This is not working on my Shield TVs anymore either like other reviewers have stated. These apps cost way too much money to have this issue and support has not chimed in yet either. I own 4 or 5 of these packs. FIX YOUR APP!
This app does not work on Android TV (version 8.0). After trying every troubleshooting option under the sun I requested a refund and was denied.
I've had this for a few years on my Nvidia Shield (2015) and it won't install on my new Nvidia Shield (2019). Fix it. It was $25 to purchase!!

I just purchase and successfully installed the Jackbox party pack on my android device, but when I go to open it it doesn’t respond, I just get a black screen then I get a message that the game is not responding. I already tried to turn off and on my device and I uninstalled the game and installed back, but the same thing keeps on happening. and it did say it was compatible with my device before installing it. It took me the whole morning, for it to finally work, but still when I choose a game sometimes it doesn't connect to the Jackbox server, and I have a very good internet connection. But I have to say, I loved the games .
Absolutely love playing these games whenever friends come over. Each of the games is unique and appeals to different players, but all of them are fun and great for groups of 3 or more players. You Don't know Jack is as entertaining as ever, although the format remains unchanged from the older PC games. Drawful is a new take on the tired Pictionary/win lost or draw format. This is definitely the stand out title and really works very well. Great fun for smaller or larger groups. Fibbage stands to be a classic party game. Lie Swatter is fast paced and exciting. Word Spud is perhaps the weakest of the games here as it is only really fun with larger groups.
Bought this game on steam, PS4 and android. And it works on none of them. it just doesnt connect to the jackbox net server... its spins and spins and never connects on any of them. I followed the hard to follow port forwarding "solution" they had on their site and it still didn't work, asked a close friend who works in IT... he tried and tried and still it wouldn't work. I changed the router and net provider (not for the game mind u lol but it just happened) and it still doesn't work...I give up.
Okay, seriously, this is the second best game ever created in the universe (Jackbox Party Pack 2 being the best). Just had some people over last night and we could not stop playing. The best part is it's installed directly on my Sony Android TV! No inputs, no controllers, no HDMI cables. Literally two button presses no matter what we're doing and we can load up some Jackbox goodness. Thank you awesome devs for this amazing piece of software!
This is an amazing party game. It has the classic You Don't Know Jack trivia game and also other fun games like Fibbage. Definitely worth picking up if you have people over often.
This is the best party pack out of the bunch. Each game is fun and quick. Developers of the game are not helpful though, so hope that you do not encounter any problems which need to be fixed.
literally the best thing to have when people come round, beats any board game, card game etc - particularly drawful, it never gets boring

Boring, repetitive and simply not funny, its a travesty that a game with so few options and new questions has the gall to sell for such prices, may be worth is a $5 and below, but take it from me don't waste 24 dollars like I did.
Really fun set of games. "YOU DON’T KNOW JACK 2015" (1 of the 5 games) can be crude and not family friendly. But the rest (so far) seem to be really really fun! Worth the price.
Great set of games for Android TV. Great for small parties. You just need one laptop, phone, or tablet per person. You might want to keep some chargers on hand, because it's hard to put down.
Best thing I own on my Nexus Player. An absolute blast to play this at gatherings.

Love love these games and so glad they are compatible with my tv. Totally bummed that the commentator guy doesn’t work though and the times for switching to next questions are WAY too fast, especially when it shows the TRUTH. It shows the truth for like a millisecond!! Not sure if the commentator is only on newer versions but expected the same version as the XBOX and PS4 install.
