is kinda clunky. When I accidentally leave the app or simply press back, it completely takes me out of the game and I have to open the app and my save all over. Autosave is quite frequent and I haven't lost any progress but it was annoying nonetheless. But overall fantastic game, great work!
Phenomenal story, characters and graphics. The world-building is beyond most games out there. It's a shame about the bugs: i.e. 1) when there are animations playing in the scene, you have to long-press and slide to interact with stuff, 2) the bottom drawer overlaps with the scene objects and the flute, 3) the birdseed can 'disappear' at the beginning and you have to start the game over, 4) minimizing the game makes it reboot every time, 5) and the nose flute is flaky and frustrating. The programmer should really have tried harder. Even with those bugs, I still have to give it 5 stars for how good the rest of it was. I felt connected to the characters. Some of the puzzles were impossible to figure out, so it's good there are hints in-game. I wish it were more polished.
I love this game! Artwork is great and love that there is actual voice acting! Puzzles are challenging but not impossible. I have run into a bug in the final chapter though. I have to pick up Peck, but his interaction button is overlapped with the basylion button that fires the beam. So I cannot pick him up to finish the game! Once this bug is fixed this game is a 5/5.
This was a great game (though very hard). I played it for nearly four hours after downloading it, and my progress was being saved the entire time. Four hours in and all of a sudden nothing is saved. I don't have another 4 hours to commit to playing the game over again from the beginning. Very dissapointing! I've emailed the makers and ask for a refund.
I was having fun until an item suddenly disappeared and I can't proceed any farther. I started all over again to that point, chapter 3 out of 4, and the same isuue happened again. The tickets keep disappearing and I am very disappointed with this game right now. Having empty spots in dialogues here and there were tolerable, but this isn't. I hope the devs fix this issue soon, but the last update is few years ago. I still sent them a detailed email with screenshots. Let us wait and see.
One of the best story based point and clicked adventure game. Its about a flute nose boy named Robert joining with Laura to save the world from Conroy himself. The game was brilliantly illustrated and the art was amazing. The voice cast was great. Everything is easy to read and easily click able. The music was amazing. The characters are goofy, interesting, weird and strange but they are all great! But for high end users(for newer phones), expect some mild tech issues and/or glitches.
This click and point game had an interesting story plot. But the controls for placing an object on something to get it to work where hideous. Some items take multiple attempts to get to work. The hints make the game incredibly easy when stuck and are very useful. Talking to characters was a bit long winded but some actually say so pretty hilarious things. The game is well worth playing a little bit different and qurki but a hole lot of fun
Hahaha YES! That's exactly how to make this kind of game! Reminiscent of games like Monkey Island and Discworld with the same sense of fourth-wall-breaking, sarcastic humour. Some solutions come from way outside the box, but the UHS-like hint system keeps you playing. The art style and narrative are simple, but very engaging and the voice acting is just right. This game is a big hurrah to the genre and if you consider yourself a fan of point & click, you owe it to yourself to play it.
Bugs stopped progress several times. Mainly, things disappearing from inventory. Had to start anew from the very start on those occasions. And once finished, the achievements were inaccurate. I was never able to claim the 'Complete Chapter 3' achievement even after finishing the game twice. Nor the one for speaking to all available Asposians (even when I played a third time just to tap on all the dialogue bubbles). Other than those irritating glitches/bugs, the game was interesting and mostly fun. (But starting over again and again was frustrating.)
I played this game a few years ago and it was one of my favourite games ever! 5 stars all round! I was so excited to replay it again, however even though i throughly enjoyed it still, there were so many bugs this time round! Some of these bugs include the screen sometimes freezing and not let me click anywhere, completing chapter 3 achievement not working, robert's voice would sometimes change into a deep slow voice which was scary...it goes on! Such a shame as it ruined the game.
Fantastically weird! Difficult in parts but good hint system in place. Loved the layout of this game and the characters were quirky and endearing. Would have been 5 🌟 but you lose 1 due to the lack of logic in some of the puzzles...using a walking stick as a knitting needle?!? Wee bit too random. Otherwise great game and worth the download 👍
Great point and click adventure, exactly what I was looking for. Maybe little bit too much talkative for me at the start where you spend most of time by talking with other characters but the texts are funny and it gets better soon. There are some annoyances in the controls (some hard-to-tap type issues) but in general great. I had to switch to try anything on anything once or twice, but most of the puzzles was quite logical.
Such a lovely and enjoyable game. The graphics, the music and the artstyle are all on point, and fit together incredibly well. The length is around eight hours, which is just the right length for this game. The puzzles can be a bit irrational at times, but the built-in hint system will always be there for you to consult.
Great artwork in a strange world with a fun story. Has some challenging puzzles but some had the oldschool nonsensical solutions that may take awhile to find, then theres some confusing backtracking near the end. Many jokes that most of will land with a few cheesy type ones. Was fun and worth the price with very few flaws. Some of it felt tedious and convoluted is why four outta five but still a great game to pick up. Support Devs!
Very good game in general. However, it has some bugs with items. Also, it closes immediately when touching home button or opening recent apps. I can't open a dictionary for translation.
What a whimsical, fun and colorful adventure! It ticks all the right boxes of a cartoony adventure game. Great graphics? Check! Neat sounds and good voiceplay? Check! A captivating story with enough plot twists? Check! An awesome setting? Check! Full fledged characters? Check! Lots of humour? Check! Puzzles of various dificulty and length for all tastes? Check! A great game from start to finish, that captivates you with its colorfulness and humor, that makes you scratch your head trying to solve some puzzles (and there are some harder/more obtuse ones) and that makes you want to finish to see how the story ends.
